How fucked in the head does someone have to be to justify this?
Looks like it's trending for now. Twitter will hide it before long, though.
edit: They are live here right now. As of 11:53 EST.
Oh shit, that just got killed too!
Finally tracking down the Dr Phil episodes. This collection was bought by someone on myspleen https://www.craigslist.org/about/best/pdx/6283808412.html so if some dickheads have an account there they could try to find whoever bought it and ask if it included dr phil.
Oh my god I'm so sorry. Sorry for pointing out your half assed posting of the ticket purchase link. Here's another helpful link for you.
I can only speculate, but at the time, both were NYT best selling authors whose work originated on the internet, along with others like Robert Hamburger and this other guy called, I think, Dick Masterson (hope I remembered that right)? This was very groundbreaking at the time (early-mid 2000s), so I guess Tucker and Maddox figured it would benefit them both to promote each other.
Eventually Tucker got the movie deal, it ultimately flopped, he went dark for a while, went to therapy, got married and had a kid, quietly emerged again and starting blogging, started a highly successful company, created a podcast centered around a new book, and is now continuing with his company. I think.
Maddox.... well we all know what happened to Maddox.
But to actually answer your question. I think they "split up" due to Tucker's career going in a different direction. Although I never really thought they were "together" in the first place.
Yeah I'm just shilling it because Youtube took down my favorite Vitamin Merchant Alex Jones. Here you can have Free Speech WITHOUT Freedom of Consequences SQUAWK! Dick should start posting videos on here. https://www.bitchute.com/
Wizards of the Coast is gay and filled with pedophile judges. If you're talking about physical, it's going to be really expensive, and I imagine it may not be all that pleasant to be playing with people in those card shops or whatever they're called.
Try the online version if you're still inclined to support pedos: https://magic.wizards.com/en/mtgarena. Still in closed beta, so I have no idea how long you're going to have to wait before you get a key. Or buy a key somewhere, if you want to support pedos and the gray market. No gameplay difference from physical, including various game modes, terrible UI, terrible art, and clunky to play.
Ah yeah, you're right. To be honest, I forget that his website is even a thing these days. And if I were to visit it, I would probably type the xmission address since it's shorter and has the word "maddox" in it.
Fun Maddox website stat:
The Dick Show website now has a higher web ranking than Maddox's site. He really has nothing to cling to anymore.
The most interesting to me is /u/rageawaycrabman. The guy has a normal reddit account talking about hobbies and shit, then he disappears for nearly a year. Then he reappears on this subreddit with an entire backstory for Sean, self inserting himself as some sort of demon hunter, with incredibly elaborate posts, prosaic comments, and like 2 weeks of consistent, single minded posting about "BABYLON SEAN". All done with very consistent stylization and very consistent backstories. The beetle knight of moloch, it's like he's not just pulling this out of his ass ala' zoloft, he's got charts and notes on it.
Of course our clown corps of moderation staff continues to pull down this guy's posts so we can get more "hurr dur found a pic of Dick and Maddox" posts, great job /u/aciou, turning this sub into a toilet bowl just like your homeland.
/u/rageawaycrabman is an artist of Henry Darger proportions and I would honestly buy and read a book if he wrote one on BABYLON SEAN. Those posts are fascinating.
What the fuck is goin on with that guy?
Thank you! The article is released under this license so you're free to pilfer parts of it or readapt it however you want. You can even copy and paste it all to the wiki, so long as you don't financially profit from it and link to the original.

I'm with most other people in here. Facebook is actual cancer.
If you're also like me and most people refused to use a different messenger service, if you deactivate/delete your Facebook, you can still use Messenger. Use Messenger Lite instead of the normal one. Uses far less battery and there's no stupid sticker or story shit anywhere.
Pocketcasts has been a godsend for this. It also syncs across devices which is pretty great. I used to use Beyondpod as a free one but the recent reviews state it's gone to shit so I don't have a free suggestion :(
I have no idea what the total costs of any sort similar operation would be. But the media coverage put the awareness of our cruise missile capabilities into global consciousness for a while. Or whatever.
The missile strike took place while the Chinese president was in Washington meeting with Trump. And NK has been exceedingly restless lately. Demonstrating that we can bomb the fuck out of a target without sending bombers (with people on them) into anti-aircraft range could have been intended to send a message to those parties as well as to Syria.
Who knows, man. Maybe Trump/the military didn't want to send manned bombers into Syrian airspace (with Russian military presence) to do this, to make it a less "aggressive" act.
It also takes money to store and maintain munitions. And training and test fires have to be done every once and a while anyways.
According to this article Tomahawk missiles have a shelf-life of 30 years, but must be recertified at 15 years. Maybe the missiles we threw at Syria were reaching expiration or recertification, and would have been decommissioned or taken back to the US for recertification soon anyways. I don't know what model Tomahawk (and thus estimated year of manufacture) was used.
I looked at the list of top websites: https://www.similarweb.com/top-websites - I love that Pornhub is ranked higher than reddit, and that the average visit time to it is 11 minutes - just long enough to sort yourself out!
>Or when he was talking about how Dropbox was so poorly constructed and FTP is superior?
This isn't the case though at all... Dropbox is based on AWS S3 technology which scales great even if you suddenly got a business account with a million users using the same dropbox at the same time it would feel just like if one person used it. Speedy, elastic and scaleable. Also super safe. A ftp server on the other hand goes slower and slower the more you put into it. And will come to a crawling halt even if you use hardware worth millions of dollars if you get several people using the same thing.
As an engineer that do networking at my job I completely disagree with this. We are trying to move just a few hundred GB over FTP on great hardware and it's a total pain in the ass. Can't even log into the damn thing after we started moving enough files.
(I also found out that Maddox also uses AWS S3 on his website ( https://builtwith.com/madcastmedia.com )... The same tech that powers Dropbox... He does not use ftp to hold his static files... So Maddox was likely just memeing. Looks like a well built site tbh, very resource effective technology.)
You could try the Web Alert app (Android) and set it to monitor http://www.lolsuit.com/ for updates. No idea if this actually works or not, so I'm gonna try it now and I'll find out the next time there's an update.
You can check out MABTW.com's web rank here too. It has definitely gone up since the pod started, but it's still quite a ways away from the other two sites.
The search results to find the site are hilarious though: 10% comes from searching for "all women are whores" and another 10% comes from searching for "donkey punch".

Here's an article about Canada importing a million "people" into their country of 36 million. I'm sure they won't form a unified voting block and take over a city or province.
You know, like exactly what happened in Dearborn, Michigan.

It's processing so give it a few minutes. I can upload the full file but it's very easy to get if you know your way around youtube-dl (streams are fucky but it's just a couple extra hoops)
I'm not German, I'm Hungarian. But its okay, we did our fair share of jew killing too, but the Soviets "forgave us" for it when they took over, in exchange for becoming good little communists, so we don't even feel bad about it today. (My fine government just plastered images of George Soros all over the country, telling us not to let him and his kind "win". This year. In the EU. No joke. https://tinyurl.com/yart3uxs)
And no, I don't think Dick is a racist. I think though, that its a lot easier to take in a "scientific delevopment" without scrutiny if it tells you: "Yes, you were right all along, these people are just dumb, you are great, your people did everything great, your only mistake was overestimating OTHERS, that's why we have problems" That's not exactly racist. It is simple and pandering as hell though.
Even if the Bell Curve was an undisputed, rock solid fact (it ain't), I think racial profiling, is a lot like communist theory. Both could be useful tools to create policy that improves the world, if they were implemented by objective computers and not corrupt, biased, selfish, rotting, tribal human brains.
I don't think I can make my position clearer, I did not want this to become a whole thing. I like Dick, I just thought it's funny, how much more he questions 1 conclusion, than another. That was it.
We largely have Apple to thank for the recent trend in flat-as-hell icons and logos. But yes, this is something predicted in some prophetic documentaries
yeah way back when the show started I had hoped Gad Saad might be a guest. Dick seemed on board. I’d much rather listen to him talk about the cultural climate and it’s effects on education, comedy, society as a whole than hear dick read random feminist’s tweeter.
Dr. Saad released a book (The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense) earlier this year (something he and Dick can relate on). People who release books often do publicity. I doubt Riley reached out. too busy uploading things to YouTube and spending patreoni bucks I guess
This is the one I have. $40 on Amazon.
I hate pooping without it.
One of his ads is a parody of Summoning Salt’s channel, where he speedruns losing a sponsorship from NordVPN.
In seriousness, I bet the sponsors love his ads. People don’t skip them; they’re funny as hell, and they get the product/service in people’s minds.
Yeah, the Chillow is already a thing too, although it's a cooling pad rather than an actual cooled pillow.
Good rage. I've had some dogshit Venom battery packs for as long as I've had the Xbox, and they don't hold any charge at all so I have to use the controller wired in because I've long since lost the original cover to go back to normal batteries. It's not that bad of a setup considering I have a phone charger right next to me anyway, but it definitely feels like a problem from 20 years ago that never got sorted out.
Meanwhile, Nintendo controllers will outlive us all. What do they know that no one else does?
I learned about it in college. Look up Marshall Rosenberg's book nonviolent communication (NVC). "Nonviolent" has a loose definition here, meaning "avoiding conflict". The guy was a legend when it came to mediating disputes; a lot of his concepts are used in crisis / hostage negotiation.
Unfortunately a lot of new-age hippies also latched onto the techniques and turned them into a self-help program, but the original strategies are good.
I can't stand all of this dynamic Web 2.0 shit... and news sites are some of the worst offenders.
They took the humble news site- a page of static text with some ads around the edges- and turned each page into a 10MB monstrosity that dynamically loads the article text as you scroll, so that their analytics scripts can plot how long your eyeballs linger on every word and advertisement.
Old news sites may have looked like garbage, but they were fast. It's why I'm still a fan of RSS feeds.
It has been a long time.
It was one of the first-ever covers of the TDS theme song. It aired on October 11, 2016, in Episode 19 - "Dick on San Fransisco".
Never was quite satisfied with mixing on it. 2 or 3 iterations are out there that I have since deleted. I hear that deleting WAV files makes you better as an audio engineer.
SoundCloud won't let me upload anything else unless I switch to a subscription or create a new account. SoundCloud makes me a rage about how inexplicably that service ruins lossless audio files and has the gall to constantly beg for money with so little to offer.
Here it is again, on the much better streaming audio service site, Audius:
<strong>The Dick Show Theme — For Two Pianos and Cello (Remastered [Again])</strong>
don't listen to these people suggesting the wrong songs. you are right. i reuploaded it to my audius for you. never stop believing in yourself

So the guy runs a scan against the NP2 using a very common scanning tool, then chirps about the findings on Twitter? What a lame-o.
The problem with a guy like Zoom flexing his "security researcher" chops, is that you can't really trust anything he says- especially if he is posting it to Twitter for attention. He could be telling the truth 100%... or (more likely) he is inferring half of the information from scan results to sound more impressive. The fact that he is lying about working on the site in the first place (according to Dick), is a red flag right out of the gate.
Either way, quibbling with him about the findings is not a good idea, because it could be used to confirm information that he isn't really sure of.
> You run jquery version X, you're so insecure!
> What are you talking about? I run version Y of jquery.
> Version Y, you say? Interesting...
Lastly, if this guy does "security research" for a living, he is the last person I would hire. Clients don't like it when the people they hire have a history of chirping about their security findings on Twitter for internet points.
The actual truth is much deeper than him being a guest at one point.
Larry is a multi-talented man with decades of experience in multiple fields, often creative fields. He's probably a very comfortable millionaire who could retire if wanted. In '06 Larry wrote the book Mack Daddy. It's never been made clear but DOJO members speculate that Larry, Dick, and Maddox met through their publisher, as at the time they were all authors in the upstart "brolit" movement, a fad at that time of often satirical writing featuring exagerated masculine qualities.
Larry has been in the background from the start, he wrote pilots and worked with Dick and Maddox quite a bit. Before TBPitU started they actually recorded several episodes of a 3 man podcast, but it was not up to Maddox's standards and was never released. Certain people have access to about 6 episodes of this proto-tbpitu, but to my knowledge it has never been publicly released. No one knows for sure what his involvement with TBPITU was, but it was likely non-trivial, Larry likely engineered the rise and fall of the show before its' first episode was recorded.
Additionally Larry has is own show that is infinitely superior to TDS and has an episode where he interviewed Sean. He's always looking for more DOJO members to fill out his ever deepening bench of Senseis, Larry is known to watch the careers of young men with great interest.

Single baubles.
I wondered today if anyone had made Christmas baubles that looked like a coronavirus cell. Turns out they have. £30! But ok, that's not my rage. My rage is that it's £30 for one. One! One bauble. What good is one bauble? You have a plain ass tree with one bauble? No. You have at least 12, probably closer to 50. 100, even. Load the thing up with baubles.
But these guys aren't the only people selling single baubles, they're everywhere. Occasionally I'll be given a random ornament like a glowy Christmas present cube or whatever, that doesn't match anything else. I have a handful of these things. Together they could make an eclectic set, which I guess is the point, but that looks like shit. You want a set of red decorations, maybe red and gold. Hell, even silver if you have one of those black trees that were fashionable for a week in 2008.
Single baubles man. We need a Christmas ornament hook up app to get some actual useable sets together.
They have decent sound proofing panels on amazon that look like you aren't podcasting out of your shed for not bad price
I'd highly recomend downloading Slide if you are browsing reddit on mobile.
its far superior to their app or the shitty mobile site.
For absolute irony, here is the amazon link:
It’s one of the short stories in there. I was wrong about the title, it’s actually the one called WAGES OF HUMANITY.
A pretty good writer and the Chinese perspective is fascinating. Excited about the future and optimistic about human potential like Arthur C. Clarke used to be. (He should be, its his empire’s turn now.)
Although if I remember correctly, this story is a bit clumsy. The Three body problem trilogy is my jam though.
Jesse is slow. Dick already got his NSFW idea that he took from Shean taken in 2017 by https://www.amazon.com/NSFW-Office-Romance-Piper-Lawson-ebook/dp/B074R6H7CW/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=nsfw&qid=1570702611&sr=8-6
I looked up PIA and you're making my point - it's $6.95 a month. Which is pretty good for a VPN, but this card is a one time cost of about the same amount. A VPN is not cheaper this pass. (I use CyberGhost personally)
Also, if you are not quite skilled enough for an excavator, heres a backhoe.

Pork rinds and macadamia nuts get old after a while.
"Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill is my fucking rage. It's people who get on their high horse about their philosophy. Especially when 90% of them are new to Youtube or Netflix, and just found out that there are documentaries and motivational videos everywhere. Whether it's the women who are all about GMO's and wanting an organic clean world where everyone is healthy and somehow cancer goes away, or it's the men that swear that your mind is inherently linked with the universe, and if you think it then you will achieve it. Nobody wants to hear about it!
I don't care that you found "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill in your late 30s. I don't care that all of a sudden you feel enlightened and successful. I don't even care that you deeply embed these opinions into your regular life. My only issue with it is the way you share it. Having a conversation with a middle-aged man who has recently found Napoleon Hill, is like having a conversation with an already written-book. Whatever you want to say, it doesn't matter; the next sentence has already been written.
On that note. What is so special about Napoleon Hill's philosophy. I'm pretty sure I came up with the same thing when I was like 6. Perhaps that's what makes it so special. Too many adults are barely as smart as a 6-year-old and feel so smart and deep that they get to take a jab at "philosophy" which they always knew that they didn't have the mental capacity for in the first place.
I respect your philosophy and your pseudo-religion of thought karma, but stop explaining to me for 4 hours something that can be explained in 4 sentences. It can be explained in 4 words for fuck's sake. "Think and Grow Rich."
How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My Life by Scott Adams (the Dilbert guy).
Heard he was being shadowbanned by Twitter because he's pro Trump and decided to check out his book. So far it's ok.
4K monitors are still kind of expensive, but a big HD 1920x monitor is like $125, that should be less than a day of your salary. If he's that stubborn, just buy one and bring it in.

> The mouse is designed to be a right handed tool.
That's not entirely true. While most mice you find will be right handed, left handed mice exist, and so do ambidextrous mice.
I actually think it's pretty good sci-fi. Here's the book.
It's future sci fi sprinkled with some Trump language.
What do you think about this one?

It's an HP, but already it's still better than my current laptop and cheaper too. I'll just have to install a new graphics card with a HDMI port. I haven't really been in the PC building game in over ten years, and I can't believe how cheap things with decent specs have gotten.
I'd recommend just getting a cheap starter midi-keyboard like this unless you've got a ton of cash to throw around. You get what you pay for on build quality and they don't have on-board sound (so you'll need to plug into your computer or other device) but it's a cheap way to get started until you know exactly what you want and if you'll stick with it.
When observing stars in the sky, you cannot measure distances between stars in length, only in angles and only in relation to other stars in the sky. Many calculations are made using angles because it's the only accurate measurement of distant objects, but our observation position is constantly moving.
Even this book I have: https://www.amazon.com/Practical-Astronomy-Calculator-Peter-Duffett-Smith/dp/0521356997 doesn't have any reference to Parsec. The name itself is composed from parallax and arc second. Parallax is the observable shift of the object in relation to other objects around it when the observer moves, and arc second which is 1/360 of a turn (360 degrees is a full turn of a circle) divided by 60 minutes divided by 60 seconds: 1/1296000 of a turn

a used paperback would be fine
I seemed to have gotten a copy of this from somewhere. Though my copy has bold red lettering with white outlines, unfortunately, making it more sensationalized. It has an intro by Robert Bloch that I didn't really read followed by: The Rats in the Walls, The Picture in the House, The Outsider, Pickman's Model, In the Vault, The Silver Key, The Music of Erich Zann, The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror, The Whisperer in the Darkness, The Color out of Space, The Haunter of the Dark, The Think on the Doorstep, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, The Dreams in the Witch-House, and The Shadow Out of Time. Unfortunately no Mountains of Madness, but I do intend to read his complete works in time.
Bloodborne in particular is derived from Lovecraftian lore in the sense that you're guided through the aftermath of a Gordian Trainwreck (one of my favorite expressions I learned from Dick) caused by men dabbling in cosmic powers beyond their comprehension. Fittingly, the only one left who was involved in the ritual to make contact with a Great One, which was the catalyst for the game's conflict, has gone stark raving mad within his own nightmare. His consciousness trapped in this realm can only mutter about the secrets unintelligibly or howl like a maniac; his living body is long desiccated.
Though what bears particularly special note is the DLC (which is normally cancer, but this is the one game to do it right) has an area called The Fishing Hamlet. Which is directly inspired by The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Though I can only parrot that point since I have yet to read that story of course.
