You could have just told us you made it, the way you worded the post makes it sound a bit disingenuous.
That aside I like the neat look. I've used similarly simple timer Goodtime, although it's not quite as minimalistic.
Does the the timer keep repeating the work/break cycle automatically? Does it have the long break after 3 short ones?
I've had great success with this. You can't dial in the time you want to the second. You choose between the side that says five, 10, 25, etc, set it down and it starts going. But it makes it all so very simple, and not tied to a computer or an app
Look out through the window, read comic-strip (standard dilbert, garfield which has 3-4 boxes), let your mind wander.
From what I understand, the break time is to let your mind relax so that your brain can make the necessary neuron level changes. This also means that you have to do things in which you are not focusing on anything. If you are still thinking about the last pomodoro, then you need to stop.
To get more information, I'd recommend Coursera's Learning How to Learn which tells you how to 1-up your learning. It covers pomodoro and a few more techniques, and a lot, lot more.
There’s one here claiming to be mech only on amazon France (my local, sorry but I’m sure you’ll find it in the US)
Super Productivity does this. Ish

I just wish I got on better with the rest of it, but this bit is really good - when you go back to the app and the timer is not running, it will ask you if you want to log the missing time to a task or a break.
Thank you, I had was looking for the same timer. There is also a similar Timer from the same manufacturer, which is a bit cheaper, also has a memory functions for often used times and looks almost the same.
The only thing I found even like it is this. It has usage stats in it and doesn't require internet (I think): http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/37010/my-little-pomodoro
However, it's discontinued. I made an excel sheet instead. If I do find something I'll let you know.
That's refreshing to hear. However I'd moved from using pomodoro timer app on my phone to using one on my laptop because I do most of my work on my laptop, who does serious work other than email on their phone really.
I actually built an app called LifeHQ (http://lifehqapp.com) that combines pomodoro together with task management, journal and habit tracker. This way I manage my whole self-improvement and work in one place.
It's cool to be able to log the time from the pomodoro cycles to specific tasks from my projects.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it and any suggestions on ways to improve the pomodoro module.
Something like this, you mean?
https://www.amazon.com/Backlight-Programmable-Productivity-Countdown-Stopwatch/dp/B08PCP1ZMH
"In mute or vibration status, it provides the silence and focus for school, homework, and other silent activities, blink digits or vibrations will remind you when time arrival or timing is over."
I use this "Time Timer" that I originally bought to help my kids better understand the passing of time for work they need to do or for how much more time they get for a show (or until they can have screen time): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000J5OFW0
It apparently originally designed for autistic kids, but I find it a great visual that I even see out of the corner of my eye as I work and it has both a silent mode and a beep mode (for when the time is up). It doesn't make any sound as the time is passing. It does require 1 AA battery.
