Just in case, I use this app as a share, tracking, destruction and backup when I use Whatsapp. Take a look at "TransBox - trial" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poze.dkp.al.android
And Google has it too. Please test with sniffer if they really do not send stuff when connected again. https://thenextweb.com/apps/2019/03/13/google-squeezed-an-offline-dictation-ai-into-its-keyboard-app/
To anyone coming upon this post, don't click the link OP provided. It's a promo link and OP is spamming this in order to get some money.
However, if you're interested in Brave, use this clean link here:
I've been using VLC. While I haven't inspected the code, it is open-source and seemingly widely used. It is available at https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html. In addition, if using Mac, you can capture the internal audio using Soundflower.
I used to be a big supporter of spideroak and have had an account for probably 7 years now, but I recently made the switch to tresorit as my main cloud/backup solution. They offer secure web access as well as mobile upload. https://tresorit.com/
If you wanted to try the next cloud option, disroot offers a free (donation based) tier of 4gb I believe. https://disroot.org/services/nextcloud
log in on https://discord.com/channels/@me on firefox or a chromium-based browser.. bear in mind a complete lack of E2EE but at least unlike the desktop client it can't constantly scan for what programs you have running to set as your status etc.
I use Mullvad. In the short-term, Mullvad is good, but the excellent speeds and ping will inevitably decay as Firefox pulls in hoards of new users from their partnership.
Don't use Express, they're shit.
i've been using ExpressVPN for a few months now and experience has been great, negligible speed lags and a huge number of servers. Also it works with netflix. ExpressVPN also claims that their servers are run on rams i.e. no data is stored on hard drives.
Use ProtonVPN. Mullvad might be ok, but ExpressVPN in my opinion spends too much money on ads and for referral links.
Remember that Providers like ProtonVPN are badmounthed by most VPN review sites because they do not provide referral programs. There is also a lot of false claims between VPN providers to outdo competitors so never believe claims without checking the sources. The main reason why I prefer ProtonVPN over other providers is their radical attitude when it comes to transparency. In the VPN sector there are a lot of shady business practices going on.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) with either random server assignment if you don't care, or you can assign dedicated ones if you need to direct the location.
Private Internet Access (PIA) is one of the best, About 50 USD a year. And they never keep their logs, so no LEO agency can subpoena them.
There are free ones but I would not trust them.
