Depends on your router but it is possible to set the VPN on the router and then any device on the home network is now going through the VPN.
And I'm not sure if this may work. It masks your GEO location which is generally based on your IP:
Also Google network sharing VPN PS4. There is a way of configuring your VPN on the PC and then sharing this to another device on your local network but I think it has to be over LAN, not wireless.

Selling your PSN account breaks the Communty Code of Conduct of the PlayStation TOS.
> You may not sell, buy, trade, or transfer your Online ID, Account or any personal access to PSN Services through any means or method, including by use of web sites.
If Sony finds out they will ban the account in question.
Keep their ID in the family for now. They can change it to an independent account in the future. This way you can control play time and being able to restrict content if necessary.

Not sure if your heart is set on keeping that controller charger, but if not you could pick up something like this: http://www.amazon.com/DualShock-Controller-Charging-Station-PlayStation-4/dp/B00ENFVJJO They're affordable and it could be a more convenient setup.
Doesn't have to physically connect to the PS4, just to a wall outlet or other available USB outlet. That way you can keep your controllers on the end table or something and have your PS4's USB ports available.
If you do want to keep using that thing, nevermind and good luck.
