The Windows version relies on Chrome however that's for the reason that Chrome can offer the Windows version automatic updates.

Dimitry and I are not happy with our Linux wrapper at all but I'm afraid neither of us have much experience in dealing with Linux. After a midterm this Friday I'm going to address as many suggestions and bugs as I can, and I'm going to try and do some research into finding a better wrapper for linux. Worst come to worst we can always trial XUL, although gecko/spidermonkey doesn't seem to render Reditr as well as webkit/v8.

We're sorry about the current state of the Linux wrapper though. Hopefully we can get something done about it!

Great work! Looks great, works great, IS great! If been waiting so long for a proper reddit desktop client.

Only issue I'm having so far with the mac app is, that it won't remember its window position. No big deal, but if you could fix it some time, that'd be great :)

Right now we don't have some RES features but we have features that RES doesn't have themselves. Notably, synchronization across computers, columns, multiple tags for users, gallery mode, live updating, PM multiple users at once, and desktop notifications.

Agreed, we are quite curious as to why this occurred and would like to resolve false positives like this. As an update, I've emailed the AV company to see if they know why the scan has these results.

You're fine to ignore that, I promise you there's no viruses of any sort in Reditr and if you're at all doubtful then you can always install the Chrome version instead :)

Reditr should automatically add a "subscribed" column automatically.

I just tried to recreate your problem and I had the same issue, so I created /r/wearemusicmakers to be able to remove it. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future build.

The developers stated that in a future build (how soon, I don't know) will include the ability of custom stylesheets, which should allow custom fonts to be used.

Are you not able to go into the text box at the top of that dialog and type in "raz" and have the list update to include things starting with raz? I'm able to do that, so if it's not working then it might be a bug!

1) You can also hit the up arrow or hit the little alien head at the top of your screen to view a list of all your columns, and from there you can drag them around in the list to reposition them.

I like alien blue alot i even have pro or premium (i forget) but the idea of account sync and sharing clicked links and custom columns across my work, home, and phone sounds amazing.

Yes. Open up settings > Signature > select your current signature and then remove it. This will automatically save and your signature will be removed :)

It's possible for us to package Reditr to run on Firefox and we will investigate doing this.

Having said that, when we were doing this earlier unfortunately Reditr did not run well when being rendered by Firefox.

I think this probably has something to do with our keyboard macro class (does it work if you disable macros and reload Reditr?)

Aywho until we can figure out what's causing the bug, in the next version I've stuck an "@" symbol on the sync page so it can easily be copied and pasted.

This isn't intended to be a full on fix - but hopefully it makes the problem less of an inconvenience!

It only happens when I zoom in so I have three columns instead of four. Happens in both themes, re-installing didn't change it. Edit: Also goes away if I zoom in more. Only happens on one level of zoom. Weird.

Since you can port Android apps fairly easily to the PlayBook, if Dimitry and I can ever get a friend to loan us their PlayBook for awhile we might be able to pull that off :)

If the issue was raised by Reddit that we shouldn't give this feature to non gold users then yes, we already do a call to the API which returns as to whether or not the user is gold.
