Yes the eyelash thing was very weird. Apparently its an impulse disorder, Trichotillomania.
Seemed to me like she had been propped up there. It was confusing because of that big hole in the window behind her, though!
https://letterboxd.com/moviefan999/film/sharp-objects/4/ I follow this guy on twitter, he is a reviewer and has seen the final, he says "They actually slightly changed the ending, and it’s good that they did. The ending in the miniseries is so much better in execution than the ending in the novel".
I noticed this, too -- at first I thought she was wiping her eye. There's a psychological disorder called trichotillomania that triggers a compulsion to pull out hair from your scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, and so on. Maybe there's a connection between Adora's compulsive eyelash picking and Camille's history of cutting herself.
Thanks! I forgot about that. It's hard to trust Adora's point of view sometimes though.
I was reading about the official diagnosis that goes along with pulling eyelashes out (https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/trichotillomania/symptoms-causes/syc-20355188) and it seesm to go along with anxiety/depression/OCD disorders.
TV Show Tracker by Jonathan Antoine is hands down the best out there.

I'm gonna be that person, but Google it 😉 This is the one I have, but if you're not in the UK it might not be available to you: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075XM9CMP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_2Z305QZFVH23ZDHNEPEA
It's really good though, a mix of classics and more modern books. Some you can get for free on kindle with amazon prime, others I keep an eye out in charity shops. Think I've still got about 70 to go 😅
