I tried this one but since it didn't have all the shows I watch, I switched to a combo of trakt.tv on desktop which syncs with TV Show Tracker and vice versa.

I personally use Tv show and movie tracker - trakt client for series and letterbox for movies
In the first one you can add movies too but I like letterboxd for it's recommendation lists

Add to, watch list, collection, list, buttons. For trakt. Manually set episodes as watched. Upcoming episodes list.

I use this one, and hopefully it will do what you're asking. I remember the notifications were too much for me and I had to turn them off.
I find TVShow and movies tracker's UI confusing, other than this all the above-mentioned clients are pretty good (with sync also).
In terms of simplicity and sync, CineTrak, Cinopsys, and SeriesGuide do a good job.
What issues have you found so far? ( I don't want to mess up my Trakt data )

Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jonathanantoine.TVST instead of Series guide. Seriesguide kind of broke in the last few updates and just hasn't been performing as well as it originally was.
You're at the mercy of those running the servers Cinema depends on - there's usually no easy way to contact directly them for a reason (what they're doing is illegal in most jurisdictions). If other apps have access then they're using servers that Cinema isn't for whatever reason. This is why it doesn't pay to be dedicated to just one app.
There are apps in the Play Store to track the shows you've watched. It's certainly tedious to have to use a separate app for that, but the benefit of being independent from the pirate apps makes it worth it - the trakt app is legal, so it's far less likely to suddenly disappear. You can use whatever pirate app has the show you want to watch and just mark it as watched in the trakt app as you go. Some pirate apps have trakt.tv integration so they can mark the shows you've watched for you, making it more painless.
I use Letterboxd for movies. For TV shows I used Hobi, but in my opinion it does not work well with trakt, as it cannot make custom lists. I use TV show tracker now.
I've tried all of those and prefer this one...
TV Show and Movie Tracker is nice. Trakt integration is a must for me.

I use TV Show & Movie Tracker. I like the way it's organized, it's customizable, and you can make your own lists.
I tried multiple apps and finally settled on TV show tracker for Android. It syncs with trakt and its seamless for my use.
