60s on 6 listener…
https://www.siriusxm.com/channels/lineup-change
From what this is saying it’s the “same programming” just different channel. I’m reading this as it’s just getting a name and channel change (to 73). Since it will no longer be on 6 it will need a name change.
Other than changing your favorites list I wouldn’t get worked up over it at this point.
That's not the Platinum. That's the Music & Entertainment. That $5 deal is available straight from the website.
> I'm just wondering if they are trying to lock me into a plan that I can't get out of.
No. You may cancel at anytime. SiriusXM will refund all unused days.
That said, the current offer is for $5 plus fees plus taxes.
There is an online chat option to cancel on this page and it says they are available 7 days a week:
Chat Hours: Monday – Friday: 8am – 11pm EST Saturday – Sunday: 8am – 8pm EST
This link should give you a 3 month free trial on a preowned vehicle (without requiring a credit card) but if you have an existing account you'll have to do this trial with a different email address. https://www.siriusxm.com/trial-eligibility?intcmp=FullNav\_NA\_www:Home\_FreeTrialInMyCar&programcode=SA3MO
Check the branding on your radio. If its in your car, it may say sirius or xm or "siriusxm". But not always (my car only says "satellite").
And if its a stand alone radio made directly from siriusxm that'll be much more obvious.
https://www.siriusxm.com/find-radio-id
You could always log into your online account to check what sub you have and that'd confirm.
Sirius branded radios of course are pulling from the legacy Sirius satellites.
XM or SiriusXM pull from the legacy XM satellites.
It's under section E2 below. There was a lawsuit against Sirius to force them to allow transfers.
Good luck.
Appears they only have certain sports at certain times.
The Tour is a 360L radio, just portable. The head units in cars can get all the same channels that the Tour gets. And yes, the Xtra channels are all available in the app.
F1 broadcasts are included with "Select" on the XM/SXM side, and "All Access" on the Sirius side.

"Select" includes streaming now.

Ford uses Sirius radios in its vehicles. Honda uses XM radios in its vehicles. Both radio types can receive Liquid Metal.
If you are a subscriber and you are missing channels, make sure your subscription was correctly transferred to your new vehicle. If it has, you can do a manual refresh.
If you are not a subscriber, or your subscription is not associated with your new vehicle, then you are currently listening to the SiriusXM Free Listening Event, which does not include access to Liquid Metal and will end on November 27th.
You'll want the SiriusXM Onyx Plus. It supports SiriusXM Xtra Channels, which includes Faction.
Note that this radio is technically an XM radio, so you will get the XM Select package (though it sounds like you have All Access, so this won't be an issue for you.)
Congrats on the new car! Pretty sure your radio will work. (You did hear the free period and were happy with the sound quality) Worse case is that you may not get some of the higher number channels. Like my radio in my 2017 gets the 300 # channels.
Not sure what you mean by limited options.
For the package to choose, that's up to you. That $5 / month is almost as good as it gets. Or as absolutely as good as it gets. Then after the year is up, nearly everyone here at /r/siriusxm does the old "say they are going to cancel to keep getting the $5 / month rate". I love the technology and don't mind paying $15 / month for a few months here and there. I'm getting a radio signal from geostationary satellites beamed to an antenna on my car and can listen the same radio station from New York to California if I want to!
You need to do that 3 month trial you are eligible for and fully explore your radio. See if you get those extra higher # channels and have the features you want.
I never give them my credit card. I mail in payment or use a prepaid SXM gift card. Never ever had a problem cancelling. I cancel 7 days prior to my renewal date. And I cancel through the Chat feature. All of these tips can be found in Sirius XM Customer agreement found HERE: https://www.siriusxm.com/phx/customer-agreement?intcmp=OTHER_NA_www:packages_CustomerAgreement
I would listen. It's such a niche though, it seems like a good starting place for this would be maybe a 2-3 hour weekend show on Cinemagic - 750. Back when I first got XM and this was a channel played on the hardware... before streaming. I would listen quite a bit. FWIW
You might want to look a bit closer on the website
https://www.siriusxm.com/channels?intcmp=FullNav_NA_www:Home_ChannelGuide
If you go to "All" then toggle between All Access and Select, it shows a padlock for the channels not available. As others have suggested, it's mostly NFL, Howard Stern, and the extra streaming channels.
If you download their latest channel lineup it's called out on the listing for 40s Junction.
I wondered the same thing as /u/syphix924 and found that SiriusXM has different terms and conditions depending on if you're a SiriusXM (USA) customer or a SiriusXM Canada customer.
SiriusXM's domestic service has a cancellation fee clause if a subscription is purchased as part of a discounted radio bundle (typically this is how radios are sold online). The customer agreement says a fee may be assessed in other circumstances, but it doesn't say what those circumstances are, so it's unlikely one would be charged outside of a situation involving a hardware-subscription bundle.
But SiriusXM Canada's service has an entirely different cancellation fee clause in their terms that allows the company to charge upwards of $150 for cancelling a year-long or multi-year discount based on a number of factors, including attempting to cancel after you've had your service for more than 30 days. That clause doesn't apply to residents of Quebec because of local laws governing fees.
This community has a rule that prohibits encouraging people to circumvent geographic and service restrictions and limitations, but if you live in Canada and want SiriusXM I think it's pretty obvious what you should do.
I don't know if this link actual will produce the offer displayed, but it's worth a show: 12 months of All Access + a free Amazon Echo for ~$99, plus taxes & music license fees.
On your radio, the channel will change every day. To find the right channel quickly, save the daily sports schedule page on your mobile browser like this: https://www.siriusxm.com/mlbschedule and reference it when needed. Otherwise, just stream from the mobile app and save the team page as one of your favorites.
Personally, I listen to NPR for U.S. focused news because I believe real/factual news has been ignorantly labeled as "liberal." NPR has a wide variety of shows, topics, news updates throughout the day and you will end the day more informed with their real news than you will with other channels. If that's what liberal is, I'm happy with that.
BBC is excellent for international news. POTUS is good if you want balanced politics talk 24/7 with news updates. CSPAN radio is available for government live in action type programs. I listen to BBC but not the other two.
Don't have any recommendations for general talk but I would check out Insight https://www.siriusxm.com/siriusxminsight.
Yes, next time I will read all of the fine print for 3 hours before I buy a car as I am sure you do with everything. Stop being obtuse. Obviously there are ways to take care of this after the fact, hence my post.
edit: https://www.siriusxm.com/pdf/siriusxm_privacypolicy_eng.pdf
I think I found a few places in that verbiage where I didn't actually consent directly, but because this system is in my car, they:
>This Policy provides you with information about what data is collected by Sirius XM Radio Inc. (“Sirius XM”, “us” or “we”) when you visit the Sites to use our Services, including in your vehicle, or when you purchase products from us or our agents
I will contact Honda and have my paperwork reviewed so I can find where they got my "consent" and we will take care of this little problem.
https://www.siriusxm.com/packages/siriusselect
edit: does that look like your package? Even though I've read they can be resistant to transfer lifetime subs to other radios. Their BS was saying "It was for the life of the radio, no the subscriber". I think some guy in California sued them over it. Don't remember the details and I don't know what this all stands now.
never mind. I looked on the sirius site and found this one: https://www.siriusxm.com/servlet/Satellite?irgwc=1&utm_content=Groupon%2C%20Inc&utm_term=wM23pn30VX5dwRkUOzXVVUT6UkjTZARhW0RM1E0&c=SXM_PageDetail_C&childpagename=SXM/SXM_PageDetail_C/LandingPageFullWidth&cid=1293953806617&p...
There is nothing wrong with a good Sirius receiver.
> and my favorite sports teams
The sports content on your Stratus 7 is good. On the SiriusXM side, Onyx Plus or Onyx EZR, the sports content is better, in that there are college sports channels in the 300s, the "away" NFL broadcasts are in the 300s. If you have a physical receiver with "All Access," then the app is best, with the understanding that there is internet buffering/lag.
On the music side, classic rock, there are music some channels in the 300s that might interested you.
Today Amazon is offering a new Onyx EZR with vehicle kit for $36.
https://www.amazon.com/SiriusXM-SXEZR1V1-Satellite-Radio-Vehicle/dp/B06XSGYCHC
Again, there is nothing wrong with your Stratus 7, but the SiriusXM receivers are the ones that tune the greatest number of channels, including the "Satellite 2.0" channels.
My personal preference in a vehicle in the Onyx EZR, since it has a large screen and is easy to operate.
For portables, I equally prefer the Sirius Stiletto 2 and the XM XMP3, both of which record. These two receivers are not as simple as the Stratus 7 or the Onyx Plus/Onyx EZR receivers.
Wrong. Every unit comes with a flex capacitor.
Wrong. Every unit comes with a flex capacitor.
Bluetooth just asking for year of frustration to keep it linked to the car radio reliably. if you have Aux-in capability in your radio car I would use that - that's what I do. There's a 3.5 mm output jack on the dock for my sat radio and that gets plugged into the Aux-in jack that's in the located inside armrest storage compartment of my car. Another option is get a model that has the FM modulator built in and just listen through the FM radio in the car.
For power, cut the end off the cigarette power cord and hardwire it into your fuse box using a circuit breaker tap. Something like this (they sell these at most auto parts stores for a couple bucks.):
https://www.amazon.com/JABINCO-Circuit-Adapter-Blade-Holder/dp/B0827L4HH9
Positive side of the Sat radio power cord goes into the crimp connector on the tap and the negative(ground) you can just wrap under a screw that is screwed into any metal part of the car - I found one right next to my fuse box. I tapped off the breaker that ran the car radio. This way Sat radio powers on soon as I turn the ignition key. No problem - been setup like this for almost 10 years.
I have an old Onyx radio that I can pull out of the car dock and pop into the home dock - I've seen bundles where they include the car kit and home dock along with the Sat radio. I bought my home dock kit a couple years after I already I had the radio - I picked it up for $10 on Ebay.
Further research, I’ve learned of these:
Mondo Elite https://www.amazon.com/Grace-Digital-Mondo-Internet-Bluetooth/dp/B08BKVDR5H/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=MONDO%2BELITE&qid=1660963460&sr=8-1-spons&smid=A84CF7CEZAB7G&th=1 SiriusXM WiFi Sound Station https://www.amazon.com/SiriusXM-GDISXTTR3-Wi-Fi-Sound-Station/dp/B09468MTR6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1E2XJLL21ID5U&keywords=sirius+bluetooth+radio&qid=1660963146&sprefix=sirius+blue%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-5
Appreciate any comments on these as well.

Here’s a link to one on Amazon. I wouldn’t buy this brand new one because you can usually find a used one for like 20-40 bucks secondhand. Also, I bought the remote on eBay for like 10 bucks which is nice.
Make sure you get the remote specifically for this boombox, however! I bought the wrong one before that was only for the radio unit. The correct one will control both the radio AND the boombox volume/power
Yes you can have presets on the ezr. Also if you do go the ezr route the cheapest place is Amazon with car kit and if you haven’t done a locker pickup I will link a coupon to give you $10 off the order. Also ironically the Amazon deal is so good that the radio bundle is cheaper then the car kit by itself. Here is the Amazonlink, and here is the coupon.
You really just need one of these. It should just plug right into the back of your stereo depending on what type of connection you have. Looks like it comes with an Aux to red and white audio cable. If you need Aux to Aux that’s easy to buy. I don’t think they make any home units with Bluetooth built in but you could get one of these.
Get that one then! That's the one we're on. Last year we paid $5 for 12M and when that expired, I found an offer for $2 for 3M, and then I found that $1 for 3M offer when the $2 one expired. Haven't paid more than $4 for the last six months 🎉.
Cancel the day before it auto-renews and keep going to the homepage for new cheap offers.

I think if you're looking to make SXM a Spotify replacement you'll find yourself quickly annoyed with how repetitive their playlists are across all of the EDM channels.
Here's a breakout of their current EDM lineup.
It's on ABC so CNN, MSNBC, etc can't carry it. POTUS or NPR are your best bets on SXM. Nothing mentioned on the SXM website. TuneIn will carry it: https://tunein.com/radio/The-Third-Democratic-Debate-from-ABC-News-s306459/

It's a part of that package. problem is it runs out after 1 year then you get to pay for all those services.
I'm having the same problem. Some tracks play completely but most skip to next track partway through. Skip point seems fairly random. Their chat support line is closed for the day now but I plan to log a support request on this issue tomorrow. Perhaps if enough of us complain, SiriusXM will take action on the problem.
On a more general note, I'm very disappointed at the way SiriusXM is continuing to downgrade the Cinemagic channel. Although there seems to be an increased variety of tracks and perhaps less repetition on the new Xtra Channel, I miss the structured, thematic programming.
It's also very irritating that I had to contact support a few days ago just to find the new channel location. As of this post, it still isn't even listed on the channel lineup change page: https://www.siriusxm.com/channels/lineup-change
The reps typically pitch a mediocre offer first, which you don't have to take. That $60 Select plan is a real thing, I renewed with it last week. If you get the runaround, try again with another rep. Also, have a disposable credit card handy from a service like Privacy.com -- you can shut it off after they bill your subscription for the year.
There's several tiers of "channels" on SiriusXM: The legacy channels go up to 235; SiriusXM 2.0 channels are in the 300s, while streaming-only channels are a mixture of channels in the 300s, 400s and 700s.
Most of the SiriusXM 2.0 channels have moved to streaming only, so if you're looking at an outdated FAQ or channel lineup, you're going to see channels that were once available on 2.0-capable radios and receivers, but aren't anymore.
Edit: Click or tap here if you want to see the current SiriusXM lineup
Geez, it depends on the vehicle, before activating trials go to https://www.siriusxm.com/trial-eligibility?intcmp=PKS_NA_www:phx:sxm-tryfree_AA&programcode=SA3MO and check if your radio is eligible. Worked on SXM retention dept. and half of cancellations was because people activated streaming trials and wanted to have it transferred to their vehicle…
Select is now called Music & Entertainment. They moved most of the sports live game channels to Platinum (formerly called All Access). You can pay monthly or yearly, depending on the deal you get and what you ask for when you call.
a lot of cars can't gett 311, but it is on the app. In the summer they make it available on a lower number channel. Download the app and try. Also, you can get the $6 deal here https://www.siriusxm.com/channels/yacht-rock-311
Happens to me too. Tried many cards and they all don't work, including regular cards and ones from privacy.com. Also called a card provider to see if they denied it and they don't even get the charge. Tried talking to sirius customer service about it one time but they are awful
Suggestion. Use a disposable credit card #, authorized for exactly the amount of the promo, and cancel the card immediately after they authorize/charge it.
I use one (I amnot a shill for them, just using as a personal example) called "Privacy" https://privacy.com/ , but many credit card issuers now allow creation of temporary "online shopping" numbers that are basically the same thing.
This way, XM (or any other site with a trial window before they auto-charge) cannot bill you beyond what you authorize, and in the case of a site that only ever does an authorization (without actually putting the charge through), you will wind up paying nothing, even if you forget to cancel before the auto-charge starts.
The bigger lesson: if some "free" offering asks you to provide a payment method, they're going to auto-bill you. Read the fine print carefully, and consider using a burner credit card from privacy.com (you can disable the card instantly at any time).
I spent 45 min trying to cancel. Got 3 months for .99. Ended up with 6 month hold, i moved the card to a privacy.com one with a 1.00 limit. I'll let it try to hit that in December.
I wish they made it easier for long time listeners to cancel. i'd be more likely to use them in the future.
I cancelled a week ago via the online form as my 6 month extended trial was ending on 4/7. I submitted the cancellation on 4/1. My credit card was billed for the next month on 4/7, 6 days after I submitted the cancellation. :-(
Tried calling and no answer. I feel like they're taking advantage of this pandemic to stop people from cancelling service. Will now try the privacy.com option mentioned previously.
On my recent renewal call, the retention rep told me I needed to pay with a credit card immediately to get the special rate. No more invoices. :-(
Be prepared with a privacy.com card next time you call, just in case.
Also happy cake day!
I’m not understanding your comment. All Xtra channels are stream only. With a platinum account OP can listen to them in car with Android Auto via the SiriusXM app.
The agent was full of it. You can use it as long as it's debit card with visa or mc logo on it.
Here 3 free months and no credit card required. If you do nothing, it will automatically cancel after 3 months.
Under the privacy policy, you can opt out of SXM telemarketing calls through their website.
https://care.siriusxm.com/donotcall
https://www.siriusxm.com/do-not-call
There should be a link to unsubscribe from the emails on the bottom.
For physical mail you can also opt out of that as well... But it's only guaranteed for three years and you have to request this through listener care.
No one gave you the right answer. Ford in particular in 2014 did not have the most up to date built in SiriusXM Radio. It is possible there are channels available on Satellite radio you are not getting.
But there are also channels that are only available online or in the app that are not available over any Satellite Radio. So you need to figure out what channels you are not getting and look at the SXM site and see if they only online/app or are available on newer Satellite radios including built in.
Here's one example. Channel 311 - can you get it? If not a newer radio would get it even though the site sometimes shows it is online. I got it when I upgraded my Onyx and then in our newer car. There are other examples.
IMO, Sirius XM is pretty good at keeping their channel guides updated.
Hi, u/NormUstitz, Thanks for giving u/matthewkeys' suggestion a try. As that didn't resolve the issue, I suggest contacting support here for 1:1 help to get you back in the app after troubleshooting this for you.
Up to you my friend. Grab a channel guide and start exploring all there is. I've been a subscriber since 2002 with XM.
Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.
Yea, that's not included for the $60 a year.
$3.99 a month with a SiriusXM radio subscription.
That link points to the SXM guide, not the Sirius Guide, which can be found here:
https://www.siriusxm.com/lineup/sirius
> Before MLB and NFL was available to all subscribers.
That's not true--MLB was included in "XM Select" (and the associated "SXM Select"), but NFL was not included in either XM/SXM Select.
NFL was included in "Sirius Select," but was not included in either "XM Select" or "SXM Select."
There is no indication that NFL is moving to "All Access" on the Sirius side.
> "MLB Play-By-Play (CH 89) is no longer available on our Select package."
MLB Play-by-Play is not Channel 89. On Sirius radios, MLB Play-by-Play is broadcast on channels 216-219. On XM/SXM radios, MLB Play-by-Play is on channels 176-189. Channel 89 is MLB Network Radio (MLB sports talk). So that person got mixed up.
I looked at the channel lineup page and it shows that for both platforms, the Select package includes MLB Network Radio (89) but does not include MLB Play-by-Play (Sirius 216-219, XM/SXM 176-189).
This is the language on SiriusXM's Customer Agreement:
https://www.siriusxm.com/phx/customer-agreement
Lifetime Subscriptions: Section E-2 updated effective March 5, 2021
2. Lifetime Subscription Plan: We previously sold Lifetime Subscriptions. This plan is no longer offered for sale. Lifetime Subscriptions are not transferable from one person to another. Lifetime Subscriptions are nonrefundable. You may transfer an active Lifetime Subscription to another radio an unlimited number of times. For each permitted transfer of a Lifetime Subscription, you will be charged a $35 transfer fee, and the transfer must be effectuated on the Site.
They have updated their Customer Agreement terms to match this. I am now just waiting for them to re-activate my account subscription...
> The web site does not differentiate between Sirius or XM radios.
Ah, as I should have suspected, the channel guide is wrong about Howard--SiriusXM is incompetent.
Howard is included in Select if you have a Sirius radio.
Claim by u/johnconnors88
"XM radio subscribers need ALL ACCESS for Howard."
Response by u/caller-number-four
"https://www.siriusxm.com/channels?package=SXM_SIR_AUD_EVT
Seems to indicate otherwise."
Simply put, u/caller-number-four, you're wrong!
> If you’re looking at their pdf of all the channels it probably doesn’t show their Christmas channels since they are seasonal.
Complete with the start and end dates, the Christmas channels are all listed on the first page of the PDF.
Their revamped online channel guide is incorrect for the Select package. I've had it for years (at the $60/yr rate) and it has included the Xtra Channels for a long time. I don't know why the new channel guide says they are not included. It contradicts the Select package page under "The Music You Want To Hear" blurb (quoted below emphasis mine) :
>... enjoy over 100 ad-free Xtra channels for every mood, occasion, and activity.
The channel guide says I shouldn't have Z100/NY but on the app & website I do. It also says I shouldn't have Carlin's Corner and She's So Funny under the Comedy section but I do online. So idk how reliable the online channel guide is outside of Howard Stern and NFL.
The SXV300 is a 2.0 device that can get the "Xtra Channels" which use newer compression technology. These channels (in the 300 range) tend to sound better. Download the PDF channel guide to see what's available, and note that they also brand a bunch of online-only channels as "Xtra" as well.
The normal satellite channels still use the old technology, so quality will vary. Either way, any 2.0 receiver will sound better than your old SIRIUS one because they're using the XM network.
Your mom doesn't have access to 2.0 channels. Those are all the channels in the 300s and 400s.
Ford was late with the switch over from Sirius radio to siriusxm.
I'm happy to help - first, what subscription package do you have? And what radio if I may ask?
Second, to get you started, I'd like to recommend
https://www.siriusxm.com/channels/1st-wave
And specifically Sluggo's show which starts about 6am weekdays. If you are familiar with Los Angeles' KROQ, Sluggo should sound familiar. He's entertaining and really knows his 80's Alternative music.
Of course, Richard Blade is a legend and should also be familiar - his show is also really good, he's on afternoons (after Sluggo)
Use the link above to navigate to the Rock stations, and when on the main list of stations, click on the channel logo picture on the left hand side to get to the full page for that station, where you will find the DJ's and their shows.
I hope this gets you started!
Im just back to SiriusXM after more than a year away, so I might be making this up, but based on my understanding and this page, the xtra channels (and I assume the on demand) are "Available online and on the app." So, not on any of the physical radios.
But your best bet would be to call customer service I imagine.
You need one of their business plans. You can't legally play the regular consumer service in your store. There are two services. One is on the internet and the other uses a satellite receiver, cable, and antenna.
Depends on your car, if you have xm, sirius or Siriusxm radio. All 3 are different. The newer car, the more likely, you are to have the updated Siriusxm.
Channels in the 300s and 400s are siriusxm radiosand streaming only.
Everything in the 700s and 800s are streaming only unless you have a 360L radio.
Stopping at 225, sounds like you have an xm only radio.
This link tells you what is available in your car:
Sounds like you got a salesperson who likes inventing things to make themselves appear knowledgeable.
SiriusXM is absolutely being installed in new cars. The Chevrolet Trax is listed on SiriusXM's website as a supported vehicle where SiriusXM is installed at the factory.
Certain trims of some vehicles may not have a SiriusXM-compatible radio or tuner installed by default — you might have to upgrade to a better package (sport or luxury edition, for example). But SiriusXM is still offering its service in new cars, and cars are still shipping with SiriusXM in them.
By the way, since your mom only listens to news channels, it might be worth looking into getting the XM News, Sports and Talk package. It's $11 a month and doesn't have the extra Music Royalty Fee (for obvious reasons).
Yacht Rock has been 105 for the last few months, and I just found it on 70.
105 is now one of the stations that play a loop of sports schedules.
This seems to say Love is now on 289.
Someone must have spun the wheel this morning and this is the latest shuffle of long-standing stations so they can make room for more artist-exclusive channels.
I tested channel 88 and 225, and I see the message "Unsubscribed Channel Call 1-866-635-2349 to subscribe".
Looks like they may have changed which packages it comes with now. I only see NFL being listed for the All Access Package, and I have Select https://www.siriusxm.com/ourmostpopularpackages
Yes, as others have suggested, channel 757 is not broadcast over satellite at all. US & Canada use the same satellite. 757 is an online only channel, but it is available in the SXM app for both countries.
Occasionally, The Tragically Hip Radio channel does take over The Verge, SXM channel 173, for a long weekend, but that is the only time it is broadcast on the satellites. And, for what it's worth, all the Canadian channels are very compressed on satellite because they are really only broadcast to comply with required Canadian Content laws. But, on the app, because there are no limitations on bandwidth, the Canadian channels sound great, because they are able to use the full bandwidth just like USA channels.
I don't really know why SiriusXM doesn't just upgrade all Canadian channels to parametric stereo, because 1. They are clearly never going to give them more bandwidth and 2. Even if they did become mono on older radios, they aren't exactly offering great stereo as it is.
Canadian Content requirements:
>In terms of channels, 10% must be Canadian-produced, and there must be at least one Indigenous channel. In terms of overall programming, at least 85% of all musical selections and 85% of all spoken word broadcast in a week on all Canadian-produced channels must be Canadian.

>Subscription packages must contain at least three English-language and three French-language Canadian music channels.
My personal favorite Canadian channel is Poplandia, which plays the best of (English language) Canadian Pop from the last 30 years plus new/emerging pop tracks. It's also online only.
Update: After several days, the program schedule changed and no longer shows a Queen channel take-over, so I guess there was a burp at SXM.
Yes, I read that one. But in that pdf, I didn't see any condition saying cancellation fee will be collected if you redeem the Echo Dot and then cancel your SXM subscription. The "cancellation fee" section says
>Cancellation fees may be applied to Subscriptions activated in combination with a device purchased from us.
That can't apply to the Echo Dot.

Take a look at the channel lineup and see what you recieve. I hope the mods eventually add a bot to send out this link for anyone asking questions about channels.
They're doing several limited edition artists channels for May. Zeppelin, Bowie, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, etc... everything goes back to normal after that.
No. They will just keep trying to charge for a few months then send your account to collections. There is an online cancel form you can use now, so why is that option not palatable for you? https://www.siriusxm.com/stay?intcmp=CONTACT-HELP_ContactUs_Modify
Their PDF guide lists those as "Available online & on the app." It does seem odd that Road Trip music wouldn't be on the satellite. Here's the guide for All Access where they show those as streaming only.
I think it's now mostly Pandora (not actual channels), Howard Stern, all sports, etc.
This isn't 100% clear, based on the mailer I got:
Yes, I printed the channel lineup for my vehicle they have registered, and went through every channel compared to their complete lineup, and Howard was in there. I was surprised to see Howard also, but yet I never played it in my vehicle, so maybe it's been there all along with a Select membership? Maybe someone else can explain why, because I had thought Howard was a premium pricing deal. Fyi, I have Ford with Sync 3, and I believe that has a Sirius radio, not XM, but I'm not 100% sure.
Here is a link to see that Howard is listed for Select. https://www.siriusxm.com/ourmostpopularpackages?intcmp=GN_HEADER_NEW_Subscriptions_SubscribeNow_CompareAllPackages

They sometimes reactivate inactive radios during the holiday period to try and get more customers. This period runs from Nov 22nd to Dec 3rd
Has everything but NFL, MLB, NBA play-by-play as well as live NASCAR. So, nope :(
It's the 'Premier' plan. You can compare packages here https://www.siriusxm.com/ourmostpopularpackages
Also on the Streaming-tier are Heat 2K Hits, and 90s on 9 Hip-Hop/R&B, Fly Party, Fly Workout, and Fly 2K Hip Hop. ('Fly' stations are all "'90s & 2000s Hip-Hop/R&B") . There are a bunch of Lithium streaming stations too, but i have not listened to them personally. https://www.siriusxm.com/channellineup?
Go to the Channel Lineup for an XM or SiriusXM radio. The Xtra Channels are from 300-359.
Will the website change soon? It still says Select does not come with Internet listening.
Also is there a price adjustment or is it still $15.99/month?
Check out the SiriusXM for Business page. There are a range of options he can use, either by purchasing dedicated radio hardware or by using a phone or tablet running the SiriusXM app. SiriusXM for Business plans are all fully licensed for business use.
Check the SXM website. here and filter by sports: https://www.siriusxm.com/channellineup/siriusxminternetradio Looks like they have all the sports talk stations, NHL, NBA, and some soccer. No NFL or MLB play by play though.
New subscribers should be eligible for the deal no questions asked:

If you only listen to the talk channels and you want to save some money, you can always downgrade to the News, Sports and Talk package. That doesn't include any comedy channels though.
Unless they changed the channel lineup or something, I'm not sure. Let me see and get back to you.
Edit: looks like they did. That's a bummer.
