That is the app I am using and it's trying to get me to pick another app to well not sure as my phone cuts off the top.
I have used the teckin plugs in the past - I was looking for some more and thought these would be really good - and they are not bad - I'm guessing this is similar to what the OP is talking about but the problem I've found so far is there is no easy way to get the data out of the plug.

For those that might land on this and still have issues, use this app instead:
Hey, thanks for your response. No, I reckon the lamp does not offer a music mode then. It's this exakt lamp (Amazon Germany link, but in English):
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07RJN2VJ3/ref=1&language=en_GB
I guess I was hoping the app can just override a possible lamp limitation then, but that's not possible?
That website looks like it is for developers only....
From Tuya website:
>How do I restore a faulty device to factory settings?
Last Updated on:
2022-05-17 01:16:00
Dear user, we are sorry for your inconvenience. If you do so:
Tap the faulty device in the device list to enter the device's control panel.
Tap the button in the upper right corner to enter the device setting page.
Tap “Remove Device—Disconnect and wipe data” to remove the device from the device list and clear all data related to the device.
If your device is offline, your device will unable to restore factory settings, because the device cannot communicate with the App and the cloud after it is offline.
Note: If you just click Disconnect, the App will only remove the device from the App, and will not delete any data on the device, nor will the device enter the pairing mode (some devices have their own logic to automatically enter pairing mode after disconnection).

So, without having access to the old one, I'm not sure. Have you tried using the Smart Life app instead? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuya.smartlife&hl=en_US&gl=US

The only other thing I'd say is that you can just keep on trying to reset.
They make several versions of these now. which should solve you problem

Finding something that can tolerate a 12v input is tough. There are a few that take a dry contact input like this Aeotec one, but you'd have to have the 12v trigger operate a 12v relay and connect the dry contacts of the relay to the dry contact input.

You can't from this page basically it is a 3 gang switch so from here you need to click into it then you have the individual selection in which you can rename each to avoid confusion.
However, if you connect Google Home from Home app it does separate each switch including the group as well.
From SmartLife you can create scenes to act individually. I guess the idea is basically quick access to perform the action on the switch. Hope this makes sense.
I've had this for a year and it works great. I did have to contact the seller for a required accessory and they were good to deal with.

That's the link to the one I bought from Amazon in the UK. They are not that cheap unfortunately but I did not mind because I already had a tuya zigbee gateway that I was using for motion sensors and radiator valves.
You can definitely use it to switch on WiFi devices. I have one near my back door to turn on outdoor lights and change colour/brightness. My outdoor lights are WIFI

I use this one from Nexete and am very happy with it.
This does not answer your question as far as the "app" but, I did find this on Amazon. Looks like an easy fix:
https://www.amazon.com/ILIVABLE-Protects-Circuits-Accidentally-Children/dp/B08BFJ7LH1
I don't see why this wouldn't work. It's a switch designed to turn something off and off by temp, sort of like an IF/THEN statement in an app. It says the probe is water proof. But I don't see why would couldn't just not use the switch aspect and just confine the use to knowing the temperature of the water.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TF5SYGL/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
My original thought was meat thermometer probes used in meat smoking. The temp probes I have aren't smart compatible, but meat smoking is a "middle aged guys with money" hobby , I would have a hard time believing there wasn't one out there.
I ended up returning mine and buying this one:

We'll see!
You can roll your own with something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M7MR44P/ref=twister_B07PWCY7XN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 they are basically the same as a addressable led strip but in string form, you would still need a controller and power but these can be picked up cheaply.
I purchased these to control my christmas tree and other lights. They worked great over the season. SmartLife had no problem pairing with them. There is a review that mentions the app not showing when the device is 'on'. I'm on version 3.34.5 and have -not- had that issue.

2 throw single gang. I'm sure there's a single if that is what you are looking for.... Be aware, you need both black and white wires at the switch. Older homes may only have black.
Not particularly elegant but I find good utility in things like this.
Cablelera Power Cord Extension and Splitter, NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R x 2, 16 AWG, 13A, 125V (ZWACPQAG-14) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FRODUR4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_R8ZTRCEQF5N784DECZ42
Hmmm... something weird is afoot. The login details are supposed to be the same as for the Smart Life app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuya.smartlife&hl=en_GB&gl=US), not the Tuya Smart app, though I'm not sure of the difference.
Are there 4 PIR states with your motion sensor? The one I got has 4, motion detector, no one, motion detector: duration, and No One: duration... Set motion detector to turn on your lights and no one duration to like 5 mins..

Thanks for reply, but these are wall-mounted. My question was about the smart wall plug.
For the wall lights dimmer I've got Moes

I just would make sure they also have Google Home/Alexa compatibility. It’s so much nicer using a voice command to turn those LED strips on. My strips use the Govee Home app. They are awesome. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q45SP9P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I think I just found the answer. This can be done with RBGIC strips, that allow multiple colors at the same time. Here's an example at Amazon.
https://smile.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Govee-Changing-Segmented-Multicolor/dp/B08149FMTG
RGBIC strips can't be cut, so keep that in mind.
If you're running a legacy wired security system, these devices seem pretty capable: Eyez On Invisalink. Probably overkill, but also more features to explore!
Okay, in order for automation AND timing functions (delay, schedule etc) to work, you have to purchase the following:
Maybe I overlooked it, but I didnt see anywhere it mentioned either in the documentation packaged with the device, the online docs, or even Amazon description a requirement for this hub in order to take advantage of additional (standard) features.
Without this device, the light’s functionality is limited because they have no way to query time & weather.
For the most part, this hub did solve my issues. Location-based automation is still not functional, but it’s a BETA function, so Im not that worried.
Let me know if you have any questions!
You want all 3 switches to control the single light, correct? What you’re looking for is a 4-way switch. Take a look at the Lutron Caseta 3-Way Switch. It’s standard smart switch that comes with a remote that essentially replaces the other switch. You can then buy an additional remote to replace the third switch. The directions will walk you through the install but it’s pretty simple.
I've had good luck with these: (4 pack for $25.99 and there is a 10% off coupon)

They are only 15 amp, but the energy monitor works well with the Smarlife app, and with automations (I use them to detect the TV power to set up the living room lights for "TV watching mode").
BN-Link does.

They have a decent sized selection of smart products on there, but I'm not certain whether they're the manufacturer or just a middleman for a Chinese factory pumping out tons of these gadgets.
I use this ones from amazon, are 110/220 and work perfect with tuya smart, smart life app. One great thing about smart life is, we don’t need any special switches for 3 way circuits; now we can control a switch state from a different one, works perfect
So I saw a Youtube video claiming that the Brilliant Smart app (which I understand to be a company in AUS) which is essentially the Smart Life app, licensed by Tuya, still has the IFTTT implementation. Brilliant contacted the Youtuber telling him they were fine with people using their app with their devices, as they just renewed their IFTTT license.

I haven't tried it to this point.
I am not sure what is the voltage you are using? Is it a battery based? If not, I think you can consider something like this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089QD5CT6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got this last week. Honestly it's amazing
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WRT67T4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yea it does not quite work like that. You have in essence connected SL and tuya and smart life and Alexa but not Alexa and tuya. They are all independent cloud services that need to talk to each other and can’t do it through their friends so to speak
Again I’m not familiar with tuya as I have a ST hub. When you set up your hub did you not have to set up an app or account for it ... how do you add devices to your hub? I’m gonna guess. It’s probably not through Sl but rather some app on your phone for tuya....
Try enabling this skill and link it to your hub account.

Yes. All you need is a Tuya/Smart Life Sensor and create a smart automation in the smart life app with triggering condition: door is open; action switch light on; effective: your desired time range. This requires of course the light to be controlled by smart life as well. Just for reference, I’m using the ones in the link below but they are plenty others.
