Edit: For those unfamiliar with APK updating & Nox, just drag the APK downloaded in Nox (from your computer, directly into the home screen of Nox) with the link I provided. It will then automatically update. You don't need to uninstall the previous version.
The game plays greatly if you also use a gamepad. I have it set it up so it can dodge in any direction with the d-pad on a PS4 controller.
Nel doesn't have "Aqua Spread" until Awakening lvl8
EDIT: At the moment, she has access to Flying Guillotine and Mirror Blade
Here's Nel's frame data from the JPN spreadsheet: https://puu.sh/B7Kl8/ce5f5c2679.png
I would suggest Normal > Sylvan > Terror > Sylvan > Sylvan > Sylvan for dps/rush building (the triple Sylvan should be 300% cancel bonus at this point)
If you can't fit in the normal attack, Sylvan > Terror > Sylvan > Terror is okay too
It doesn't say so ingame, but for the Post-Rush Buffs, y'all should mention the 15% chance to poison on normal attack is deadly poison
Normal poison ticks for 1.11% HP/3sec whereas deadly poison ticks for 3.33%HP/4sec (huge increase)
If you are on Android the best way is through either downloading the apk in APK Pure or using QooApp. If you are on iOS then you'll need a JP iTunes account.
Personally I prefer QooApp since it is easier to maintain and handle games. APK Pure you need to know the game ID every time a new client version is up to install the apk since their search engine isn't friendly for JP games.
For anyone on android: https://apps.qoo-app.com/en
This site makes it so much easier, see it as a playstore for asian mobile games. You can also download the APK for it and install that so you can update your games from within their app rather than their site. This way you dont have to look for updates either.
What device are you running? kinda hard to give advice w/o knowing which phone you are running on.
If your phone doesn't appear as compatible on the play store you could try to run it with qooapp their apks are from the playstore so you can either update from the play store or qooapp itself.
The Nox blog has a pretty easy to follow tutorial on how to set up keys.
You can map all 3 taps + rush combo as well as dodge to any direction if you want to on a d-pad in the game controller, that is how I set it up.
Yo do I have the perfect app for you, you can translate in real time as you're playing the game with this app I use it for Ryu ga gokutu online and it helps

Lol, I got the idea from the people in discord. I kinda wanna put Mona on everything now .
I used DU recorder to screen record, and stitch it with an app called video collage.

Somehow thru the double conversion, it maintained the 60fps from the recording.
The J3 Star's SoC is a low end one. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Samsung-Exynos-7570-Quad-SoC-Benchmarks-and-Specs.240082.0.html
Chances are pretty good his tablet has a better chip than his phone -- the phone sets the bar really low. It's comparable to what a random mid-low end Acer phone from 2015 used. https://www.gsmarena.com/acer_liquid_z530-7526.php
Generally speaking, Samsung tends to cheap out on the hardware specs for their phones outside of their flagship Galaxy S series and Note series. For a given price point, competitors often have better specs. Samsung's only good point for their non-flagship stuff IMO is it's easy to find accessories (e.g. screen protectors, cases...etc.) for them
QooApp should have the updated APK soon enough, they are usually pretty fast when it comes to this but guess emergency maint threw them off a bit since it ended earlier than usual.
If you can't wait you can d/l the apk from APK Pure.
Check with the Antutu Benchmark and see under device info if your OS is 64-bit.
The JP ver only supports 64-bit devices and currently none of the emulators work with it, so Nox won't work at all with this game. They have stated that they are already working a 64-bit emulator but will take time.
Woops didn't check my chat window so sorry bout that.
D/L the antutu benchmark and check the info and see if your Android OS version is 64-bit.
From a simple google search I see that your version of the mate 8 has an upgrade to at least Android 7 so you could try that and see if it works.
I would d/l the antutu benchmark and see if the tablet has a 64-bit OS.
You can also search it in the amazon appstore, should be there as well.
You can use the Antutu Benchmark to see if you device is 64-bit, just check under "my device." You can delete the app after that.
>So what is the deal with this 64 bit app thing?
Google asks all developers to have a 64 bit ver of the app along with the 32 bit ver one. SQEX pretty much says eff that and decides to drop support for 32 bit.
Since you didn't specify which phone/OS you have, the latest version update of the JP client made it so that Android only 64-bit devices work on it. 32-bit support has been scrapped altogether.
You can try the Antutu benchmark and see if your device is 64-bit compatible. Just check under "my device" - you can delete right after.
Did you download the right bluestacks version? It needs to be the Android 64 bit architecture
Secondly you can use QooApp - just go to the web browser on Bluestacks and type the website https://apps.qoo-app.com/en/app/880 and it'll d/l the apk which you can install then search for the game.
If you are using Android make sure it is ver 2.10.2.
You can also use QooApp, I find it easier to manage with that app.
Android or IOS?
For android you just have to manually download the installation file.
You can use Qooapp which is basically a play store for games without region lock.

I'd like to add to this -- in the event that dragging does nothing for you (no error message even, like absolutely no reaction); you need to click on the APK button of Nox which should be somewhere on the tool tab on the right (usually where the macro function, video recorder etc. are). Choose the apk you downloaded and open it, then just run Anamnesis and follow the usual steps when updating any game.
Just enable the controller (controller icon on the lower right side by default) and then set up keybindings
Hey so u can do it on the current event for weekend too. But on the second stage instead of the third. It seems like sharpshooter is the best because u can stand far away and not get stunned. Btw I made an amino (amino app) for star Ocean so that ppl could communicate better, u could stop by and find a party to get the title. It’s got two ppl now but if more ppl join it will be better! Anyways I’ll party with u to get the title too. http://aminoapps.com/invite/SYC5AIA37D
Which update version of Android 10 are you running? Is the phone rooted or not? Did you perhaps leave USB debugging on inside developer mode?
It could also be a safetynet failure which you can check with the safetynet test app to see if it is working as intended. Some games really don't like if the device is rooted and just close by themselves when detected.
Not really the same thing but VP: Lenneth was ported to Android a few months ago. It's the PSP version so its missing a couple features of the PSX version but essentially the same game. It doesn't have near as many reviews as the FF ports on Google Play but this does make it somewhat relevant to 2018 in general.
