They can work on the actual system (Wii, DS, etc.) if you install custom firmware (link specific for 3DS but most Nintendo systems have their own versions, I can help if needed), or if you get something like an R4 card (I don’t think anyone ever developed one for the 3DS, just DS and I think the GBA, not positive though). Otherwise you’ll need to get an emulator to play the modded game.

Yeah Friends of Mineral Town is the remake for one of their much older games which had the very baby like chibi style, so they kind of kept that style, which made the bachelors look off putting. I'm glad they added Gray, he at least kind of had a mature look to him.

And yeah, I totally get you. honestly there's not much to Ralph besides his looks, so I'm hoping he's interesting in game. If not him in definitely going for uh...I forget his name, but he's the leather jacket tsundere. Tough, scary looking guys who are secretly softies are my weakness. Though for me it's a bonus if they actually are big, beefy, scary, and not conventionally attractive. But I'd guess that wouldn't sell well for an SoS game 😂

In the anime he's from (yotsuiro biyori, cute slice of life anime about four handsome dudes running a Japanese cafe, highly recommend), he's a tall, intimidating guy that people are well.... intimidated by. But he's self conscious about it and iirc he's a journalist who happily goes to cafes and reviews sweets (been a while since I watched, so the story might not be accurate). I fell in love with him right away. 😭 One of my favorite characters in the show.

Ah okay. That confused me since it doesn't mention the name in English on that page. It has "Kadokawa" as the publisher and just that it has 624 pages rather than Famitsu. The one SOS paperback I have also has like 600-something pages but it's not like the one I'm trying to describe.

I just mean like the interior pages. The main SOS one I like of three that I bought has full colour and good quality content with cute comics spread throughout it and stuff like that. While this other thing I bought was just a huge book with tons of writing in it with game screenshots rather than the kind of stuff I was seeking out (example, artwork of characters, comics, stickers or something that came inside it, this one section has Raeger on the page and it mentions all of the food we could get at his restaurant, etc), but I kept it anyway since it was Story of Seasons related. Like, this is the one I bought that I liked a few years ago:

Thank you so much. The little controller is called 8Bitdo Zero, which I got from Amazon. It is fully functional, though admittedly it is missing the ZL and ZR buttons. It can work for games that don't use those. 8Bitdo also has a slightly bigger version of this controller (called the Lite) but they only have it in turquoise and yellow.
