I've had some fun with Galactic Clicker, but it's quite short: http://www.kongregate.com/games/ceptri/galactic-clicker
ClickerHeroes is fun but a little to much micromanagement.
I've tried Sandcastle Builder http://castle.chirpingmustard.com/ but its very complex, no game for me to just play from time to time.
Depending on what you're looking for specifically, /r/ClickerHeroes might be up your alley. There are plenty of others on Steam and Kongregate depending on your fancy, games like http://www.kongregate.com/games/HyperHippoGames/adventure-capitalist for instance.
I've most likely taken one of the most extended times per ascension. This last one has been bizarrely long. I don't even HAVE an energy cost to ascend anymore. This is my 19, so I decided to push it harder than ever:

As you can see my mutagen upon reset will be somewhere in the e400 range. (I'm just finishing my set up. Will build more mutagen in next few days, but I did do about 20K worth of building mutagen so far.)
As you can also see even with such extreme slow playing my mutagen is barely pushing into the e400 range. I don't think a lot further than this is even possible. If anyone hit e420 with 20 ascensions even with the full time SwarmSim has been available I'd be surprised.
>If I recall correctly (I might not – it’s been a while since coding this part!), the pattern is something like: > >Meat(t) = DroneProduction * (DroneCount * (t^1)/1! + > >QueenProduction * (QueenCount * (t^2)/2! + > >NestProduction * (NestCount * (t^3)/3! + > >GQueenProduction * (GQueenCount * (t^4)/4! + > >…etc. … > >)))) > >t is time logged off in seconds > >(This is how calculus classes help you in the real world)

Except for starting 6 days late, and accidentally spending all my p1 on p2 once, my play should've been near optimal.
I doubt anyone legit is more than an order of magnitude of p1's ahead of me.
If you right click on a tab link in Firefox for "Open Link in New Tab" it duplicates the game. I didn't realize for several minutes that it was running two different games until I was like "LOLWTF, didn't I do that upgrade already?" Did some checking, and yup, two different games that weren't talking to each other.
TL;DR: Firefox does it already, no extensions needed
(I think... I'm running ABP, Privacy Badger (highly recommended, BetterPrivacy (which deletes LSOs so despite all its attempts to safeguard it, my swarm evaporates instantly the moment I close Firefox) and NoScript, which has an exception for Swarmsim)
