Also, if you're wondering about courses, pick up a copy of the Counter Course handbook from the SRC (online: http://issuu.com/srcpubs/docs/countercourse2015/1) It's students writing about their faculties with subjects to select and avoid. I wrote Philosophy.
3rd edition is here: https://libgen.is/search.php?req=Introduction+to+Econometrics+Dougherty&open=0&res=25&view=simple&phrase=1&column=def
4th and 5th editions don't appear to exist anywhere obvious.
What he/she said above.
Also, if you can, you should read the Counter-Course guide by the SRC. Basically its a rundown of surveys from students about their course. It can be a bit skewed since some students don't do their surveys. But it'll offer you a different perspective.

I'm very well aware of what's happening with Fisher - I watch the new stuff happening there like a hawk.

Someone recently asked about the textbook for intro to film studies. This is an amazon link to it https://www.amazon.com/Film-Art-Introduction-David-Bordwell/dp/1259534952 . I heard that the QR code is causing some trouble, but they are trying to fix it ASAP. You can just go to Google Play and download the Elements Event Portal from there. The app lets you chat to other commencing science students, has a live chat helpline to ask questions of staff members, and sends notifications of upcoming orientation programs.
