I keep losing them because I take the pin out, use it, put it down and - it's gone. Of course, I should put it right back into its place but sometimes it's dark and I'm lazy - or a combination of the two.
Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027IW2CW
I like the suspended clips for mine. It's as deep as can be when it's hanging there...
Best for me are the small Keychain suspension clips Clip Hooked to the pocket it holds the knife nicely in place and does not distract while using the knife.
I got it on Amazon. Something like this.
I have the same problem with all of my medium sided and up Victorinox tools. The 93mm Alox ones seem the worst. I have asked around, and I think it's just normal. I keep my nails trimmed, so a couple of my new Alox tools are sitting unused.
I used a little synthetic oil on my Super Tinker, and it helped a little. This: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UKUHXK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
I also opened and closed every tool on it many times making sure the lubricant worked its way in. I'm sure just the opening and closing a lot helped too.
I used one of these to pry off the original scales:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NCFIVH4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
To put the new ones on, I just carefully aligned both new scale holes to the posts (I dont know the official terms) and gave them firm pressure with my hands. To make sure they were seated well, I put it on its side on my desk and carefully pressed down with the palm of my hand. It looks and feels completely attached... I guess time will tell.
I highly recommend the Keysmart clip. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the Swiss Qlip. I put it on my Tinker Deluxe and it rubs against the scales every time I open the cap lifter/large flathead. Maybe I put it on too tight or maybe it just does that with the Deluxe Tinker...I don't know. Also, it makes it difficult to access the tweezers. All that said, it functions as a clip quite well. And it doesn't get in the way when using the knife.
The scissors on the Victorinox Evogrip models are self sharpening if you are interested in taking a look at them.
Also great for pressing tiny reset buttons!
I ended up getting this amazing replacement parts kit for my knives. So handy.
You can buy replacement toothpicks and tweezers on Amazon for cheap. I just put two tweezers in mine since I never use the toothpick.
BTW, no phillips screwdriver? What are you, a drunken barbarian? {jk}
You have to pop the round circle part on the end of the spring back into the similarly-shaped hole at the base of the scissors. A pair of pliers is very handy for that
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3WF9HMwx8M
And it looks like part of that circle broke off? If so, you need a new spring. You can buy 5 of them on Amazon for 5 bucks. https://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-VIC-38408-Scissor-Spring-Small/dp/B0031PHOFK/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=victorinox+scissor+spring&qid=1590443665&sr=8-3
Titanium suspension clips are pretty decent. Personally, I am a big fan of a fishhook style suspension clip called the "Dangler" by KeySmart (the small one, not the XL). Technically, it was made for the belt loop on your trousers, but it works just as well for your pocket, so I think it has an advantage over ye ol' traditional suspension clip option.
This is what they look like.
My fav is the Hercules - it is just about in the price range and has everything but a file. While it is the larger size it is really usable and has 2 Phillips screwdrivers and 2 flatheads. I use it all the time for everything.
https://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Swiss-Champ-Pocket-Knife/dp/B0001GS19U/ref=sr_1_4 Amazon shows me a Swiss Champ discounted to $69 Optional add a Rambler for $29 and you get an amazing combo https://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Swiss-Rambler-Pocket-Knife/dp/B000FNFXQS/ref=sr_1_1_sspa
You can still get it but its pretty expensive. I just picked this up two days ago from this same link for $43. Supposed to be delivered today. I have been following this link for a few months and the price changes literally every hour. At one point it was $90 so when i saw it at $43 i grabbed it. I would grab it now because i bet it will be over $70 by the end of the day today.
Yes. I recently bought a Manager as an alternative to my usual Rambler and it came with the tweezers installed and a toothpick in the box.
The Rambler is a great option though and you could pair it with a stand-alone mini flashlight. I pair my black Rambler (you can get different colored scales using the Personalize option on the Victorinox site) with an Olight I1R 2 Pro, similar to this post (the flashlight in this post is a precursor to the I1R 2 Pro).
I have not tried the Victorinox one, but the one I ended up buying after researching was this similar one from Topeak which has been great: Topeak Ratchet Rocket Lite
I used to carry the signature lite on my keychain. That light is super useful until you want to illuminate something you want to use one of the pen knife's tools to do. It was a funny moment of "oh of course I can't use the light and and knife at the same time." I moved to carrying a small led flashlight on my keychain instead. As you know you get splinters, I'd opt for the manager.
The Victorinox Traveller Lite Multi-Tool, currently sold out on Amazon, is made of ruby transparent polyamide, which is what the Ecoline scales are made of.

I have a very large collection of Victorinox SAKs and the Cybertool M has been my "go-to" EDC for over 5 years now. I can promise you that it is not too large, cumbersome, or uncomfortable to carry every day.
I attached an UltraTac keychain pocket clip to the key ring. It rides very comfortably in my front pocket and I forget it it is even there. To be fair, I mostly wear jeans and Khakis.
The only time I do not EDC my Cybertool M is on the rare occasions when I wear suit-pants, in which case I carry the Victorinox Compact.
It's a cheapo copy, probably not the best quality. If you want to support the original product it's actually around the same price but the quality will probably be slightly better.
that's way too big for a bike multi tool and doesn't have the big size hex wrenches tho. also I recommend torque sleeves
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XSH9SQG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
this is el cheapo but super easy to use. torques out with a bang and won't break your components
I like the corkscrew for the mini screwdriver if nothing else, but just so you know Victorinox does sell a set of other tools for the corkscrew, including a small Phillips, flathead (like you’ve got), small torx bit (fits those tiny little screws that hold my ridge wallet and my metal phone case together), and a SIM ejector tool (which is also the perfect size for the pins in watch bracelets).
I personally carry a flashlight around the size of the olight in this photo, usually either a roryvon e300sl, zebralight or d4v2, but if you don't think that you will use your flashlight often just grab one of these. https://www.amazon.com/Olight-Rechargeable-Keychain-Battery-Charging/dp/B0814MDZKP/ref=sr_1_9?crid=ERDSO19LEQO6&keywords=olight+eos&qid=1652939688&sprefix=olight+eos%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-9
roryvon also makes comparable products in titanium / with uv options.
I use my flashlight very often walking at night or looking for stuff in cracks. But also just a "what if I end up being out at night for some reason" sorta thing, like if I end up having to look for a coworkers dog. never know where the night will take me. More often what happens is I just lend it to the gf to read with
It looks like a typical pocket clip like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018IN1OXM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_YGYMFFQCJFSRT4JK7PQN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That was attached with some form of adhesive to the scale.
The foldable kitchen or butter knifes are awesome. We use them for lunch breaks, camping, bicycle tours etc. They are super practical and easy to resharpen. Alsso available with serrated blade..
https://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Classic-Foldable-Paring-Straight/dp/B08FC6CYK7
If you’re looking for a good sheath to carry it and protect it, I just got this one for my Champ and it fits perfectly.
This is a old model that's not made anymore but victorinox has this one and I think a couple other models available...
Victorinox Swiss Army Serrated Spartan Pocket Knife (57152) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009LOTAX4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_8PXNMPK1PWVXFNZD93QB
this is in the small size range but it is alox & Phillips with scissors
With the metal saw on it, on the metal file. It works! Here's a small sample of me still practising that with my Ranger.
I had this kind of set up on that heavy wooden antique door, and I managed to saw through one of those iron chain links. 😇
so a simple box like this will not be enough I guess?
There are TSA friendly Swiss Army tools. There is also a Leatherman without a knife. Be prepared as the TSA agents will likely pull all of the tools out and check to make sure there is no knife.

you can get them in different colors, I like to change out my small SAK every few days because I have a few. And I keep a tiny flashlight on the clip part so I can take it off if I want to charge it.
I have a Pioneer X damast, which is really cool, but the limited edition 2020 Alox Cadet is my favorite.
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Business-Creative-Accessories-Folding/dp/B07L551BX6
novelty blades, but fun. My DIL wanted one and they come in 2 packs, so I have the spare.
amazing link
In europe it is available. I don't find those at a us-seller: https://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-VIC-33549-Keychain-Coupler/dp/B001CZHOMY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=victorinox+coupler&qid=1624725386&sprefix=victorinox+cou&sr=8-1
Not OP but I have one. Just a little too big to be comfortable bouncing around in my pocket. But I got a cheap clip for it and these things make it super easy to pocket carry.
Damn, nice collection, I got this case on Amazon, here.
Large Pocket Knife Storage Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CZBFHE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2E5FMZNGMZCPRN7DSY3Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Nice mod, I didnt know the cybertool driver wasnt magnetized from the factory. Have you considered using something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Wiha-40010-Magnetizer-or-Demagnetizer/dp/B00018AONE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=magnetizer&qid=1617433015&sr=8-3
Been rocking this for a couple months now, and it's a keeper.
Just add a Ranger Band to a Swiss Card and you have a 'Swiss Army Wallet.'
Wallets nice and thin, looks cool, and this configuration keeps all the tools of the Swiss Card readily accessible.
Would adding the micro screwdriver to it help?I’m guessing it won’t change it much but you never know.
Deluxe Tinker might have been a better choice for you.
Where are you? UK Victorinox has them for sale.
https://www.victorinox.com/uk/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Knives/Large-Pocket-Knives/Work-Champ/p/0.8564
As does our Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorinox-Unisexs-Champ-Pocket-Knife/dp/B06XD5G5YZ/ref=sr_1_2 for 2/3rd of Victorinox's price.
You can also buy a victorinox wrench and carry it with a set of Letherman bits, so basically you get more capable set for a little bit more money.
I carry this combo with Spirit.
Wrench, not available at the moment, but it is around $30 CAD https://www.amazon.ca/Victorinox-Swisstool-Replacement-Wrench-Multi-Tool/dp/B000MF45KO
Bit kit $24 USD https://www.leatherman.com/bit-kit-set-127.html
That rotating belt clip is attached to the sheath that comes with the Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit XC (3.0227.L1) sold in India. I think one can buy it separately. The exact model number of just that sheath is 4.0822.L1. Victorinox makes good rotating belt clips on the sheaths that do have it. I can upload a short video of just that if you want. I have that clip on another sheath meant for 91 mm models as well, model number 4.0521.31 .
I was a bit wary when I got the pioneer X, since it also doesn't have the small blade. But it turns out the inline awl works for everything I use a pen blade for, and does more besides. Total win.
If you want to carry the pioneer like a modern folder with a pocket clip, look into one of these
The comments on Amazon for the XAVT are always a fun read.
Wondering what my knife has been doing the last few hours sitting on the counter...did it fix the garbage disposal, adjust the wiggle on the dining room table, or replace a broken cabinet hinge? I should go check.

Looks like there is a Red Pioneer on Amazon, although it will cost you quite a bit more for it:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0001P0AI6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
Would this be a good one? I kinda do not want to pay more for the smaller victorinox one.
I’m super fond of the TEC P-7 suspension clips. I keep one on my Pioneer X, my Leatherman Knifeless Rebar for work, and whatever other EDC I’m feeling like at the time. They are more expensive than your average suspension clip, but they’re especially good quality. They take adjustment to the clamping force with a pair of needle nose pliers very well, and don’t show any wear. I think the stainless steel ones look better, but it is a bead-blasted and therefore very much matte finish.
If you order the two-pack, you get some very nice quick-release clips to go along with them (not included if you buy a single). I find that unnecessary for my SAK, since the key rings on Vics are easy on/off, but I do use one on my Leathermans.
You can have saved in memory up to 4 different time zones and swap between them with ease. On a top of that it has a tiny world map where you can also flick through all the time zones but this is bit more cumbersome.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0099M2IQY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dSuoFbK06PF1C
There;s an Amazon link to what i use for every knife i own and it works great and a bottle that big will literally last forever.
I'm assuming you mean clip? I use this one when I don't have a watch pocket (change pocket). It's more expensive than most pocket suspension clips, but it also works better, so whatever. I have both colors (I also use them on my Leathermans, so I like to have a bunch for shorts weather), the stainless steel looks nicer with the Alox.
If you order the two-pack, they also send you a couple quick-release dealies, but I find the built-in small keyring on the Pioneer X is easy enough to remove things from if I'm in a situation where it's annoying, and having one on there makes the chain a little long.
Worth getting the two-pack, because I'm sure you'll find uses for more of them, and the quick-release clips are better than most cheap ones on Amazon.
You'll probably need to stretch it out for anything other than dress pants. Needle-nose pliers work fine, and adjusting it for different thicknesses of pocket material hasn't weakened it any in the time I've been using it.
I got this neat little book off of amazon. Most of it is far more advanced then I'd ever try, but it also has some good starter info.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/156523877X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
By initial look, that might be the Huntsman Ii made with Nylon scales instead of the usual shiny stuff. Is it missing the hole under the corkscrew where a pin would usually go?
As for toothpick and tweezers you can find them on Amazon or Victorinox sells them on their site.
As far as storage, I use a spyderco knife bag like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-400096-Spyderpac-Small-SP2/dp/B001EICUEG
I hang it up in the closet and choose each day what to grab, but for the last six months it's been a SAK Climber.
I would go with the third one.
Personally I use this
I didn't buy it. Snapped this in a store. Too bad they don't offer something higher quality! I guess this one is better? http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Pocket-Knife-Sharpener-Black/dp/B000AR7AKG/
Surprised to hear that Vic blades are considered "soft steel".
If you want something for basic EDC stuff, get the Farmer and a P-7 Suspension clip.
Off topic but I don't want to pass up the opportunity, do you know if a cybertool lite fit well in one of these? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B70UP6?ref_=pe_623860_70668520
(if not one of those.. do you have any nice leather pouches you could suggest?)
