Might be the pads of your toes bunching up against your footpad.
Try using toe socks as liners and see if it helps.
Honestly they cannot make these anymore as I have had them for an age. Walking, sailing and kayaking they have been awesome. Kinda like these. I have a vent shoe pair too, which have also worn well.
If you like to cook, Shalane Flanagan and another runner who became a nutritionist have cookbooks out that have many vegetarian and vegan recipes. They are designed with athletes in mind and address energy, digestion, and recovery. I have the three books and use them all the time.
Resistance bands are great! I like Joe Holder's Exercside Snacks on IG. He's also plant-based. They are all HIIT "exercise snacks" using bodyweight, bands, and jump rope. I use them for warmups. His thing is "making movement and movement every day." I also like kettlebell and use HASfit (Heart and Soul fitness) on YouTube sometimes. Yoga with Adriene on YouTube is a long-time favorite for me as well and I do that almost every day. As I said, I'm a lot older than you but this is important for injury prevention and mobility for all ages. It's a little bit of move it or lose it.
I have worn these for a few years now. They fit my no-show needs.

Its in Oviedo, Asturias, north of Spain. Monte Naranco (mount Naranco) , there are different tracks in the area, forest, pass to farms, bicycles. The mountain is not very high, 636 meters, but the slope is important and the area with Atlantic forest (deciduous) allows the ascent in the shade and with a better landscape than that of roads and auxiliary roads. Yesterday was a clear day, but the surrounding mountains were snowed in and in the afternoon it rained heavily. Thank you for reading me.

I also live in a tiny tiny home (literally less than 500sqft) and bought the perfect treadmill recently. It’s called “serene life” and was 329$ on amazon. It comes with a 1 year warranty but I bought 2 years for like less than $30 from amazon. It’s currently out of stock but it’s worth the wait. The company also has a website you can buy other models that look very similar and they might be on amazon. Their website. It’s VERY high quality, has manual incline settings, easy to fold and move around. This had 5 star reviews on amazon, which is why I bought it. I was looking at other treadmills for under $300 but none had as many reviews(355) as this. This is the one out of stock.
I use THIS digital pedometer to track my steps. It's just $25. Once I know how many steps on a particular walk, I don't take it anymore. But it is great to have in order to realize how much or little you move.
These are the gloves I wear when I'm walking. They seem okay for me in colder weather, but everyone is different. Worth it for the price, and you can always return them if they don't work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VNS77SP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_L3DVFbEMCJ43D?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I also just got these warm compression socks: CHARMKING Compression Socks for Women & Men Circulation 8 Pairs 15-20 mmHg is Best Support for Athletic Running Cycling https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071RRHYJ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BglMFbRVA10J6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I started using Injinjin toe socks as liners a few years back and I've had very little trouble with my toes since. They're not that cheap, but theyre still in good nick even though theyre thin and theyve done a fair bit of mileage.
For regular, daily use walking shoes I finally gave up and realized that if they were comfortable, they wouldn't be durable. The final straw was watching my $120 Nikes fall apart faster than the $20 WalMart specials.
I searched around and found these off-brand shoes for ~$25 They're totally comfortable for both my daily 5 mile walk and other activities. I've even worn them on a seriously gnarly 7-mile hike. (I laundered them in the washing machine afterwards, lol). I'm 6'2", 160 lbs. just to give you some reference point for wear. I bought another pair at the 5-month mark, but still use the old pair for work around the house. Here's what the old pair looks like now -- I bought them six months ago, and they've been through the wash once.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but have you checked out The Walk (by the developers of Zombies, Run)? You basically have to walk the length of the UK.

More than enough time to walk the whole route then.
If the track is muddy or rocky I'd personally wear hiking shoes if they are suitable, I've been running in Salomon XA Pro 3D GTX hiking shoes whilst away from home and they seem to do the job - been wearing them everyday for the last two months running and walking.

Good luck to dog and you.
