I have been drinking the Premier Protein shakes for almost a year now. They are fairly reasonably priced and I can get them at Costco. I like the Chocolate the most.
This is link for the delivery of two cases but you can buy them by the case at any costco. They have Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.
This is a great book

I'm 3 weeks post-op. I can see where you might be put off by by a selling NUT but that's just the way it is these days. My dentist is always trying to sell me something too, but she's a great dentist. My programs NUT did have a large selection of recommended products on display and shopping lists but only sold a few vitamin products. I was in a situation where I wasn't as prepared as I should've been, busy schedule before surgery and I had an opportunity to go a week early. I ran out to the local "Vitamin Shop" and picked up everything i needed for the pre-op and post-op diets in 20 minutes..at full retail prices. Would have been happy if my NUT had sold me all this. I like "Pure Protein" shakes and found Amazon to have the lowest prices. http://www.amazon.com/Pure-Protein-Ready-Drink-Vanilla/dp/B002XULCB6. Also for vitamins you can't beat https://www.opurity.com/bariatric-vitamins. Good luck with your surgery, it's a really amazing process.
My doc mandates calcium citrate, not carbonate, so Viactiv are out. I take the Citracal gummies. They are good! 6 per day equals 1500mg. Sometimes I see them in stores but mostly get them on Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/Citracal-Calcium-Supplement-Gummies-70/dp/B00JA4TOH2/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1492626683&sr=8-1&keywords=citracal+gummies
I bought this glass scale back in 2010 and it's still going strong! It's digital, goes up to 400 pounds and is pretty darn accurate. So glad Amazon remembers purchase history 😃

I bought a ton of 6-8 oz take out containers and make meals in them for the office. If I don’t feel like dealing with it, it’s not a huge deal if I trash it, but I generally use them over and over again.
Essentially these, but amazon has a million options https://smile.amazon.com/Freshware-Food-Storage-Containers-Lids/dp/B008N14UBI/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1543984585&sr=8-2-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=6+oz+plastic+containers+with+lids&psc=1
Try amazon. Here is my fave dress from ~size 16:

It’s like cheap, disposable clothing that still looks cute when it’s new. Stuff that’s sized S/M/L/XL will be a lot more forgiving in terms of fit.
I need crazy amounts of electrolytes. I use the powdered propel, or my program approved these drops. They're flavorless so i can put them in everything. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00EISFBYA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_KG0MDS70RP2M65Z0D58H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Fresh Start Bariatric Cookbook:... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1623157730?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and The Easy 5-Ingredient Bariatric... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1646115724?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share are my 2 go to books. They show you prep and portions for each stage and alter the recipes for each stage as well. I compared them to my meal plans and recommendations from my dietician and they follow those. Fresh start I used more for liquid, puréed, and soft food. But when I get to general diet think I will be using them equally.
Edit: grammar
I set alarms throughout the day to help me remember, with this and the alarms i haven't missed any meds/vitamins.

I’m a big fan of Sistema. Can get them at Target, Amazon, Wegman’s...probably lots of places. These are my favorites. The little clip ones are perfect for a half a chicken breast or salmon fillet or the like. The little cups are perfect for 2 oz tuna salad. There are others but these are the ones I use every day. And they seem more durable than the generic kind.

I drive a lot and I experienced the same thing. Sitting for prolonged periods destroys my back and tail bone now. I think it’s because I have less natural padding. I got this pillow set from Amazon and it was like magic how well it worked. 12+ hours of driving with no breaks and no pain. It’s made of some kind of gel so it holds its shape very well; no smushing down into a useless pancake even after 12 hours.
I bought dumbbells and while I sit here I work out, as I progress my set has grown. I also have bought a set of resistance bands I use all the time.

My birthday is today.
I ended up ordering these things since they aren't too bad on fat or carbs as long as I watch everything else I eat today.
I was on the same thing for about two years. We switched meds at first and that was worse so we went back to the other with a higher dose. Our bodies are just going through so much.
Also, random, but I saw other posts from you about liquids and proteins. Here are some recommendations!
Oakh has a great list for you. I particularly second the food scale, stool softeners, water bottle, chicken broth, and pill planner for vitamins.
I'd like to add that I recommend getting some of these.
They were such a help during recovery, I could pre-measure liquids and blended meals out and keep them in the fridge to grab throughout the day.
I ordered mine through Amazon - but it's from RoadID. It has my name, birth year, my sister and husband's phone numbers in case of emergency, gastric sleeve with month and year of surgery, and no blind NG tube engraved on it. It's slim, black silicone. I like it. I don't know how to post a pic - but here's a link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LVW4YJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very surprised no one has mentioned Syntrax Nectar. Amazon sells a variety pack for $30 usd which would allow you to try all their flavors. I'm picky in general but these taste pretty decent. The protein aftertaste is very tolerable, I've found.
Re your food journal. There is an app, Bariatric Timer, that will count down to your next drink/meal/sip/bite, and give a notification. You can also record notes.
These are plus size and so comfy. No rolling or bunching. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XR6NXJY/
I haven’t found a perfect smaller size range option yet, but these look pretty similar. https://www.amazon.com/wirarpa-Underwear-Chafing-Leggings-Multicolor/dp/B09BZKVC9W
Unmedicated pre-op person here. Honestly, my ADHD has been helping me through this quite a bit, as I have been hyper-focusing on sticking to the pre-op plan. I'm not sure how it'll end up post-op, however.
I have been taking medication and supplements daily for a while now, however. To keep track, I have a block calandar displayed in a prominent place (below my computer monitor) next to my daily medication. I only change the date after I have taken my daily medication/supplements, and having the incorrect date in front of me bothers me just enough that I remember to change it. The main bonus is that I can tell by the date on it when I last remembered to take a dose, as my main issue was struggling to remember whether I'd taken them already or not. Some people just use pill boxes, but I know for a fact that I would forget to fill them, but this has worked for me.
That ultra-conditioning lip balm is awesome! Pricey, but so worth it. We were surprised by how much our lips chapped, even months after surgery.
I would also recommend Millie's Sipping Broth. I'm not big on sweet stuff, and was tired of water, but having that sipping broth allowed me to have flavor.
One thing that may sound weird is a pregancy pillow. My wife and I both used this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B099K7KPM8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It helped us to keep from rolling over on our sore tummies.
Something to get as soon as you think of it: A tape measure. Photos are great, but a tape measure will give you more data...we all love data! We each have one from Renpho Health.
They’re not like stockings, no. They’re just detachable sleeves and most are sheer material so they don’t 100% cover or reshape, but they mask enough to where I personally don’t feel self conscious because at least my excess arm skin isn’t just hanging out in the wind lol. My arms look saggy at certain angles after WL and I knew I wanted them covered, but I didn’t necessarily want to be stuck to exclusively wedding dresses that have long sleeves.
That being said, If you want total coverage and shaping, a long sleeve dress is your best bet. If you’re open to detachable sleeves, there are a lot of options - and not all of them are sheer. One style that is trendy right now is puff sleeves or lantern sleeves, both of which are not sheer. You can find detachable options of those or dresses made that way if that is your style. In general, most bridal shops sell all different kinds of detachable sleeves as accessories but they’re usually somewhat expensive (I have seen anywhere from $100-500 USD) and sometimes they’re by-order-only items meaning they can’t be returned. So, I ordered a whole bunch of different styles on amazon all for around $50 and all returnable (if you do this check they’re returnable and their return policy because some will not be or will charge you shipping for a return).
I ordered this and a few other styles from this particular Amazon listing. They have 30+ different styles to choose from and they’re all returnable so you could always just order to see what suits you and then return and order a similar, more expensive, one from a bridal boutique - Passat Crystals Bridal Sleeve... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B54SNXMS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Etsy also has even more options but they’re slightly more expensive, usually custom made and not returnable.
That body dysmorphia is a C*NT and takes a while to overcome. I’m 10 months post-op. I started at a size 24 jeans and today my size 14 jeans fell down when I ran after my toddler but I feel like I still look like I weigh 340 pounds even if I take a photo of myself. In fact, I didn’t see just how dramatically different I look until my auntie took a photo of me (photo for reference).
Also - you might need a therapist and if you do, there is no shame in it. I thought that I weighed as much as I did because of my PCOS and it wasn’t until 3 weeks post-op when I was still on liquids that I looked in the fridge and wondered where in the name of Zeus’ butthole all of the leftovers were coming from. It turns out that I was eating them and not even realizing it. And then I would WANT to eat despite not feeling any hunger and I always wanted sugar and carbs and that’s when I realized that I had food addiction.
I highly recommend the book “Weight loss surgery does NOT cure food addiction” if you think that you might have food addiction.
Glass baby food jars! I prepped a lot of my puréed stuff and these jars made that very easy. They’re the right size and you can write on the tops of them and erase as needed. Plus, theyre useful after that. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08113SM4X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

She basically measures out 1-2 portions and then freezes the rest for later in these.
These have basically been my new plates lol.
Also a concept I've been working with is, no longer eating to be full. You don't have to fill up, you're just looking to eat until you're not hungry. That happens way sooner than you realize, take 6 bites and ask yourself if you're still hungry. You're gonna say yeah I still want to eat, from habit, or boredom, or whatever, but are you hungry is the question.
I graze a lot more now. I still eat meals; but if I'm hungry I just eat a banana or an apple. It's ok to snack, and post-op is the only time I've ever really properly snacked in my life. Before I just ate additional meals lol, but now yeah it's actually possible. A banana holding me over for like 2 hours? Insane concept. 5 chicken nuggets and half a cup of mixed veggies? Pretty big meal!
Think like a kid again lol. I eat like I'm back in 4th grade. PBJ and Banana for lunch at 11:30 and then at 2ish I have an apple or yogurt, then I have another hilariously kiddy meal at like 5 lol. If you have young kids, just prep another portion after making theirs. It's probably about the right amount for you too!
This is the scale I got 4 years ago and still going strong: Digital Kitchen Scale / Food... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JTDG084?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I’ve have to change the batteries once or twice and that’s it.
I have had luck with a quantum scale when dealing with an ED in the past, which you weigh on once (it won’t show you your weight) and then every time you weigh after that, it only shows you the difference between what you weigh and the first weigh in. Really helpful to focus on how far you’ve come and not be obsessed with the actual number on the scale.
Planning ahead is great! I was nervous, too, at the onset of the liquid diet. It kind of made the whole thing real.
I ate a lot of sugar free popsicles. I also really liked Millie's Sipping Broth: https://www.amazon.com/Sipping-Broth-Vegetables-Seasonings-Intermittent/dp/B092G33K5Z/
As for the hospital, I wore a long comfy dress because I already have sensory issues with things touching my stomach. I was discharged same day, so I needed almost nothing. I even took my CPAP machine and they didn't use it.
Hospital gave me one but after reading through many people's experiences a lot didn't get one. But the one I got was like This belt.
I woke up from surgery with it on and used it for a good couple weeks. I'm a slow healer and it helped a lot/
I was required to take an emotional eating class to help with comfort eating, as you call it. It was super helpful, but I still struggle with it in some ways. I eat when I am bored or when I am overwhelmed, so I know that. I just have trouble addressing it in a healthy way. They recommended a book to read and it was good.
I see it on Amazon. Looks like it may take a while to get it, but you can at least order it while you are still looking for it.

The reasons I love it: It fits perfectly in my backpack purse, so it goes with me everywhere. It's clear so I can see my progress, I just need two fills per day. It's easy to clean. It flips up with a straw, but I don't have issues with straws. Some docs say no, so just be aware. And the color of the bottle is just super eye pleasing, so it makes me happy. Oh, I've dropped it a bunch and it hasn't broken! Lol. No leaks.
You’re welcome! Most of us got here using food as a coping mechanism when we have inner issues/ problematic pasts, and we have to work through that if we want to keep the weight off and not go back to old coping skills. There is one other book that is really helpful in looking at past traumas, I don’t know anyone that hasn’t found it helpful in understanding how our past impacts us every day.
https://www.amazon.com/Body-Keeps-Score-Healing-Trauma/dp/0143127748
I understand that. I lost friends because I was no longer eating and drinking the way they were, I realized they were only interested in someone that fed into their own food addiction. I went back to school after I had my surgery for social work and learned a lot about addiction and codependency. If you don’t mind me giving you a recommendation, there are a couple of great books that might help.
I am pre-op VSG revision to DS and in a fb group I saw these and they had positive feedback

I would start weighing everything! And enter it in grams instead of oz just so that you can be sure that whatever app you're using hasn't mixed up volume and weight. Nutrition labels for solid foods will be by weight.

I enjoy iced lemon water so I use these.

Don’t forget to check with your pharmacist first as not all pills can be ground up. Generally, if there is a score mark on the pill it can be crushed. And XL or ER pills usually can’t be crushed.
I use the Bentgo one and eat a fair amount, but hardly use the top layers or both side squares. I am thinking of downsizing to Wagindd box, if that helps any.
Took the words out of my mouth. Obviously treating the current issue is paramount but for prevention I’m a big fan of a hair dryer set to cool. Afterwards I like Lady Anti Monkey Butt.
(Sorry, my message wasn't up yet when you replied to the question)
I went through a divorce this past year and it takes a long time to work through that. I have been feeling my feelings and working to recover, but during this time I haven't lost weight. My focus has been more on keeping me going every day and not just hiding in a dark corner of my house. I have kept myself busy at work and picking up extra hours to cover bills and keep myself from sitting at home along in a dark room stuffing my face every weekend. With the loss of my wife, I had really lost my only person outside of my family that I ever really spoke to. I have no friends and I am now 40 years old and really don't seem to have much opportunity to make new ones. I keep wanting to try things through Meetup.com but they always seem to be ending at the same time I am to be able to get off of work.
Work also isn't a great place to try and build any friendships, as I work one on one with my clients and rarely see other staff of any kind from my company.
My favorite one is this. It's super cute. I love the colors! I fill it once a month and put tomorrow's box in my lunch bag. It forces me to plan what's tomorrow's lunch. I also play a little mental game with myself and as I finish a day, I put the empty container in upside down and give myself a reward at the end of the month if I clear them all. 30 day organizer
On one side I put my two calcium chews, and the other side I use for multivitamin, iron, B12, Omeprazole, and biotin. It holds a lot!

Episode 34 of the Weightloss Surgery Podcast, hosted by Reeger Cortell answered the question about what made the difference with surgery. Equate Isolate Whey Protein Powder from Walmart (chocolate and vanilla) used to be my go….before the surgery. My stomach can’t handle the creamy shakes. Now, I go for the clear protein drinks. Isopure Infusions, Refreshingly Light Fruit Flavored Whey Protein Isolate Powder (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FHPGS4V) is my current favorite. The berry and tropical flavors are my favorite.

I have gone through two multi brands and have HATED them both. I have my 1 month post op appointment today, praying I get approved for capsules. Wish me luck!
I can’t stomach normal protein shakes after VSG either. There are bariatric soups, bone broth, or mix the unflavored powder into (decaf) coffee….there is also protein gatorade, clear protein drinks and my personal favorite Isopure Infusions powder. It is on Amazon and I think available at GNC. You will need a shaker bottle to mix it well. My favorite flavors are mixed berry and tropical punch
I’ve been seeing my counselor since June and it definitely helps. Talking through what my triggers are and staying within tolerable limits. It’s probably always going to be a challenge for me though. One of the things that was really helpful for me was an exercise prioritizing values. I beat myself up for not living up to others expectations and defining my own values really helped take the pressure off for me. I’m not a failure because I’m not doing what my mom thinks I should be doing. I’m living up to my own values not hers.
Also, from her recommendation I just bought a workbook on body image and we are going to start working through it. This is the one she recommended to me. Ricotta bake.
I invested in six, 6oz ramekin dishes with lids from Amazon. Mix 4oz of low or fat free ricotta cheese plus seasoning and I Tbs Parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl. So if I’m making 4 ramekins I’ll use 1 cup ricotta and 4 tbs Parmesan cheese and seasonings in a bowl. Stir by hand and fill the 4 ramekins evenly. Top each ramekin with about 1 Tbs of pasta sauce. Set on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. It’s low fat, high protein and high in calcium for about 200 calories. It’s like lasagna without pasta. It’s great for any time and you can make you portions larger based on what size ramekins you buy .
I have quest and flex, definitely like the quest better. I get mine on Amazon. I also love Healthwise - Protein Krinkles, High Protein Snack Food for Weight Loss - 12 Grams of Protein, 130 Calories, Lactose Free, Kosher Certified (Dill Pickle, 7 Bags) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08W9NN2WV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2NF6R1MGM635GVHHS3SG those are definitely my favorite.
Right. But I’m sure you’re weighing that risk against the risk of dying in your sleep from not using the CPAP. I’m in the same situation and bought the filter that’s supposed to mitigate the risk. I really like Kay's Honey Almond Protein Cereal. To me it tastes really close to Honey Nut Cheerios.
Catalina Crunch Cereals are okay but they have a pretty strong artificial sweetener taste. I've tried the chocolate banana and honey graham flavors. I prefer to add this cereal to Greek yogurt over just eating a bowl of just cereal.
You also might want to check out r/WLS_Food. I've seen a few posts with cereal and oatmeal there.

In the hospital they gave me hormel protein shots. Tasted absolutely horrible but a lot of protein for a little shot. After surgery I was having problems getting my protein so dietician suggested doing those again but the thought of drinking those still make me gage so instead we decided I do Global Health Products LiquaCel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JG06F7C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share , now drinking it straight is horrible but I got grape flavored protein 2o water and put a shot in there once a day and I was hitting my protein goals no problem, lots of ice and watered down also helped so it was an all day drink. I only had to do this a few weeks. Talk to your dietician if you want to go down this route.
I also added unflavored protein powder to any soups and sauces, even if it was a quarter of a scoop that is still added protein.
"Crystalline" is apparently the old-school term for cyanocobalamin, which is a fairly common form of vitamin B12 in supplements.
I took this sublingual supplement pre-op to treat a B12 deficiency and my bloodwork showed it worked. It appears to be cyanocobalamin.
My favorite is premier clear tropical punch. Protein 2o is okay as well I usually did the grape and then added Global Health Products LiquaCel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JG06F7C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share when I was struggling to get my protein in, I’d talk to your dietician or doctor first before doing that. The first month I had to water them down and add lots of ice but now I can drink them straight from the bottle.
Many people in my support group swear by this Nature's Bounty Optimal Solutions Advanced Hair, Strawberry, 200 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085JDD3V8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AZD6H5H9F6XS9QQJJ1GB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 . I’ve been taking it, 2 gummies a day and 2 month post op. I have not noticed hair loss, I also get my protein goals almost everyday. One of the ladies also takes this and another one on top of that but don’t remember what.
I started with Garden of Life Organic Fiber which worked great, but it's a powder, and the whole process of mixing it was getting kind of tedious so I just bought some Benefiber gummies. I hope they work as well, if not I will be going back to the Garden of Life.
I mixed the fiber powder with Body Armour Lite Peach-Mango in our nutribullet. I figure with summer coming, and having a few camping trips coming up I wanted something I didn't have to mix. The gummies just seemed easier.
I have this one.. It is reliable, but it also seems to store your most recent weight and display it again if you’re close (half pound?). Good advice already, that trends are the most important thing to track. I’m trying to get back in the habit of weighing only once a week, same day and time. It’s tempting to keep checking, though, I admit.
Man, I tried so many.... But Whey isolate should t be too hard to find. I landed on Bluebonnet protein powder and was the most palatable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CQ7PW2G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_2DST9EN5Z063AGC7G9J4
I used this cream. Progesterone Cream (Bioidentical) 4oz Pump of 2000mg USP Bio-Identical Progesterone. Paraben-Free, Soy-Free & Non-GMO. May Support PCOS, Menopause, TTC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EB0AQA4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_D9FSF0R9R6YJX8HFBNQ6
You rub the cream on your inner arms twice a day. You normally would start it 2 weeks after your period starts (at ovulation) and stop when your period begins but since you're just continually bleeding, the recommendation I've read is to start with a double or triple dose for a few weeks (even after bleeding stops) then stop the cream to trigger another period and hopefully you'll bled a normal length that time and you can either just leave it that and hope the problem is fixed or do another round (or however many you feel you need) from ovulation to period start to further balance the estrogen out. I honestly have no idea if you should just ditch your birth control during this time. Feel free to ask any questions but of course I'm not a professional or anything.
Most clinics won't do over a BMI of 50. That said you don't need to lose 120lbs to get there.
I used USN Dietfuel Ultralean 4 a day for 6 weeks. Lost 60lbs. Had 1 cheat meal a week (and I didn't mess around with my cheat meal)
I had my WLS in Lithuania. European equivalent of TJ. Cost me £6000 ($8500) Inc flights and a week in a suite in a nice hotel (Park Inn by Radisson)
As of this morning I've lost 154lbs! Do it. Invest in yourself. Depending on TJ prices don't rule out a flight to Europe. This is my clinic. If its going to cost $10k or more its got to be worth a look even for the hot Eastern European nurses.

I use these
They taste like a generic version of starburst, plus they already have the vitamin C in them so you don't have to take two different supplements
I used an attachment for a handheld blender. Something like this but reasonably priced. https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KHBBV83BM-Cordless-Variable-Attachment/dp/B08P2FNL36/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=kitchenaid+hand+blender+attachments&qid=1615557315&sr=8-1
I (28F, VSG 7/20) take Bariatric Choice One-A-Day vitamins that have 45 mg of iron each. My iron levels also came back low-ish for my 6 month check-up so I supplement with a 60 mg iron tablet from ye olde Target every other day.
Both doing really well. Our surgeon is called Prof. Almatas Maleckas. He's performed over 6000 surgeries. I've lost about 7st Mrs has lost about 6.5st. I'm 7 weeks PO lost about 30lbs I did 7 weeks of LRD. I lived on this. 4 shakes a day. 800 cals. I was never hungry. Works a charm. I was (am still) very obese so needed to do LRD for longer but the weight is falling off now. I'm lighter than I've ever been. Been tracking my weight for over 10 years on my fitness pal. We're both feeling good. Best money we've ever spent.
I won't kid you, there's days where I have buyers remorse. Walking around Lidl in the run up to Xmas was tough but buying a £8 pair of jeans in asda will soon make up for it. Go for it. Change your life. We both wish we'd done it sooner.
Enquire at Nordbariatric. Costs nothing and no obligation. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with them.
Here is what worked for me: Strained Chicken Noodle Soup with a scoop of this: https://www.amazon.com/GENEPRO-Medical-Servings-Musclegen-Research/dp/B01N8VAJWP/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-p13n1_0?cv_ct_cx=genepro&dchild=1&keywords=genepro&pd_rd_i=B01N8VAJWP&pd_rd_r=fbe49900-f576-41ca-a06e-a6eda5209424&pd_rd_w=T...
Serious GenePro has been a god sent. It is only a small amount of powder for 30g of protein, it dissolves easily in room temp water and can be added to anything. Once mixed into something it's 95% undetectable. Just make sure not to add it to something you're heating up otherwise it clumps up a bit. Mix it with cold or room temp water then add that to something already hot.
I don’t have any links but I can give you recipes that I make.
Pineapple smoothie: Chunked pineapple Ice cubes Low-fat plain yogurt Splenda to taste
Tropical smoothie: Trader Joe’s frozen tropical fruit blend Plain keffir or yogurt Splenda to taste Skim milk to blend smooth Splash of 0 sugar grenadine (I get this one from Amazon
I purchased this very small Cuisinart Food processor for my purée phase. It has very few features, but it’s mini, and really easy to clean. I have a Ninja blender which would work great, but like you said, it’s way too much food. I really didn’t want to spend the money, but I’m glad that I did. There’s so much to remember after surgery looking for convenience everywhere you can is good.
They sell them on Amazon but this is another one that has calcium and iron together. In fact I checked every recommended vitamin in this thread and every single one of them does except the procare one I linked. That is just remarkably stupid to me. Right off the bat you're guaranteeing you'll have to take an iron supplement too because it's not going to absorb.
I did not go with best, I tried a few and found them all very similar so I went with my perceived value. This is the one I buy from amazon

My "go to" bar is Thinkthin Brownie Crunch bar. I love the taste and texture but do not buy at Amazon. It is regularly on sale in Kroger stores. Sometimes for $1 but most of the time for $1.50
I have one every morning for breakfast and I don't feel hungry for a long time.
Then I love the One bars. I tried all of them and wrote down my reviews. So why mot share, right. My favorite is the Almond Bliss. The prices at Walmart are very good for those.
Here are the reviews for all the ONE bars:
Maple glazed Doughnut
Very sweet. Tastes like an old fashion doughnut.
Verdict: OK to Meh
***
Cookies and Cream
Not too sweet
Verdict: Good. Enjoyed it.
***
Almond bliss

Genepro!! Best on the market and clinically tested.
The scooper is tiny, it’s like baby powder (no chunks) and completely flavorless. I’m 24 days post-op and I put that sh*t in everything 🤣🤣 30g protein for a small scoop.
Link: GENEPRO Protein: 45 Servings, Premium Protein for Absorption, Muscle Growth and Mix-Ability. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8VAJWP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_kQOBFbZ5PMBVY
I cannot recommend GenePro enough. It is absolutely flavorless, high quality protein that can be mixed into literally anything and the small scooper = 30g protein! It’s medically/FDA approved too. You can mix with juices, crystal light, protein shakes, soups, foods, literally anything.

Not OP but I have both of these (recommended by my dietician) and they cover every stage with really interesting, bariatric friendly recipes to keep things interested!! :)
The Complete Bariatric Cookbook... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1641528761?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I’ve had the same issue with these damn protein shakes lol. I took everyone’s advice here and ordered a protein water mix and am doing much better. My dietician says that I’m probably sensitive to milk now, which make sense since i didn’t consume diary for several years prior to surgery. Quit the protein shakes and go to Isopure Infusions, Refreshingly Light Fruit Flavored Whey Protein Isolate Powder, "Shake Vigorously & Infuses in a Minute", Citrus Lemonade, 16 Servings https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07F4K1XF3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jMYsFbDBANT8V I even made popcicles with this and it’s made life so much easier in just a few hours.
For Calcium I really love the berry flavors of this one:
Bluebonnet Nutrition Liquid Calcium Citrate Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Bone Health, Gluten Free, Soy free, milk free, kosher, 16 Fl Oz, 32 Serving https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Z93GYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_osfQCBlp4TYMN
Can you stand beans? Add protein and fiber all in one go...
I hear people put protein shake powder in pill capsules like this but one scoop might equal 10 pills. But if you absolutely can't handle the taste and you need the protein this is an option.
I'd be careful of brand and where you buy the capsules, the link is just an example of what I'm suggesting.
If you just need some extra calcium, these are like $11 and are vegan.
Any calcium citrate is fine for bariatric patients (just need to stay away from the calcium carbonate)

I like isopure but I think 1 lb bags are the smallest I’ve seen. I haven’t looked in store though- my friend gets hers from GNC. I order from amazon. I wouldn’t just put it in a glass of water, but i can add it to anything and not tell it’s in there.
Isopure Zero Carb Unflavored 25g Protein, 100% Whey Protein Isolate, Keto Friendly Protein Powder, No Added Colors/Flavors/Sweeteners, GMO Free, 1 Pound (Packaging May Vary) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SCO8AA8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gZRvFbXYC6JTM
I feel like this company should start paying me for all the times I've promoted their products :P
Anyways, Syntrax Nectar makes some pretty good (I'm wildly picky) protein water flavors.. and they sell a little variety pack on Amazon for only $30. Definitely a worthwhile investment IMO.
Amazon links: 5 pack for $10.49
Pictured left to right are typical sized capsules and some SF tums (which are about the size of a dime), then four bariatric advantage multi vitamins, then three bariatric advantage chews.
I've found that I significantly delay taking supplements if I don't have them handy.. so I've bought these little cases for my purse, office, and bedroom.
I bought a set of small appetizer forks and espresso spoons on Amazon and use them for all my meals. First, just holding the smaller utensils serves as a very immediate reminder to slow down, take small bites, and pause between bites. Next, the fork and spoon capacity are just smaller, so it also helps reinforce the same goals.
I never found cauliflower to be a satisfying substitute for pasta. It always left me still wanting. I did purchase this lower carb pasta on Amazon called carba-nada. I haven't tried it yet but the reviews are great: Al Dente Carba-Nada Egg Fettuccine, 10-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FZRYPO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PIwsEbJQ29MAH
Once you can take horse pills again... I use these for calcium: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004L4EJQ2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
I'm 6 months out, and my butt seems to be tightening up, so it's a little better. It think you lose weight, you butt loses fat, but the skin doesn't hold what padding you have left in the right place, so it makes it worse.
Anyway, I used a hemorrhoid cushion from amazon for awhile:
