Greetings everyone! Hope I'm finding you hungry for some revenge in your daily reading. Manaborn is a cultivation/reincarnation story that you'll fall in love with! The MC does end up with 2 girls, so if that's not your thing, you can still read it for the great story that it is :D
It's 130k words long, so sit yourself down for a good time, and find the link + blurb below:

BLURB:
This is the story about how I died. Not really…I mean, I don’t remember most of it, thank goodness. Long story short, I was betrayed. Some people I thought I could trust invaded my sky palace, stole my women and enslaved my pet shadow hounds.
I was destroyed, utterly. Or so they thought.
Somehow, mana, the source of my previous power, brought me back. The backstabbing weasels think they are safe, barricaded in their strongholds. Here’s the horrible part. They willingly sacrificed their own flesh and blood for security. And they had the nerve to call me evil?
Death wasn’t all bad, I guess. It showed me what was truly important. But before I can get around to living my second life, I have some retribution to dish out.
Yes, some will call me unnatural. Others, evil. Blah blah blah.
I call me the Manaborn.
Update: Indeed appears to be some sort of NordVPN issue. I was immediately able to connect once NordVPN was uninstalled.
I tried reinstalling it and trying again and the issue returned. In fact, I found that just closing the app fixed the issue (probably should have tried that first in hindsight).
I'm in EUW region. I'll try uninstalling my NordVPN (my vpn) and see if the issues resolves. If not I'll have to use some jank setup where I stream my phone screen to my pc to read.
It might be a nordvpn issue, as it seems that I'm not the only user of theirs experiencing this issue.
Thanks for the response.
Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre - most wuxia use love as plot but power-up is usually the main focus
I think the ones on Netflix has a huge romantic part because it targets a bigger audience

After a lot of trial and error, this is what I'm currently using as a replacement. It's not as great and the search results aren't as extensive and robust as the Eastern Dragon one, but it does enough to get the job done. There are ads but it's not 'non closeable' 30s ads and you get by it using the same offline reading tricks. But you need to go offline before you start the app otherwise it might not work. So download chapters, close app (fully close from memory), airplane mode, open app, read.
yeah....so I wrote my own novel, posted it on this subredit a few days ago, not sure if you saw it. Anyways, its a bit more serious in setting, trying to promote the wuxia genre to the English readers, its a no harem for sure, its a history adaptation.
The book was runing a free promo, but eneded yesterday.
Give it a try if your interested and would love to hear your feed back if you do read it.

I had a chance to beta read this one, and it just came out for Unlimited! It’s an urban fantasy, a little darker. It’s based on The Devil’s Trill sonata.

I don't know much about wuxia, but if you're looking for Dao, try the Burton Watson's Zhuangzi, man. Straight at the source of it :) The book is very smart and funny, you just have to allow yourself to get used to its language. The only problem with this book is that it's too expensive :( But if you can hoist a black flag and sail the digital waves, you should be able to find an e-book for free :)
Greetings,
Try this...
There's a comic book coming January 2022.

I use the android app Reedy. Its not for actual audiobooks but for text files/links. But because a lot of novels don't have an audiobook variant and only text webpages, it is really usefull for people that read novels. With the app you can load web pages like a novel. It only loads the actual text and the buttons for the previous and next chapter. Then I use the text-to-speech option and that way every novel I read is an audiobook :)
Condor Heroes Trilogy - official translated novel came out this year. https://www.amazon.com/Hero-Born-Legends-Condor-Heroes/dp/0857053000?keywords=legend+of+the+condor+heroes&qid=1532078510&sr=8-1&ref=mp_s_a_1_1
