I have a way to do it but it is a slightly long process but you can try it if you don't mind the long process..The way I did it was by using Coinomi's Mnemonic Code Converter.

1) Go to https://coinomi.com/recovery-phrase-tool.html. You can save the Html on your desktop and use it offline (recommended)

2) Click the Generate Random Mnemonic button

3) Choose Zcoin from the Coin dropdown list

4) Scroll down and you can find a list of Derived Addresses you can choose from

5) Send your Zcoins to any of the Addresses and remember to write down either the Mnemonic Code generated and/or the Private Key to your address

And of course you can do this cold storage method for any of the coins available in the list.
