Acdsee's Photo Studio Ultimate is the only thing I've com across that attempts to combine Lightroom and Photoshop in a standalone program. $150 and you're done.
Caveat: I haven't spent any time with it personally, but it has a free trial and claims to do everything I would need.
I've been using the free version of Luxea from acdsee.com. There is a free version that has a very short banner at the beginning of the video. There's a lifetime license ($79.00) and there is an annual license. So, you can have it any way you want it. It's easy to use for simple projects and as the complexity of the project goes up... well so does the complexity of using the software.
For open source, a lot of people have recommended Digikam (www.digikam.org). I haven't tried it yet because on first look, it seems too complex for me. I'm not good with image-manipulation programs, so, for example, if I want to get rid of that smudge in the middle of a photo, it would take me forever to figure it out. I'm trying out a trial version of something called ACDSee Photo Studio Professional 2020 (acdsee.com/), which is more my speed. It does cost, however, but you can get a year's license for about $60 if you buy before Aug 5, 2020. It also has subscriptions, but I can't really afford subscriptions now.
Has anyone tried either of those?
