Notes: Works great, a bit work to get it to work sometimes, tracking a marker is a bit iffy at the moment, they announced a new version release in Autumn.
Notes: Tracking is really stable, and works great far away. Great samples.

If you have prior experience with augmented reality, I'd love to see how to compares to other AR SDK's in the market. Such as ARToolKit, I have experience using ARToolKit before and it was a bit too complicated at first to set everything up properly. Hopefully, ARKit is more straight forward to use.
Anyone have any experience with augmented reality libraries? I'm considering this one for an android app, but I'm wary of how much development time should be expected for a proof of concept.
Why not just run MacOS in a VM? Would compile times be so bad with that, if you were using a ram disk in MacOS? Dunno.. but it's easy to try without spending much.
Failing that, GumTree.. you'll be able to pick-up a second-hand Mac on there for very little if you're patient (and never pay the asking price, always haggle!).
Also, what about using AR Toolkit to play with on your PC? Use your phone as a web cam.
You can use AR Tool kit for which is open source https://artoolkit.org/documentation/doku.php?id=6_Unity:unity_about but it only solves AR problem so you need to find asset on store or develop your own for GeoLocation
This may or may not answer your question, but prior to deploying I see the DLLs included in the VS15 Solution Explorer.
EDIT:
So I noticed ARWrapper is dependent on opencv_core246.dll, opencv_flann246 (per here: https://artoolkit.org/documentation/doku.php?id=6_Unity:unity_on_windows) and not version 2410 which I had been using. So I compiled the opencv246 source in Visual Studio 2015 (clearing the few compiling errors as I went) and now have the proper (I think) DLL's in regard to the ARWrapper.dll open_cv* dependencies. I am still getting the missing ARWrapper.dll error, but of the required DLLs I have included in my project, only pthreadVC2.dll is not compiled in Visual Studio 2015 so I will focus my efforts in compiling that in VS15. I will report back when I know more, but if anyone has any ideas in the meantime please let me know!
