Hi :) Some things that work for me:
Breathing. For some reason, breathing exercises generally make me more anxious, so I love qigong. Breathing while moving for me makes all the difference.
Cultivating a nurturing inner voice, if you struggle with being harsh on yourself in your inner dialog.
And to sort out and understand how I am feeling, what exactly is making me anxious etc. I find writing really useful. I like using this website https://www.calmlywriter.com, with the typewriter sound option activated, light a scented candle, make a big cup of tea, and type away. A little ambience never hurts :D
I am surprised this has not been suggested, but honestly try CalmlyWriter: https://www.calmlywriter.com/
-its free -online and offline mode -autosaves your work online and is recoverable even if your browser crashes
if you're trying to write essays, I'd advise you to try writing in fullscreen mode or an app like this: https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/
Then, time yourself for a short period (like 30 minutes) and ONLY write. Don't check your phone at all, don't look at anything on your computer.
Oh, he DOES want to use the Kindle? Oh, then yes. This thing is a good solution.
But, actually, try https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/ anyway. It might work fine on a Kindle, and you won't need to install stuff.
Is there an easy way to copy paste a PDF to say a HTML version like https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/a so I can get Google GO to read it for me? I'm more of a listener. (When I press select all it just copy's the page it's on)
Thanks :)
Ms word documents don't speak to me as 'write on me' . So I found this https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/ - problem - I sometimes close the tabs accidentally and then I am 'fuck it, '. But just now I found this https://zenpen.io . I don't know , maybe if you want you can check out. Omg and look at this https://ommwriter.com o.o
I will check out scrivener sometime.
I used to write in blogs ( did I already say that in post) but I put my sad diaries and whimsical thoughts in it too, so I don't want to visit it anymore. Maybe Msword is the way.
Are you writing something these days?
There are a lot of line and word operations that doesn't work on normal text editors. Also, I wanted something that I can open in the browser and with far less distractions than other online code editors.
The idea is similar to https://zenpen.io/ or https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/ but for code.
im currently using a program i found from the internet, it has very simple features which makes it less distractive while im writing.
here's the link: https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/
there is a google extension for it too :)
Would you be willing to use dropbox instead of google drive? I use an app called Draft on my android devices that syncs that way with a dropbox account...
Also, If your phone doesn't have the space to install the docs app, then won't other apps be too big, too?
There's an app called calmly writer that has a chrome app (not sure if it works on the phone version of chrome), but works fine in the browser. https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/ it does sync with google drive.
