For the martial artists: Tae Kwon Do is only around 60 years old.
~~Thesis paper I wrote for my black belt~~ Moved to Google Docs
If you want other links I'd have to look online for a bit, but there is a lot of misinformation because Korea wants to world to believe TKD is an ancient art.
EDIT: Some people think I'm saying Tae Kwon Do isn't based on older martial arts. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying Tae Kwon Do is NOT based on Taekkyon or other so called "ancient" arts from Korea and is fact based on Karate and a little Chuan Fa. I lay this all out in great detail in my thesis.
Careful, careful... misleading title. I am french and follow technology-related legislation very closely. What happened here is that google were accused of having too strong a monopoly, as they can (ab)use their search engine to promote their own content over that of their opponents.
I do not agree nor disagree with this decision yet, as I want to know more about it before I make myself a final opinion. Just keep in mind that the title is misleading and google were not being accused of providing a free service at all here.
Anyone who speaks french can read this opinion piece to learn more about the case. They strongly take an anti-google stance there, despite being famous for defending anything free. A link to the official judgement can be found here, also in french, which is what I want to read before making my own opinion on this matter.
It is theorized that getting potatoes increases your CPU power, no idea if it's true or not but it'll help anyway. People should be playing any Potato Sack game they own, it'll help more if everybody is playing the same game though. Once we fill up a bar, we can focus everybody's attention on a different bar making the whole process faster.
The Wonderful End of the World is completed!
Right now, everyone should be playing 1...2...3... Kick It! or AaAaAA but at this point anything will help, Killing Floor really needs a boost.
Steam will only keep track of one Potato Sack game at one time, so there is no point in opening more than 1 game
Edit: Go ahead and idle your game
This is the guide on how to collect all 36 potatoes, collecting them all will unlock a secret reward in Portal 2! https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1vPutCkoZKA9XL5ZjSuNXfX8NfoeHW3xcrv7DgalKUfE&pli=1
Some Taiwanese are also planning lots of projects for Coco's graduation. Like setting up a website, drawing fanarts, building monument in Minecraft (or something like that).
They even hired Kuroda Takaya for some voice acting. And are now hiring advertisement companies to create printed advertisements on billboards, bus etc.
LibreOffice A free alternative for anyone who can't afford Mictosoft suites, even has a pretty comprehensive Powerpoint alternative called Impress thats included. Both of which are compatible with Microsoft Office and Powerpoint. The forums say that they can have a few issues going back and forth between the programs but I havent had any yet.
Scribus is a good free open source Microsoft Publisher alternative.
I thought it was so much cleaner this way...

Edit: The comments made me pull up the papers I wrote (even though this was 5 years ago). My midterm paper was Bruce Lee paralleling Hong Kong as both are a fusion of Western influence without giving up Eastern ideology, and my final paper was a reconstruction of "Hero" and "Rashomon" using the broken narrative structures to piece together a message that transcended the movie.
Edit 2: I got a couple messages asking to read the Hero paper, so I'll link it here if there is interest. 5 years ago, 21 year old english major who thought he knew what was up. Be gentle

My final paper was titled "Puns and Wordplay in the Television Series Arrested Development." The professor was a humor scholar and he had never heard of the show - he was a much older gentleman - so he was thankful that I introduced him to the show.
Hell, I was just thankful I could submit a paper - in grad school, mind you - about how Tobias Fünke is "buy curious" and will allow Michael to "zing your arrow into my buttocks anytime."
EDIT: Here is "Puns and Wordplay in the Television Series <em>Arrested Development</em>". It's 15 pages long. It's not as scintillating as I remember, and it suffers from me double-spacing after every period (eesh). But hey, I got an A on it.
I just did my thesis on plus size models. Read it here.
Pure water is not a good conductor of electricity, but salts in the water can make good conductors.
The lightning follows the path of least resistance, and does not enter the water immediately. Instead, it creates arc channels in a disk-shape on the surface of the water before entering the water. The voltage then drops off rapidly as the voltage spreads out in a half-sphere. Fish (and people) have a higher resistance than the salt water and so will experience less voltage than the water directly around them. An interesting paper that touches on the topic.
A strike might not have dropped down to background levels (and still be detectable) as far as 1 km.
Oh goodness. Ill try to get on tomorrow and help out. I've been waiting years for this moment.

Our institution provides the browser-based version of Microsoft Office to all students. And I tell my students that if they don't like that version (it lacks some of the capabilities of the regular software, especially Excel), there is Open Office, a freeware (and completely legal) version they can use.

OK - first take a look at this: https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1zp_HHPnwQIk0iopDHy5OBzCutwJI9tA7FJLuuFhVPfU/edit?hl=en_US
Anything at altitude is subject to gravity, which will draw it back towards the planet's centre of mass. First, let's look at object A. The green arrows indicate the gravitational vector. The only way to keep this satellite in a stable orbit, is for it to be moving sideways fast enough that the 'fall' due to gravity maintains it at the orbit altitude.
Object B is in a higher orbit, and you'll see that it has a smaller gravity vector. Similarly, to maintain its orbit it needs less orbital velocity.
Hence, low earth orbit objects need a high orbital velocity (the ISS orbits about 16 times a day, at 27,700 km/h), while high orbits have a lower orbital velocity (geostationary satellites travel only one orbit a day, at about 11,000 km/h).
Back to the original question - while you would be stepping off your building and dropping, you would be imparted with enough velocity to maintain a geostationary orbit. Bare in mind - this only works at geostationary altitude. If you stepped off higher up you would be placed in an orbit for which you were travelling too fast, and hence you would prograde away, while if you stepped off at lower altitude you would be travelling to slowly and would follow a retrograde orbit to eventually burn up in the atmosphere.
They label themselves as "Garrett Keyser Butler Community School District".

Having Adobe support Linux has never been the best answer, but the fallacy became a lot more obvious when Adobe shifted to online-DRM subscription sales model and then discontinued their perpetually licensed software sales. Adobe shouldn't bother to support Linux because they're right: they wouldn't sell very many copies for Linux.
Everyone should have some alternatives, no matter what they're using. Emacs users should be able to switch editors if it should become necessary, and Chromium users can switch to Firefox, and Calligra Suite users to FreeOffice, and even Linux users to a BSD if it should ever become necessary.
Anyone who uses specific software professionally should also have an exit plan. Artists, accountants, draftspersons, microelectronics designers, photographers, programmers, lawyers; everyone.
Here is a google doc that lists all the inconsistencies in Deception for those who have not/will not read it.
The Document Foundation (TDF) announces the availability of LibreOffice 5.3.1, the first minor release of the LibreOffice 5.3 family released in early February, with 100 bugs or regressions fixed against the previous version.
LibreOffice 5.3.1 is targeted at technology enthusiasts, early adopters and power users, as it is focused on bleeding edge features.
LibreOffice 5.3.1 is immediately available for download from the following link: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/.
A list of over 700 inconsistencies.
Skeptics annotated bible is your friend. As is the user Evid3nc3 on youtube, who has documented his conversion from Christianity to atheism (please don't capitalise) wonderfully!
LibreOffice's license permits it to copy code from OpenOffice while OpenOffice's less permissive doesn't allow it to copy LibreOffice's code. This means every single fix you're going to see is probably already in LibreOffice and they improve their software on their own.
There's no reason to use OpenOffice since 2011.
LibreOffice exists for 6 years now and made vast improvements. The overwhelming majority of Sun OpenOffice.org developers and community moved to LibreOffice when Oracle took over Sun Microsystems. The Apache OpenOffice is kept online because of a minority of developers that do not want to let go, but who cannot actually maintain it. They mislead Windows users by not mentioning that LibreOffice exists.
I made an updated version that is better for updating and has US tax brackets included:
I managed to play the game at Dreamhack last month. Frostbite 2 engine is simply amazing. Shell casing, spent rounds and ricochets were all amazing.
Gunplay is a lot "beefier" in which i mean there is actual kick to a weapon. Its rather hard to snipe someone across map with a SMG now. And it is nigh on difficult to kill someone with a LMG if you havn't got it deployed or you are Crouched/Prone.
It is amazing, and without doubt the best BF title i have ever played.
EDIT: Btw, if anyone wants to read the 3 Page in-depth review/experience of Bf3 at DH go here if you wish. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WjDDihD6y0944lmKJD18cO7JVwASaBmbiv1mmlyo6hQ/edit?hl=en_US
I made this myself, here is the google doc with the data. 2011 is the projected value for 16 weeks.
One mistake I made is I didn't prorate the games from 1977 and before to account for the fact that they only had 14 games, so those numbers (rushing and passing) should be 14 percent higher.
As you can see, the rule changes in 1978 had by far the biggest effect on the league. In 1977 the league rushed for more yards than it passed, and teams were averaging only 141 passing yards per game, with defensive teams like Pittsburgh dominating. By 1980 it was passing for 50% more yards than rushing and averaging 195 passing yards per game, with teams like the 49ers taking over.
The two major changes were illegal contact, which we are all very familiar with, but perhaps more importantly, changing how offensive lineman were allowed to block, allowing them to use the palms of their hands and extend their arms.
Recipe:
Chain Vest (45 armor)= 700 gold
Cloak of Agility (18% crit chance) = 830 gold
Combine cost (1.5% hp converted to AD)= 825 gold
AD Bonus from:
2000 hp= 30
2500 hp= 37.5
3000 hp= 45
According to this spreadsheet (just pulled it off google really fast) 1 AD has a value of 38.
So (remember passive costs 825):
2000 hp= 30 (value of 1140 gold)
2500 hp= 37.5 (value of 1425 gold)
3000 hp= 45 (value of 1710 gold)

Sorry for taking as long as it did; I'm currently at work and writing between calls. This also hasn't been edited or revised in any way, so forgive me a few trespasses of grammar and spelling and the like.
Edit: The response from the community has absolutely blown me away. I was going to play Skyrim tonight while I am on-call for work, but after this I've decided to put the night toward putting another couple thousand words onto my principal fan fiction instead. Thank you all.

Because MS wants to make lots of money.
Why not try LibreOffice completely free? It does absolutely everything that MS proprietary software does that the vast majority of users are likely to ever need.
Looking at some of the formation models for the solar system are pretty instructive. I know AskScience hate speculative stuff, but what about papers that run speculative models? These suggest that small changes in the eccentricity of Jupiter would result in significant changes in the rate at which comets are fed into the inner solar system in the early history of the planet, and that a direct result of that is that changing Jupiter's eccentricity can turn Earth into a desert planet or a water world. How on the knife-edge were we, if this is true?
I've collected over 100 entries from all across Reddit to Hacker news.
If you want to contribute, here's the link.
Open source does not mean you can do whatever you like with it. You have to meet the licence criteria. These are varied but may include things like:
From the LibreOffice licence: https://www.libreoffice.org/about-us/licenses/
CompleteOffice may be violating these terms:
"All distribution of Covered Software in Source Code Form, including any Modifications that You create or to which You contribute, must be under the terms of this License. You must inform recipients that the Source Code Form of the Covered Software is governed by the terms of this License, and how they can obtain a copy of this License. You may not attempt to alter or restrict the recipients’ rights in the Source Code Form."
Correct, but it's a start. Sensitize people to the dangers of the cloud, and hopefully soon enough they'll realize a Linux PC with LibreOffice is currently the only actually viable safe option to go with regards to government and military PCs.
I'm happy to see the list of LibreOffice users slowly growing since I last checked a year or two ago, when IIRC only France and Italy's defense departments were listed as users: https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/who-uses-libreoffice/
Made a spreadsheet for this. Teams are sorted by PPG/min, with their traditional PP rank next to team names.
OpenOffice is not getting serious development for over 8 years now. Please don't use it, the only thing it has is the name recognition.
Use LibreOffice if you want a FOSS office suite.
I often get incredibly pissed off at what I last described as "moronic gullibility", as well as people spreading it and making it much worse, purposeful or accidental. Some recent/semi-recent examples, avoiding the tradition "TENTH DOCTOR/JACK HARKNESS/OMEGA/RANI/ETC. TO RETURN":
Likewise, people bitching about the show or communities surrounding the show based on heavily outdated information and other people just lapping it up.
There are other things, like the BBC's approach to spoilers, but I think that's much more rational and doesn't get me quite as irrationally pissed as gullibility.

This is what I used with my family; it was written roughly 5 or 6 years ago, so pretty much when I was a teenager, so there's a pretty distinct lack of business terms. I tried to cover all the bases I could with this one, since getting blackmailed to do things horrified me. The demands for money were just to scare them, keep them from lying to me, since the first time I did computer fixing for my family I was blamed for the problems that started to plague my parents' computer a while after I fixed it (that's also where that third question comes from, since my parents seem to have a god-given ability to find viruses not even on porn sites).
I don't do assistance for anything from Apple, though. I'm not proficient enough with OSX to do anything with it, or know how it works. Probably better off going to the Apple store for that.
Consider becoming a donator if you want to accelerate the development process. The more full-time professional programmers the project can hire, the faster it will surpass Microsoft Office in features and quality.
You should probably switch to LibreOffice. OpenOffice is a dead product as it was last updated January 2011. LibreOffice is maintained.
Just to point this out: somethingawful.com is SOPA supporter.
Edit:I have investigated the issue. The reason I was saying it, because my plugin was showing a notification. It seems it is triggered by the "nodakpharmacy.net". For all those wondering: here's a report on it.
Apparently 2/3 of them said they would like to go back in, and less than 1/3 said they would not. 90% of participants felt it useful, claiming that it helped them. Quotes included: "come to have respect for others’ feelings", "came to a closer awareness of my problems and the ways I keep people at a distance", and "learned more about how I affect people".
Weird. Shit.
FYI, this is apparently the first release that includes a native 64-bit version for Windows. I noticed the LibreOffice website didn't correctly steer me to that on a Windows machine, so here's a link for Windows x86_64 in case you need it for any reason.
The merge is obviously the biggest upgrade coming down the pipe in terms of impact, but I'd just like to share some of my enthusiasm for other big upgrades like Verkle trees, statelessness, and state expiry. These are massive improvements on the underlying node structure and will even have a positive impact on the gas costs for certain contracts by making it more efficient to access certain data.
I'm talking like, have-a-node-on-your-phone levels of client improvement here. No need to rely on Infura when you can just send transactions out using a light client built into your wallet.
I don't understand half of the data science and math behind it but this stuff sounds incredible.
Poll for this week. Thanks!
POLL: 317. Basic Lupine Urology
And for those that are asking for results of these, I will try and get them out this week. School has been kicking my ass recently. Sorry!
>Your karma/day rate is increasing.
EDIT: People are asking, so here is the full thing
Actually it isn't as gold efficient as people think. It's above average for gold efficiency, but nowhere near the top (at least if you only consider the benefit to the holder and not the benefits to the team). You can see how it compares to other items in terms of efficiency on this spreadsheet (just switch to the "Data" tab).
It is however one of only two items in the game that give you both armor and MR (the other being guardian angel), which means if you want to get a single item early to go against a fairly balanced team in terms of damage types it is a good bet.
Sure, I'm well aware of that model (being an openSUSE user :) ) but I don't think that's what's happening here. According to the Libreoffice site TDF does not provide professional support for LibreOffice and there is no reference to LibreOffice Premium on their website that I can find.
Sorry for the PDF, but check out the last election estimates by age group:
Do we want marijuana legalization on the agenda? There's a reason the grey lobby is driving this country - they're the only ones who understand what it means to vote, and how shitty life is without a vote.
EDIT: okay seriously, why does this post get downvoted? Who does that?
I don't know. The only thing I don't like about https://www.libreoffice.org/ is the animated download gif. I really dislike the logo and the animation looks weird imo.
But other than that, what's wrong with the website?
I'm going to post this week's poll here so hopefully more people will see it! Thanks everyone!
I think that this is might be more common than most of us think. I am curious about this and have made a survey to get an idea of how common it is (at least among redditors).
If you are willing to take the survey click here
If you just want to see the results click here
This will only work if lots of you fill out the survey. So please do!
Edit: I've also included questions pertaining to cousins
Bubbles get you drunker faster. The carbonation forces your pyloric valve open faster so the alcohol enters your blood stream more quickly.... so if you're used to drinking beer and you start drinking liquor it may take longer to feel the effects, thus getting you more hammered in the long run. Same deal with Champagne vs. Wine

In google spreadsheets one of my favorite functions is the Query function. It enables me to do SQL-like queries on datasets. Oh and also our new pivot tables make doing pivots and group-bys extremely easy.
What sorts of things are you looking for from Access and Filemaker?
I was thinking awhile back to start a google doc (spreadsheet) where we can list the folders and the information associated with them... this could serve as a cheat sheet for those of us who want to delete "bad" folders off of our sd card.
We could look to it and say: oh, a folder named TuneInRadio? The spreadsheet says its required to save preferences and radio stations. Hmm, since I deleted TuneInRadio awhile back I will not need it; Delete.
Edit: in true reddit fashion kiwimonster is already on it, check out the spreadsheet:

"abortion solves nothing", really pope, really?
And just where do you get that from, god? Did the big man in the sky tell you that? Because I don't think his information comes from experts who actually study the issue.
Because they have long concluded ".. that legalized abortion is a primary explanation for the large drops in murder, property crime, and violent crime that our nation has experienced over the last decade. Indeed, legalized abortion may account for as much as one-half of the overall crime reduction".
But facts aside, if you take a logical and moral approach it's not hard to realize that forcing people into difficult long term situations that they, and perhaps their families, aren't ready for, will never yield the most positive result. Morally speaking it's abhorrent to put the rights of a non-sentient blastocyst ahead of a woman. Especially as it's counter productive to a healthy society, life is hard enough without being forced into it.
It was great until the devs decided to make upgrades and weapons completely unobtainable by anyone but the money and/or time rich.
The average match gives you between 300-1000XP for free2play users, or 1000-3000 with boost (which costs about $15/mo). It takes 4 million XP to unlock everything. Alternatively, you can purchase the weapons directly, which costs 16,000 gold (~$150USD) for everything, plus you have to earn another 1 million XP for weapon and armour upgrades on top of that. (source for figures)
It feels completely pointless playing anymore, because it never feels like you're actually achieving anything.
EDIT: Downvoted for pointing out facts everyone wishes weren't true. Classy.
You can download the latest draft for free (got accepted without any modifications), at least that's what Slashdot said.
edit: here
Here's one, but this video is more helpful.
Basically there's not precisely a law to cite with you asking if you're free to go, but longstanding legal precedents. Basically, in order to legally detain you, they need reasonable suspicion that you're engaged in a criminal activity, otherwise you're free to go. It's not precisely that simple, but the question is.
If you ask, "Am I free to go?" and they say yes, you don't have to continue your encounter with them anymore. If they say no, then they are detaining you for questioning or for some other reason, at which point that video above becomes even more useful.
Not forever.

Viable, long-term alternative: LibreOffice.
It's free, open source, works with Microsoft Office files, and none of my teachers were any the wiser.
There's certainly differences between the two, but it's more of a trade off than a deficiency. For example, there's some rarely used (but useful) function that Excel has that Calc doesn't, but Calc supports regex matching which Excel lacks (this is a big deal to me). There's a few other small things, but nothing I would consider a deal breaker.
If you really want cloud support, Google Docs is quite nice, and it's free, too. Otherwise, I just use Dropbox, also free, and save my school files in there.
LibreOffice - www.libreoffice.org
Free, fully featured, not trapped in a browser, not beholden to network latency, and not locking you into a company's data trap.
Once you start using LibreOffice then you'll wonder why anybody still pays for Office software.
> ... Libre Office, it's Microsoft Office XP and in the last 10 years has seen 0 improvements in functionality.
That's completely false. LibreOffice has within its five years of existence constantly added new and improved functionality: https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/new-features/
Perhaps you were thinking of OpenOffice.org, which stalled and then got forked by LibreOffice (because that's what you can do when free software gets stalled)?

I took the players and numbers from NFL based on who qualified for those particular statistics.

Give me 10 minutes and I'll edit this post with a link.
Edit: here you go, OP
Let me know if anything in that spreadsheet looks wrong, but if my formulas are right, you and your grandchildren should really prefer taking that $400/wk. That "amount spent" is just how much of the 20k you're spending... Make it whatever you want (between 0-20k, anyway). I picked 3%, 4%, and $10,000 somewhat randomly, but happily, it works out to you having almost no money left when you're planning on dying.
Edit 2: Note to self: read the whole post first. I'll work on factoring in the mortgage...
Edit 3: It's creepy when you guys watch me work. I just want to make a note of the fact that you will not be able to completely pay off your mortgage with a lump sum (taxes...), but if anyone can give me an estimated tax rate I can help OP out there.
"The Document Foundation has been made aware of an unofficial version of LibreOffice on the Windows Store. We are investigating further, but we want to be clear: this is not an official version created by The Document Foundation, so the app's page is misleading. The only official source of the software (which can be downloaded for free, i.e. without any cost for the end user) is LibreOffice website: https://www.libreoffice.org. lso, the money from the Windows Store version is not collected by The Document Foundation."
Tacky. Trying to be greedy and charge money for free software.
Here's the poll for this week. Thanks!
POLL: 318. Course Listing Unavailable
And for anyone who didn't see them, here are the results for the first 17 episodes of Season 3:
For those (on pc) who regret picking certain points, you can add and remove them using the console:
player.addperk ### player.removeperk ###
where ### is the corresponding perk code. I compiled these into a printable doc if anyone is interested :)

From the article: >Rolling Stone: How did you get the name Darth Vader?
>George Lucas: "Darth" is a variation of dark. And "Vader" is a variation of father. So it's basically Dark Father. All the names have history, but sometimes I make mistakes — Luke was originally going to be called Luke Starkiller, but then I realized that wasn't appropriate for the character. It was appropriate for Anakin, but not his son. I said, "Wait, we can't weigh this down too much — he's the one that redeems him."
Lucas didn't intend to use the Dutch word for "father," it was just coincidence. Also, the word "Darth" doesn't mean "dark" in Dutch, but it is meant to invoke the idea of darkness. Also, I think Dutch speakers pronounce "Vader" differently than VAY-DURR right?
Media and Politics. Instead of a final, we had a 10 page (single spaced) paper of ~10 different essays, and a 10 page (double spaced) essay due. I put in more work than i'd put in for any of my other classes, combined, over the entire quarter just on those two papers (got a B+ too). The workload for the quarter was relatively simillar.
Anyways, the class completely opened my eyes about how pretty fucked up everything is (beyond a "Fox news is bad!" level. really getting into the details, why/how it works, etc.)
Worked our asses off in that class, but totally worth it.
Edit: Uploaded the papers to google docs due to popular demand. I warn you that I am not an amazing writer, and I'm sure there are plenty of gramatical errors (I'm terrible at proofreading). I'm proud of the papers though. Also, watch the movies "Wag the Dog" (Just think to your self, "Would this really be possible? ) and "Out Foxed". I'd watch Wag the Dog first.
Also, send me a PM with your thoughts when you're done reading them!
Latest project building a zkEVM rollup: https://hackmd.io/@yezhang/S1_KMMbGt. Interestingly, this is the first look at Ethereum's possible future zkEVM upgrade. Everyone thought it was 5-10 years away, but clearly zk tech is advancing exponentially.
Hang on! I'm grabbing my candy thermometer and testing my electric kettle. I will plot the temperature change over time and report back to you ASAP.
Edit: Electric Kettle data gathered. Waiting for water to boil in my stove-top kettle for comparison.
Edit2: The data is in! Graphing now.
Edit3: Data porn!
To gather the data I measured the temp of the water in 4 situations over the first minute in the mug. The situations were:
Conclusion: The hottest water came from a stove kettle, and a heated mug. Close behind it was the electric kettle and the heated mug. Well below these two were the trials with the cold mug.
TL; DR You should always throw a splash of boiling water in the mug before adding the tea leaves/tea bag. Swirl it around to heat the mug, then pour it out, add the tea, and pour into the mug from a full boil.

After 500 solid responses and as the traffic seemed to be decreasing, here are the results of the survey as promised. Thanks to everyone who completed the survey!
If anybody has interest in the spreadsheet, then HERE is the raw data. Did a bit of cleanup, and added a few more items to the form when looking through the columns.
Enjoy!
The most likely one is probably the religious overtones, but it's also certainly possible that they didn't feel like they could do the other characters justice with their versions of this scene, or that they felt the overall message was not in line with the rest of the game, etc.
Or it could have just been money. No resources, no time. Too much money spent fawning on Diana Allers.
Edit: If you're interested in seeing some of the other cut scenes, the script can be seen here
Magnet schools I haven't heard of before (I'm Canadian), but I don't think they're relevant to this discussion. The problem with mathematics education is systemic. Many parents, elementary school teachers, and non-"technical" (science/computers/math/etc.) high school teachers have negative attitudes towards math and are often lacking in basic numeracy skills.
Students are very quick to pick up on adults' discomfort, and many adults broadcast their math phobia. Students going through a public school education may face all of the following:
... and many more.
This is a major, systemic problem in education in North America, and can't be solved with specialized programs.
I'll ask everyone to please read the section on security before commenting on the security implications of this proposal. After you have read it, feel free to complain to your heart's content.

This is a short summary of organised PvP taken from the excellent overview linked in the submission;
> PvP -
>Structured PvP:
>"Hot join" games are the casual side of structured PvP. Hot join PvP can be played from 1v1 all the way up to 10v10.
>Players can browse through a list of available games, each displaying the current map, the number of players, etc. Players can search by server population or friends list.
>Tournaments are the more organized side of structured PvP. Tournament play is 5v5, but matches take place on the same maps that are used for hot join play.
>Pickup Tournaments: These single-elimination tournaments wait for 8 teams to join before starting. Once they start, they go through 3 rounds of eliminations, with winners receiving qualifier points.
>Monthly Tournaments: For monthly tournaments, you'll need a certain amount of qualifier points to join.
>Yearly Tournaments: These grand tournaments feature the winners from the monthly tournaments slugging it out for the right to call themselves the best PvP players of the year.
>Player-Run Tournaments: These tournaments will be customized by players, allowing for great flexibility and unique bragging rights.
>Guild Wars 2 PvP features different maps that all dramatically alter a single game type called Conquest. In the Conquest format, teams compete over a certain number of capture points. Holding a capture point and killing enemies improves your team's score. The first team to reach the score limit—or the team with the highest score when time runs out—wins the match.
Can you devote 2-3 hours a week to cooking?'
I cook all my meals on Sunday, and then I'm good to go for the rest of the week, I just re-heat in the microwave.
> Amazing that they just don't seem to care about fixing this.
"They" is a volunteer-driven, community open source project with very limited resources (compared to the vast size of the userbase). Suggesting "they" don't care is very unfair! The community is working super hard but needs help: https://www.libreoffice.org/community/get-involved/
If you haven't done the survey and would like to, here's the link.
If there are a lot of new responses, I'll post the results again.
EDIT: If anyone is still interested in more of these surveys, I'll do another with any questions you may think are important, and I'll spend a bit more time on it to ensure that all the questions make sense and there are enough types of answers.
