I switched to Nimbus Note after a decade of using Evernote and getting frustrated by the backwards direction of the app and losing features that I relied on. Nimbus offered the best solution for my set of needs, and used an application UI that was close enough to Evernote to make the transition more streamlined.
Keeping Legacy until unusable for backup but not daily use.
Currently trying Nimbus Note, Amplenote and I'm about to try Relanote.
I like nimbus but it's a bit slow and I really loved Evernote's fast index search so even with poor organization (I'm improving), knowing just 1 or 2 words and you can quickly find what you want. I'm leaning towards Amplenote long term. I've been sorting out my notes so it will be easier to export to other services so I can jump between and test multiple overtime.
Just looking at the OP's link (Saas Mantra) and the link to the Nimbus Note one (https://nimbusweb.me/note.php) is setting off a 'that Saas one looks a bit dodgy' alarm in my head...
Nimbus Note (shall we call it 'official'?) have various subscription plans, no lifetime one time purchase... So the Saas thing looks... not right.
I'd not be tempted myself.
