We are using Firebase authentication, but using our .net core middleware for authorization. Not using Firestore and document based databases. Feel free to ask any questions regarding our development experience. Thanks

As someone struggling with the state of bookmark management apps, each offering different way of doing things, we decided to build our own.
Clipd.io is a web based Visual Board & Bookmark Management system. You can choose how you want the information displayed, either in a list view like Raindrop/Evernote or a section driven layout, like Papaly, Trello etc.
We made sure to make it completely platform/device agnostic, so users can access their bookmarks on whatever device they choose. Since the bookmarks and boards are all stored in the cloud, your data is safe in case of a computer crash etc.
Let us know what you think.
Check out tab/bookmark extensions for whatever browser you use. I use Chrome and they have a large selection - here's the link to my fave: https://www.clipd.io/
I mostly use it for research organization so I just throw everything/anything relevant in there and use the visual organization system to map things out - the site should have a pretty straight-forward explanation vid.
Hope that helps =)
We are using Vuetify, this let's us change not just the light/dark mode but also theme colors on the fly and based on user preference.
You can check out our video on the main landing page on how we are doing it.
Basically vuetify has a built in dark mode and we have to bound it to a variable in a global vuex store (shell in our case). Vuetify also has a primary color option which we use throughout the app to control the theme appearance, this is also bound to a global variable in the state.

Hope that helps
Not exactly what you are looking for but our bookmarks management app does this. Your most frequently visited/clicked links move up to the top while still showing full text indexed bookmarks, instantly. You can navigate the results using arrow keys and open them by pressing enter.

Give Clipd.io a try
The data loss problem will always be there unless the extension does some sort of syncing to a secure server. Clipd is not a tab manager, it's a visual bookmarks manager, therefore all the content is stored server side. This makes it possible to access your bookmarks on all your devices including mobile/tablets etc.
Clipd has multiple view modes, and support a densely packed list view mode.
Clipd supports drag and drop to change the order.
Instant search etc
