I already talked to TaiG about this awkward kernel patch days ago, and have this on my schedule of things to fix "next" (after the thing I'm working on fixing right now). FWIW, I did not realize their patch was this bad (I mean, dude: that's pretty bad...), but I'm still not terribly concerned (as an example: i0n1c says "don't install tweaks from random people in the next few days", but those already by definition have privileged access, so you should already be careful installing them). (This setuid bug is the "proactive fix" that I talked about in the Cydia 1.1.18 changelog.)
You can use Anywhere!--虚拟定位 by onTheRoadStudio to trick your iPhone into thinking it's an iPad. This enables the unrestricted playback that's usually exclusive to tablets and PCs.
I have just pushed Cydia 1.1.26, which modifies this logic slightly in an attempt to reduce issues people might have with the update, as some people here are saying they are having issues with icons disappearing :/.
The Cydia package page (in Cydia) gives a more detailed explanation. You can look at it in Cydia or check it out here, and I'll quote it too:
> Changes in Cydia 1.1.19: Cydia Substrate Compatibility
> Cydia now runs as "mobile" instead of "root". This means that Cydia Substrate extensions (tweaks) can now modify Cydia, just like those tweaks modify other apps and iOS.
> How this will affect you: After you install this upgrade, you may be surprised to see that your installed tweaks are modifying Cydia. For example, if you have a tweak installed that improves how the keyboard works in all apps, it will now improve keyboards in Cydia as well.
> Tweaks may have problems: Some tweaks may have bugs in how they affect Cydia, such as applying an odd color to a piece of text, because their developers have not been able to test this before. Please be patient and give developers time to update their tweaks — you can often follow them on Twitter for news and updates. You can temporarily uninstall a tweak if it is causing problems for you.
> What if something goes wrong? If you install a tweak that causes Cydia to be unusable, you can fix it by booting your device with Cydia Substrate disabled (which also disables all tweaks). To do this: turn off your device, and turn it on while pressing the volume up button until it finishes booting. Then open Cydia, uninstall the buggy tweak, and reboot again to go back into normal mode.

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the brand new 'iOS 7 LockScreen Weather' designed to work seamlessly with your iOS 7 LockScreen.
This lockscreen utilises /u/saurik 's Cydget tweak.
Simply add your location ID and the weather is displayed on your lockscreen. You'll also be able to view your lockscreen wallpaper without making any modifications.
We have worked hard to bring you this tweak and have already received numerous compliments, screenshots and praise.
Why not head over to Cydia (hosted on the ZodTTD & MacCiti Repo) right now to download our 'iOS 7 LockScreen Weather' tweak: http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.macciti.ios7lockscreenweather/
Update: from /u/yourofl10 - 'iOS 7 LockScreen Weather' on iOS 6 - How To Guide.
He posted the release post for his tweak Griddy, which was functional on its own but plagued with severe incompatibility issues with a startling number of very common tweaks (Auxo, Tage, Seng, No SlowAnimations, etc) which he had previously stated would be compatible. Becuase of this, everybody got very, very angry, becuase they paid for a highly-compatible tweak and did not receive a highly-compatible tweak.
There were a few nice comments in the thread, like "no issues here gg" or "yeah it sucks but the initial release always sucks he'll fix it eventually and the world will be good again" (not direct quotes but you get the idea) but the vast majority of the comments were saying "this tweak doesn't WORK" "I'LL NEVER BUY A TWEAKWIZ TWEAK AGAIN" "@Dev you're LITERALLY HITLER" (also not direct quotes, I'm going for gist here).
A little after the initial chaos, a few more well-known devs also gave their two cents, posting screen recordings of the tweak bugging out. They were more constructive than the first wave of commenters, but I think at this point, TweakWiz was just 101% fed up with everybody being so critical of a tweak release he had anticipated going smoothly, and he reacted poorly.
I don't remember exactly, since the actual thread's been deleted, but I believe he accused some of them/everyone of lying about the bugs or something (now that I type this it sounds really sketch so if somebody could please correct me so I can edit my post, that would be fantastic) and overall just reacted very poorly to the situation.
At this point, he's cooled down enough to issue a public apology (parent post) and from this point on, I believe that he'll be more receptive to criticism, and will try and remedy the issues that Griddy has.
Raise to wake! Finally. We had too many people complaining that Touch ID v2 was too fast and people couldn't read their notifications on the lock screen.
-edit-
Did they just announce OneTapClear?
It was StatusTab actually. It's a fantastic tweak, I really hope it gets updated.
Edit: Sorry /u/SUNBUR57 didn't see your edit, didn't mean to correct you. Your tweak is exactly what OP is looking for. StatusTab instead replaces the tab with the entire status bar, particularly handy if you use OpenNotifier.
Almpoum is pretty popular.
Snapper 2 is an upcoming update to Snapper that can also achieve the same. You can draw a selection on the screen to only take a cropped screenshot and then either let it float around on the screen (it's movable and resizable) or copy, save, close, or share it (the resizing and sharing may be version 2.0 only). The options also work for a native screenshot without cropping (this is in 2.0).
Direct link to the package in Cydia for those who don't want to watch the trailer- http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.brokenphysics.issb This tweak was made by the guys over at Broken Physics Studios, check them out here!
I made one. I've used it for this exact purpose probably a hundred times already.
I keep the activator action as a short hold on one of the volume buttons. That way it is always available and it is subtle enough that no one will ever notice what you did.
Thank you.
The instructions are shown on the Cydia page:
Simply connect your device and navigate to the following folder: System -> Library -> LockCydgets -> iOS 7 LockScreen Weather.cydget -> script
Within this folder there is a file called 'config.js'. Open this file with your favourite text editor and follow the very simple instructions within. This is how you set your location to display the correct weather.
You can use Activator to do this :)
To enable Low Power when your device locks:
• Anywhere --> Device: Locked --> Switches (Activate): Low Power
To disable Low Power when your device locks:
• Anywhere --> Device: Unlocked --> Switches (Deactivate): Low Power
Slices is a tweak that lets people have multiple accounts on apps that don't allow it.
This is useful for when you want to restart a game or play the game again but with hacks/cheats but don't wan to get rid of your first save.
No need it has been fixed
Edit:
Cydia Substrate has been updated to version 0.9.5012
See Here for the /r/jailbreak post
Opening PDFs in other apps is stock. You have to access it from the "Open in…" button, but it's pretty straightforward these days.
Not sure about the App Drawer, but I'm sure plenty of folks on here have some good solutions.
Browser Changer can be used both for defaulting to Google Chrome and to default to Google Maps.
Gestures can be set up using Activator.
The main feature of the 6s is Force Touch. If you find that worthwhile, go ahead with it. Keep in mind though that there are jailbreak tweaks that attempt (with decent success) to simulate these actions on older devices.
Looks an awful lot like the nintype font.
EDIT: Confirmed. /u/almostdeadmau5 posted the page. Font is named Quicksand.
It is also on Cydia http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.bytafont2.quicksand/
Here is the link to the package: http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.modmyi.octopus/
All credit for the gif goes to Joshua Schaeffer.
I posted here a couple of days ago about this theme, and I've decided to release it. Any problems PM me!
On an unrelated note, my tweak SpringboardOrganiser, which can sort icons by most used, name, or even icon colour, ~~will be on Cydia soon.~~ is on Cydia as we speak. Check it out!
Open in App for Photos [FREE] will add apps to the share menu in Photos, but YMMV with this tweak. There are no options to configure so you can choose which apps appear in the sharing menu. In another thread I talked about this tweak with another user, we both had the same tweak and both had Instagram installed, Instagram was showing up in his shared menu with this tweak, but out of the 20+ apps in my share menu Instagram was not one of them. I had a similar situation with another user and a different app as well. So it seems to randomly pick which ones to show on the list, as far as I can tell.
Readr [$2] which was mentioned in this thread, will add services (e.g. Pocket, Instapaper, Evernote, etc.) to the share menu in certain apps. Considering you want to have Imgur then I don't think this is what you're looking for, great tweak nonetheless though.
http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.thomasfinch.dim/
I have had this tweak since it was released. It is great! Must have. Runs smoothly, NEVER had a problem. I never see any lag from it.
I use it before a movie starts, so that in emergency, if I need to take my phone out, it is super dark.
Great for late night. Works FINE by F.lux (please install if you have not, newbie). Great tweak, great experience, great programmer, great update

> Have you ever switched between two apps, maybe you took a picture of a WIFI password that you need to enter. With Snapper this is made super easy! All you do is: open snapper (with an activator action) and select the area you want to keep on-screen, that’s it! The area will stay on you screen until you decide to take it away.
>> You can also save and/or copy the “snaps”.
I know it's not exactly you're looking for, but CCMeters by Sticktron puts this information in the Control Center. It probably saves battery to have this implementation anyway. It's worth considering if you haven't already.
Would you be able to re-implement FullKarma? The redesign to Alien Blue broke it.
If you have 1558 karma, AB rounds up to 1.6 annoyingly.
Hi,
I have just published "Calendar for Lockscreen" tweak, which allows you to see your current and upcoming calendar events on your lockscreen. You can see more screenshots here, and see the details and get the tweak here.
~~First 5 readers who send me their Cydia ID in a private message, and then reply here, will get a free copy :) (you can see your Cydia ID on the bottom of your profile page there when you log in, it should look like "Cydia Account #1234567").~~ EDIT: free copies sent to the fastest 5 readers :)
Here's a link for those who haven't heard of it.
It allows you to require fingerprint reading for access to specific apps (which you choose). Only compatible with the 5S. Dev is Ryan Petrich
What do you mean? Who would want location services? It's useful for turn-by-turn directions, and if you're worried about being tracked then you can just manually enable it when needed and disable the rest of the time (or use tweaks to prevent apps and services from accessing the location data - I use Protect My Privacy).
Yep... I use Browser Changer : http://cydia.saurik.com/package/jp.tom-go.openopera/
Only thing it doesn't do is change the name.. so an app that says "open in safari" will open in Chrome. There used to be another tweak that would also change that.
Try booting in no-substrate mode (hold vol+ while booting up) to see if its jailbreak related.. (though prolly' is)
Go to /var/mobile/Library/Caches. Delete 'com.apple.LaunchServices-xxx.csstore' and Reboot.
Also give Respring+ from Cydia a go.
Edit: Also if nothing seems to do it, check if you have AppSync installed and reinstall / reboot device.
Lance Fetter's updated CrashReporter has a much-improved UI, as well as iPad screen support, and numerous other improvements over the old version. Now that it has been updated, this is a must-have tweak in every user's troubleshooting toolbox.
As a reminder, don't forget to install <strong>syslogd to /var/log/syslog</strong> from Cydia in order for CrashReporter to function properly.
Edit: link to syslogd
Yay! Check out this part of the changelog:
> Cydia now will fetch package lists from more repositories in parallel on newer devices capable of handling the load.
:D
He can't make changes to Cydia without an update you install. This change was a change to the website that Cydia loads on startup (the home page that can be seen in the screenshot), http://cydia.saurik.com.
If you ran "Erase all settings and data" on a jailbroken device, there is little chance of it returning to normal. You would need to restore it. Have you tried putting it into DFU mode?
Since iOS 9.0.2 is no longer signed, you will have to restore to the latest iOS 9.1 which is not jailbreakable. I hope you have your device backed up on iCloud/iTunes.
For the record, do not run the Erase function on a jailbroken device. If you need it to return to stock, use Cydia Impactor if your device is running iOS 8.1 through 8.4. It will remove the jailbreak, restore the stock system files (particularly if you have modified system files), and remove all user data.
Setback can do this (in a way). However it doesn't seem to be working with 8.4, though I haven't tried downloading it.
The tweaks saves all of your settings for different layouts etc. so you could have three different layouts and have an activator action to switch between them (eg connecting to a certain wifi).
Hopefully it will be updated. I miss having it.
Auxo 3 might suit your needs.
To get this look, enable "Multi-Center" in the main settings page, and "Reachable Display" under "Advanced Settings".
For the custom toggles, you can use Polus.
It looks almost exactly like what you're requesting, here is a screenshot of it on my device.

I'm not a Snapchat person, but there are at least two tweaks available on Cydia for the Snapchat iOS app (Phantom for Snapchat by CokePokes and GhostPrefs by Skylerk99). Check out /r/jailbreak for info on jailbreaking and what kinds of tweaks and themes are available. All iOS devices except those on iOS 9.1 are capable of being jailbroken currently.

Should be [Check out Pheromone by HASHBANG Productions on Cydia](http://cydia.saurik.com/package/ws.hbang.pheromones)
which displays as
If you are looking for a way to do this on the cydia store then yes, there are a number of options such as Airplayserver (Doesn't work with iOS8) and Airfloat (I believe some people have had success with this on iOS 8+)
However there is also a way of using airfloat without jailbreaking, by following the steps in this article
I have made a ton of Cydgets for people, so I don't want you think I'm saying this just to be a butt. However, Cydget sucks. I always experience major battery train (~10% faster) and the Cydgets aren't very useful. If you are able to, get LockHTML3. It's only $1 and it will save you the issues.
I use CustomSpotlightAction to launch searches from spotlight in apps like imdb, twitter, Tumblr, Cydia, various web sources in safari (and also to add events and reminders in fantastical).
You type a shortcut like "gi" for google images and then whatever, "gi cheese", hit search and go.
Coupled with AnySpot and clear on open it's a pretty darn quick way to search.
FullScroll [Free] by Ryan Petrich should be able to do this. You can set preferences on an app by app basis.
It works fine in other apps I've tried, but for some reason not Safari. If you try it on your device, let me know if it works in Safari.
To make this process exponentially easier using Activator:
In Activate Command, enter this command:
cd /var/mobile/Library/Logs/CrashReporter && symbolicate LatestCrash.plist > crash.txt
In Activate Link, enter this link:
ifile:///var/mobile/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/crash.txt
(Optional) In both tweaks, scroll down and toggle Show Titles to give each entry a custom name. In Activate Command, Show Output can be switched off.
Assign activator gestures to these two events (or use Activator's Menus feature).
Using Activator gestures, this will run Terminal commands and allow you to launch iFile via URL Schemes.
I wish I saw this post earlier, but I hope this still helps.
There is NoteCreator [FREE]. Though it currently does not work in the same way as Fast Notes did on SBSettings. You can activate a popup to write a quick note and save it to your Notes app, but the "Save on Cancel" feature doesn't work. Essentially tapping cancel should keep the text in the NoteCreator popup for the next time it's activated, but that is currently broken (at least on 5S 7.0.4).
Not necessary as you can just double press the lock button to decline the call but to each their own. Jailbreak is about modifying the device. I don't see this mentioning iOS 9 either btw. Here's the better link to post: http://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.dantesieg.cou/
-edit-
It lets you send an email with a list of your repos (although you don't need your repos in list form because Cydia now supports backing these ups via iTunes backup). You are also able to e-mail a list of currently installed tweaks.
> As I understand it they got this top advertising as a term in the cydia acquisition of rock your phone
I do believe you are both correct about this, yes.
This doesnt specifically cover the advertisements, but it is interesting to read about this from back in 2010:
No, it is not possible to upgrade to anything but iOS 9.1
The best method for backing up is to use iTunes on your computer to make an encrypted backup.
I have a 32GB iPad 3rd generation on iOS 9.0.2, and it's terrible. It was best on iOS 6 and each upgrade just makes it worse.
If you have another iOS device, I would keep the iPad on iOS 6 (allowing you to use tweaks to get the most out of it - like AirServer, which turns it into an Apple TV).
Edit: To clarify on the terrible performance of the iPad 3rd generation, I think my original iPad on iOS 5.1.1 can outperform it.
Polus was always my favorite. Especially since it's worked well with uniformity, ccloader, activate link and activate command. Not to mention, it has a ton of glyphs (plus you could add your own easily). It's not updated for iOS 9, yet.
MarkAsRead8 can remove badges when you clear notifications from your NC but only from your NC and not if you dismissed a banner notification.
EDIT: THIS IS FOR SNAPCHATS AND SCREENSHOTS.
1) Add the following repo to Cydia: >pw5a29.github.io
2) Download from his repo 'HTC Emoji 8.3+'
3) Download Emoji83+
Even though you have HTC Emojis, you still have the middle finger emoji. I think the receiver should have Emoji83+ installed so they can see it too.

Maybe /u/Cr4zyS1m0n?
He already made curtainChecker for blind jailbreaker.
Install MobileTerminal and top. Open MobileTerminal and run top
. What do you see? Remember to run q
to stop it from running!
Install this. Kill all apps and do not touch your phone for a while. Look at the rankings. Which application looks suspicious?
Uninstall afc2add and install Apple File Conduit.
From what I've heard afc2add has problems and this could be why nothing is showing up in iExplorer…
(Assuming OP is the author of the site) if you used
http://cydia.saurik.com/package/me.qusic.readr
instead of
cydia://package/me.qusic.readr
people could actually open the links on anything other than a jailbroken iOS device. The link would then present a "Open in Cydia" button for anyone who actually has Cydia.
TL;DR Are you comfortable using MobileTerminal? If so, you can run:
ps -amcwwwxo command,rss,%mem | head -10
It's a lot of output which isn't really practical on a phone's display, so I limit the output by piping through head and only displaying, in this case, the first 10 lines.
YAWN Probably more than you're looking for, but if you're wanting to keep an eye on something you probably don't wanna have to open MobileTerminal each time. Grab Activate Command and assign something in Activator. You'll get a clean and simple GUI popup where you won't need to truncate your output using head.
Here's an example without using the RSS memory option.
Thank you for providing absolutely no info whatsoever.
Edit: it seems, at a quick glance, that HideMe7 is a $1 tweak somewhat similar to Springtomize, in that it allows you to change and customize various aspects of the UI and springboard without needing multiple tweaks

I believe the rounded dock is done by RoundDock, though I haven't used it since iOS 8, so I don't know if it works currently.
Changing the date format can be done with several different tweaks. My personal favorite is StatusModifier, which works perfectly for me on iOS 9.
Yes there are several tweaks that do this like TSProtector8, Xcon and Flex 2.
It bothered me in iOS 3, 4, 5, etc, etc...
<strong>NoSpot</strong> was always something I installed if I was using a jailbroken device.
I was SO happy that the Spotlight page was finally gone.
And now it's back in iOS 9...
Honestly, when recording the tutorial I was having this issue as well. This is a planned feature most likely. As a temporary solution (what I did) was install NCObey, it allows for what you speak of.

I'm using Activate Command along with Simulate touch. I also have a Pebble SmartWatch. I've rigged it up so that when I press a button on my watch, it will unlock my phone, open a text to my girlfriend, and start dictation. Once i'm done talking, I hit another watch button, dictation stops and the message is sent. Really useful while driving, and I don't have to worry about siri cutting me off.
I know that you can use activate touch like a command line (I believe linux style commands?) but I'm really not familiar with any of it. I would love to be.

uicache
killall SpringBoard

As mentioned you should never do "Reset All Settings" or "Erase All Content and Settings" while jailbroken
PSA to anyone else & the OP if there's any success in getting your device back, install "Reset All Killer" which will disable these buttons so you cannot press them, yes it does work fine on iOS 7
Unless you're the developer and im clearly wrong; PhotoAlbums+ for iOS 7 and iPhone/iPod is no longer in beta (as of the 1.0.0.2 release on March 6) and I do not see anything about it not working on the 5s.
Hi,
I have just published Reminders for Lockscreen, an iOS 7 tweak that keeps your reminders glued to the lockscreen so you have them in front of you at all times. It is seamlessly integrated with the stock notifications system, so all other notifications will keep working as usual (including my other lockscreen tweak, Calendar for Lockscreen).
You can customize many settings to your liking, like text size & color, which details to display, how many reminders to display, which icon to use (iOS 7, iOS 6, custom), etc. More features are coming soon: ability to choose which lists(s) to display, more advanced filtering, icons with the same colors as your reminders lists, etc.
The tweak is available here, and more screenshots here. ~~First 5 readers who send me their Cydia ID in a private message, and then reply here, will get a free copy :) (you can see your Cydia ID on the bottom of your profile page there when you log in, it should look like "Cydia Account #1234567").~~ EDIT: copies sent to the fastest 5 readers :)

If you upgrade with iTunes right now, you will end up with iOS 5, which can be jailbroken on the iPad 1 but is a tethered jailbreak (using redsn0w beta).
If you have SHSH saved, you may be able to upgrade specifically to 4.3.3, which is the last available untethered jailbreak. See this page for details on upgrading and using SHSH.
Every time you upgrade, you lose all your jailbreak tweaks and settings. You can manually reinstall them after upgrading and jailbreaking again.

It isnt over USB like you asked, but it works over the network (better IMO). You can view your device like any other device on your network, enter a username and password to connect to it, then browse the files exactly as youd expect. very simple. very handy.
EDIT: no reason to apologize!
Display Recorder by Ryan Petrich
Edit: Just realized you were probably talking about steaming, not just recording. Sorry for not catching that quickly enough.
I really like PushRecord (BigBoss, free). Maybe a little biased here, but it's a simple tweak that makes a huge difference. at least for me. It lets you start a voice note recording in the messages app by tapping and holding for a second. Once you are done, just tap the button again to complete recording.
EDIT: /u/gviridis is the dev. He did a great job of making it.
Quickshoot Pro iOS 8 & 9. This will allow you to use activator to control when you start/stop recording video with audio and which camera you want to you as well as the quality of the video. You can specify an icon in the status bar to let you know its recording (requires libstatusbar for the icon to work).
You can start recording right from the lock screen (by invoking the activator method). The video will continue recording even if the screen is off and device is locked w/ passcode.
The saved video shows up in your photo's app under 'video'. I believe it will record for a max of 45 minutes (as long as you have the space).
You can use Vestigo. Long press on the wifi toggle and it will basically bring up a pop out menu of the wifi settings page. Pretty handy.

Edit: You need Animate iOS 8 to use this.
