Based on the screenshots of the game we just got, style switching seems to be in.
On the HUD it now shows the name of the style you're using much like DMC4 (this wasn't in 3/3SE).
It would be an odd addition to make if style switching wasn't involved.

Look above the health bar. That wasn't in previous editions of the game. Style Switching incoming.
As much as i'd like to believe this...it's just not something we've seen b4. By which i mean there is nothing like "devilmaycry4.com".
If we get a DMCV, it's likely to be a subdomain in "devilmaycry.com" or "capcom.co.jp"
Could be wrong ofc...
Stuff like the DMC1 costume is available in every version of the game; you just have to unlock it. I just figure that all of these announcements are going to tie into the Switch release of DMC3 (since that's what the video that's linked to is about), and it seems like the sort of thing that Capcom might do to handle the backlash over them taking a $30 or $40 collection, splitting it into three separate releases, and charging $20 for each of the individual games.
Going by the official site for this re-release, we know that there are going to be some changes made between the HD Collection and the Switch release. Screenshots on the site for the Switch release appear to have the style names in the top left corner during gameplay, which wasn't the case in the original.
I can't really see them putting out three separate videos like this, leading up to the release of DMC3 on the Switch, only for them to go "oh, and by the way, Vergil DLC is going to be coming to Devil May Cry 5."
The official website already confirmed that they won't release physical version

Official site only calls it a rebirth not a reboot. In fact it's not a reboot but set in a parallel world which isn't exactly a reboot but it isn't set in the same universe and to be frank it sounds like an excuse Capcom cooked up to protect established canon after Ninja Theory made those obvious lore deviations.
