I really liked SpaRSS. Its an RSS reader that uses a local database to store all the data it downloads.
Not all news sites support RSS, but you can convert many major sites into RSS feeds using open source and proprietary products. Here is an example. I'm not endorsing any because I chose to write a custom web-scraper the couple of times I needed this feature.
Sada imas 2 opcije:
I eto. Skupi sve relevantne stranice sa vijestima, dev blogove ICO-a i slicnog, dev i sluzbene twittere...itd.
Bacis oko svaki dan sto ima novoga :)
Ovo je stvarno vrlo vrlo korisno i prakticno. Vrijeme ulozeno u postavljanje se isplati vec prvog dana ;)

I can edit it down until we get what you want to see on the notification. I selected hidden from user by accident. Made in a hurry.
If this works first of I can edit it so you can change it
I could get the date, the title and the link of each item but not the summary with http://fetchrss.com/. The summary text is just free-floating text in the table td
cell, so you can't choose it as an element. The RSS feed still generates ok, so it's worth a look.
Nah the above would likely be a multi-step workflow and Zap charges for those. There’s open-source alternatives to Zapier but those would incur hosting costs so much of a muchness really when it comes to cost.
There’s services like http://fetchrss.com/ that allow you to create a custom RSS feed by scraping a site but their free tiers tend to be underpowered (eg very low refresh rate).
Overall in cases like this you either make it yourself or pay for it 😅
Progress report:
- Added Text Channels for each province, to give that localised feeling.
- RSS feeds added for /r/walmart and /r/walmartcanada along with following:
+ walmart.com newsroom (Feed Link)
- Added channel for those sweet Wal-Mart memes :D
- Added channels for feedback, announcements, questions and concerns
Hey, I don't have the skills, but I did a bunch of tinkering and I was able to figure this out! I used this service http://fetchrss.com/ to turn that NPR page into an RSS feed and then I added it to my podcast addict app
Put either symbolic or hard links in to a directory, these are your feed elements, then use this or a product like FetchRSS to turn the https directory listing into a feed.
The issue with these and many methods is they are all poll/pull, push would offer a more efficient mechanism, that would also be immediate.
Take a look at: https://www.reddit.com/r/seedboxes/comments/6xic1u/automatic_seedbox_to_dedi_solution/dmhesk9/
Very cool, [firewallbreaker](/u/firewallbreaker) uses a message/event bus to push new notification of new files to a script that is listening.
Use any web to RSS translator service, like fetchrss.com to poll http://pokemongo.nianticlabs.com/en/post
.section-content
for the CSS selector.section-content
already added, which is the whole row of the date + subject line.> .item-header
From TPB staff
The RSS feeds haven't been operational since the site returned 18 months ago, so there is no reason to expect they will ever return.
But it is quite easy to create your own feeds based on TPB URLs (such as http://thepiratebay.org/browse/602(onion)) using http://fetchrss.com/ (or similar services).
Bear in mind that TPB doesn't host .torrent files so (even if it were to come from TPB itself) it will only provide magnet links.
