you get a flash downloader. There are a few out there but I like either an addon called http://www.flashvideodownloader.org/
or a app called moyea flash downloader:http://moyea-free-flash-downloader.en.softonic.com/
I have used the former a lot more since I got it but moyea works sometimes when the other doesn't and vice versa.
Some sites use countermeasures and for them and you need a screencapture program of some kind. Capturbate seems all the rage now but I myself haven't used one.
Uhh, OP, you know you can download it and play it with VLC, right...?
It used to be a bit frustrating getting videos from ESPN, but just tested and now it's easy. I have flash video downloader installed on Firefox, getting YouTube videos was no problem. When on ESPN it wouldn't work, but if you link the video to a post (like OP), it downloads just fine (click on the twitter icon for link url). Glad to have just found this out, also there might be an easier way still I just don't know.
How often do you have to rotate pictures in your browser? Zoom is ctrl+ and ctrl- as always.
FVD suite. (Flash video downloader) works as advertised, just not on youtube due to chrome webstore regulations.
There's tons of things for it, flash video downloader is generally one of the best if you don't mind having to download it as a program (instead of just an addon),and as a bonus, in cases that the video can't be saved, you can let the video play and record it, though it has to be done in real time.
Specifically for firefox, without need to download a whole program for it, FLV movies downloader is a pretty good addon, and covers most major video sites.
Both are free.
There are many great add-ons that let you download videos from YouTube (and other places):
just to name a few.
Everyone should be ripping every video they enjoy, because they're not going to be around forever -- and once they're gone, they're gone forever, since companies typically don't live up to their end of the Copyright agreement they have with society.
I've been using Flash VIdeo Downloader in FireFox for quite a while. Works great if you want to download the whole video.
Rather than extract the audio from the video after download I just use this YouTube to mp3 converter......it works for most, but not all videos. There is a limit of 5 minutes, so it's good for individual songs, but not whole albums.
You can do it with chrome plus a plug in. FVD is what I've used in the past.
e; I guess you can go to the above website and give it a URL and it'll extract the download link for you. Not sure if it'd work with facebook, but it's worth a shot if you don't want to install anything.
I just download videos using FVD suite, screw ads. Not to mention on my crappy connection the downloading/buffering of the video sometimes screws up making me reload and restart the process.
