I was suspecting that but thanks for letting everyone know. I really hope that they are actually working on the site silently in hopes to make things up, but hopefully it won't turn up as IndieGameStand (RIP).
I already own your game on Steam (and Desura) from bundles I was buying earlier – knowing it's price on Desura I'm a newly born millionaire, and on Steam it's even better, as it's priceless for me! – you forgot to set the new currencies on Steam, you may want to do that actually else some customers won't be able to buy it there ;)
Are you sure its a steam key? how to redeem the key: 1. Go to http://indiegamestand.com 2. Create an account/Login/Login with FB. 3. Click on the profile drop down menu (it should say your username or email) 4. Click redeem game key.
Pixel: ru² will be at South and East and I think a few other devs posting on here will be as well.
BTW, for South we're doing a Pay What You Want deal through IndieGameStand, here's a link for anyone that can't make it:
IndieGameStand seemed to follow a similar trajectory to and have a business model similar to chrono -- starting strong, doing OK for a while, then fizzling out.
That said, IGS did do one thing that most of the smaller sites don't do -- actually tell you how many sales they had. So you could actually see that many deals sold less than a dozen copies there at the end.

It really depends a lot on the community. We did a PWYW on IndieGameStand and the majority of sales were extremely low. This seems pretty common on there. You can see some data from it here:
We did get a huge spike in votes on Steam Greenlight from this, so that's a plus. We're now on Steam and I don't know if we would be there or not if it wasn't for this PWYW deal.
I'm pretty sure Humble does well. I think because it's well known and gets a lot of people willing to pay a fair amount. I don't know about other places though.
I don't suggest anyone ever doing a PWYW until you've made what you can off of the game or are just in a bad situation.
We actually received our biggest spike in votes (not counting the initial spike when your game is first on Greenlight) when we did a Pay What You Want deal through another store.
