You can now see the 3d scan in VR and scale/rotate it as you want.
I used Invesalius to print the CT scans of my Tib/Fib spiral fracture. 3DSlicer is also good at converting CT and MRI DICOM files. For both, there are tutorials on isolating structures for printing.
