Added bonus: SerpWatcher comes as part of the Mangools.com suite.

So you get a ton of tools including Majestic link data and the widely praised KWFinder.com.
It's a great all-round tool for solopreneurs. Designed for smaller outfits rather than enterprises but im a big fan.
I use SerpWatcher from Mangools. It is a part of a package that includes my favorite keyword tool, KWFinder.
I have tried many, but these tools are great value and work well,.
Have a look at KWFinder, It includes two additional tools called SerpWatcher and SerpChecker. SerpWatcher lets you track your ranking over time for your keywords. KWFinder is the fastest tool I have found to build gorgeous keyword lists.
No one spoon-feeds here.
If aspects of keyword research are already beating you, then you'll probably have a really difficult time figuring out how to consistently pump out high quality articles or harder yet, how to market the site.
Just to give you an idea of how subjective this is, some people don't even do keyword research, that includes me. I think people (especially beginners) get too hung up on it; I'd much rather spend time in forums searching for topics to write about.
But to actually answer your question:
1.) This article is old, but shows you how detailed keyword research should be done.
2.) Download the Keywords Everywhere chrome extension - it shows you a rough estimate of how many searches a month a keyword gets in real time - the lower the searches 'the easier' the keyword.
3.) Then there's KWfinder, it shows you how competitive certain keywords are.
And that's about it. Honestly, don't spend ridiculous amounts of time on keywords alone, there's too much to be done.
I really like KWFinder. It is the best keyword research tool I have found, letting me build lists of high traffic key words in a fraction of the time it used to.
It also tracks the keywords you are trying to be found for.
There is a free version you can try. The Basic version is enough for most small business owners.
I can show you how I use it if you PM me.
But if you don't currently make money online, you have 0 credibility to teach others how to do the same. And almost every new person jumps into the "make money online" field and almost all of them fail.
Think of yourself as a magazine editor. A magazine editor doesn't have to be an expert on the topic, they just need to attract and manage good writers, market subscriptions, etc.
So lets apply this to a field like "drones" for example.
You could set up an online Drones magazine. Write articles yourelf, hire writers, pull together research for people.
You can include topics like:
Your money sources might include:
Create REAL value (not just affiliate fluff) and people will come to your site.
Of course, learning how to market this is key.
The possible topics are endless. Look for where people are experiencing pain points and need help.
You could do web sites on:
To find popular topics/problems you can do keyword research.
You can do some keyword research around topics using tools like KWFinder.
This requires real work but creates real value unlike the thousands of affiliate, dropshipping and t-shirt sites most people attempt when they first try to make money online.
The string of words the user uses will help to reveal their intent. Someone who searches "Nike shoes" isn't as close to converting as someone who types in "white Nike shoes size 10 free shipping".
Certain keywords reveal ecommerce intent (buy, free shipping, purchase, the name of a product with specific sizing details, etc). If your search term has reputable ecommerce sites ranking for it and the PPC is fairly high it's probably got ecommerce intent.
I use https://kwfinder.com to find my keywords. Certain informational keywords are good as well if you feel as if you can build authority within your niche.
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:
I did the honors for you.

There are tools which use GPK data, and then combine will other interesting metrics to give you even more insights. KWFinder.com is only of the examples. Disclaimer: I am one of the devs.
There's a lot of keyword tools out there that will estimate the difficulty of ranking for a keyword. They usually do this by judging the strength of the competitors who rank in the top 10 for the keyword right now.
Two of the most popular tools used for this are Ahrefs.com and KWFinder.com.
KWFinder lets you use their keyword difficulty tool for a few free searches per day if you have a free account. You should try it out.
Here are a few that I use:
KW Finder: I use this one to find the highest traffic keywords to write articles and content about.
ConverKit: I use CovnertKit to automate content delivery. It builds my list, automatically sends my blog posts to my list and lets me create sequences to deliver content to prospects while NOT including people who have already purchased the product or said they aren't interested.
You could try it I guess and see?
If you are in a small-ish town/city it may be a nice thing to try! Looked at keyword volume? KWFinder is fantastic but you could also use SEMrush or something.
Happy to run a few dish searches for you if want to give you some idea and you dont want to pay for a sub.

Hi u/Slasherrino
Hope you're thriving through this CoVid crisis. You have a really pretty collection of dresses there.
After taking a look at your website, I would like to point out a couple of feedback:
I hope this helps!
I checked your store (looks pretty good), and I would like to share a couple of tips that may help you increase traffic.
1. I noticed that all the product descriptions are the same (a 15% donation will go...) While this is actually striking the emotional standpoint, a brief info about the product is required. Why? Because you can use potential keywords in such circumstances which are likely used on search engines. (try out this https://kwfinder.com/ to find phrases that are related to the keyword and also have a high search volume.) This will help increase organic traffic (google)
You have a really good cause: helping wildlife protection through donations, but your message needs to be louder so that you have a larger community. So start a blog page, and keep on adding blogs on a weekly basis. Interact with similar communities out there and build up your social strength. This will in turn help in getting more social traffic. Not to forget having Facebook and Insta ads will also drive more traffic.
Influencer Marketing is also a good way to increase traffic i.e; getting a social media influencer with high followers promote your products.
Hope these feedbacks be of help to you. Also if you want these traffic not to bounce but to grab their attention and nudge them into purchasing, then try out my cute app in Shopify - creating product stickers/badges (like Trending Now, Best Seller, Sale) to create urgencies.
kwfinder.com for keyword research. Pro Rank Tracker for keyword tracking. Ahref for competitor research. I Search From for location based keyword research. Surfer SEO for onpage opmization. Agency Analytics for client reporting. Screaming From. GSC. GA and Toggl for time tracking.
Check Out Keyword Finder.
Other tools are more powerful, but if your'e just starting out the interface is much easier to work with and get used to. Look for "green" keywords and these are ones that you can probably rank for.
You want something with 500+ searches a month with a difficulty of under 25, really.
I speak to small businesses all the time who ask "where to start with seo" and this is the #1 thing they've never done, so the best place to start. Need to find realistic goals.
I am using kwfinder.com for optimizing content with the content I produce. I have Yoast SEO as well. Unfortunately, I don't know how to tag. Is that the same as using the "alt text" bar for keywords on images? Or similar to that?
Beginner here, but I'll try to help with what knowledge I have.
There is such a thing called keyword stuffing. And Google algorithms are trained to know when an article has random keywords placed here and there. It can cause your site's ranking to get bumped down.
Easiest to start is with Google search autocomplete. See what people are usually searching for in regards to what your article is about.
If you have Google Ads account, you can search under Tools > Keyword Planner and see which keywords have the highest search results.
Same goes to KWFinder.com and neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ .
When writing an article, it's important to provide good facts and any interesting tidbits (harder than it sounds) as opposed to writing with the intent to get an easy buck. Google can see through it.
Hope I helped :)
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to share my site and social profiles in this ride along. The reason being that if it becomes successful I will get a lot of competition and even copycats. People who are not very familiar with the ecom space, or even other areas like affiliate marketing, have no idea how much of a problem this is.
I use mostly the google keyword planner for keyword research as I am fairly familiar with G Adwords. But there are more user friendly alternatives like kwfinder.com or https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/
Tools like Kwfinder give you a number between 1-100 to indicate how difficult it estimates it will be for you to gain top ranking for those keywords.
How don't know how your choosing your niches but you need to be using a keyword planner before pursuing any niche. If your plan is to rank in Google to get traffic then I would recommend kwfinder
Also I would always recommend targeting a keyword you can get an exact match domain for as this will help your rankings
Try KW Finder to research the keywords around this.
I think some guides on how to manage conference calls would be useful. I teach an "Running Effective Meetings" workshop, so topics like that would also work well for people that use conference calling.
Apart from keyword.io, there is an excellent tool Keyword Finder, which allow you to do keyword research and displays 50 results including searches, CPC and PPC analytic in its free version.
Buddy, its me again with an incredible tip!! Go here: https://kwfinder.com register and check comp as well as search volume at the same time, for FREE! Yep, I'm full of goodies!, subscribe at my site for even more free and useful stuff! Later Gator
