Ok, since everyone else has addressed the elephant in the room - Was this supposed to be a diary entry? I think you meant to post here.
Really though, are we supposed to give you a nice jerk or something because you're playing the revenge game like a teenage drama queen?
> there’s an extreme shortage of Will Turner/Jack Sparrow fics (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Have you tried digging around on Livejournal? [for example] Because Jack/Will used to be the most popular ship, and I can’t really imagine that everyone who wrote fic in 2003/2004 went on to archive it on AO3. (I just looked it up, Fanlore has links to rec lists and archives, some of which might still be up.)
You will probably have better luck using google, and searching on "livejournal" "[your fandom]" "fanfiction" for starters.
Here is a sample return for Harry Potter: https://www.livejournal.com/blogs/en/harry%20potter%20fanfiction
It takes you to communities and individual blogs which (hopefully) have what you are looking for.
Caveat: tagging in LJ is NOT like tagging on tumblr or AO3. Tags are local to an individual's or community's blog. "Interests" are how LJ sorts for fandoms and other search terms across the site.
Caveat 2: Since tags are local to the individual community, the community itself has to set up tags. Usually tags will look like: "char: harry potter" or "ship: harry/ginny." The slash is often used rather than a portmanteau, because LJ tags support it.
Communities of fanfics *usually* have some kind of standardized tagging system within the community. That said...
Many older LJ fanfic communities (early 2000s) did not tag their fics at all. That's right - NO tagging for pairing, type, anything. You literally have to browse through every fic to find what you're looking for. Even better, many of those fics from 1999 through early 2000s were not backed up anywhere else, and their writers' names are unique to LJ.
So it can be kind of like searching the Library of Alexandria. Have fun!
Back then there were a lot of theories and deep essays on mugglenet and HP lexicon because we didn't know what's going to happen in the books. People over-analysed the names of people and places to death. I remember some genius deduced Snape's entire allegiance and love for Lily after that scene in OotP! The dates and other details like people's names were very gradually revealed on JKR's website and HP Lexicon so we filled in the details ourselves.
The fanfiction community itself is very different, too. For starters, the writers appear more mature and older. Back in good old 2007 there was a lot of Lily listening to Good Charlotte on her iPod. My Immortal really wasn't the only fic that was like that. Post-OotP people wrote a lot of stories where Harry is adopted by Snape, or is secretly Snape's son. There also seemed to be way more slash and dumb fics where head boy and head girl share a dormitory, and a lot of the slash ended with men getting pregnant. There was also a lot of de-aging shenanigans, Freaky Friday type fics and Harry going back in time to meet his cool emo parents and looking at their iPods. The stories people write these days are just so much more complex and plot-driven. About 10 years ago there were a lot of serious stories too, but they were gathering dust in the Gen section of FFN.
There were also a lot of communities poking fun at fanfics on LiveJournal, and even at the books themselves. McTabby used to collect the funniest summaries and it was a whole big thing. There were also numerous sporking communities that seem to have vanished off the face of the Earth. I think authors now write more serious works than Severus Snape the wereflamingo and people would probably get really hurt and offended if something like that was still around.
Smut recs is why I got interested in the first place... It's also years since I read any and can just hope they stand the test of time. Here's a couple of general old-timey resources anyway:
https://epic-recs.livejournal.com/tag/fandom%3A%20fullmetal%20alchemist
https://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=fma_yaoi
If you should happen to want Ed/Roy recs I can give you a couple of links to that too, but I totally get that this isn't everybody's cup of tea.
Welcome to the sub! I saw you tried asking this question before in another thread and we have a weekly question thread that you can ask questions like this in, if it's not on the front page you can find a button to it on the right hand side. Please try to post future one answer questions there.
As mentioned you can find the subs here at Ryuu Rogue's archives: https://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=ryuu_rogue&keyword=Releases%20-%20Inazuma%20Eleven%20GO%20CS&filter=all
So this is the official link to the "ARCHIVE & MASTER LISTS" of the dmhgficexchange. I've just clicked through some of the entries and while quite a few seem to be lost, many are still there. It's my understanding that there is a Facebook group dedicated to finding/recovering old Hermione-centered fics (Enchanting the bookworm - ?), so if there is a title you're specifically interested in, you may have some luck asking there (or here, you never know :)). I've personally had some good experiences with finding deleted fics from FF.net with the Wayback Machine (let me know if you need help figuring it out), I'm not sure how realistic it is to hope that they will have specific LJ entries, but again, who knows.
Anyway, good luck!

I'm assuming this site is in English?
This one has a story with a Raina.
Here's a giant glob of Live Journals, which you've probably seen but may be worth a shot?
And, just on the off chance it was a big site, try here.
I like this one a lot. It's a Green Day fic, Billie/Mike, AU so you don't need to be familiar with canon. It's about them meeting as strangers and traveling together and the development of their relationship along the way. Contains non-con.
yes the best ot3!! there’s an archive of Jack/Will/Elizabeth fics on livejournal that i’ve found some gems on, here’s the link (i hope i’m allowed to put it here, otherwise search for potc_archive on lj!)
LiveJournal let's you export files to CSV and XML.
Day One has a CSV import for Mac feature.
If you don't have a Mac, Day One has MANY community import tools but no obvious LiveJournal one. ( Also has tweet import, which is neat. )
You probably are best looking through most of these for a CSV importer, I found iMoodJournal, and testing it on a secondary account to see if it works.
But yeah, should be able to do it by default with the FAQ tutorial.
There's lots. The best option is to get your own website. Lacking that, here are some you can use:
Facebook has ways to make lists-and you can always link and edit posts on a Facebook business page for your music.
No es drrary pero si queréis leer algo en español no me cansaré de recomendar marauder!Crack, es una obra de arte (Sirius x Remus). Para mí es el equivalente a aytd en el fandom hispano y parte de mi headcanon
i was obsessively on lj from 2006 onwards & a big panic fan, i have never heard of that. perhaps you are thinking of the bandom livejournal? it was known for being nicely categorized for fics by band & topic. here is a link
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:
I did the honors for you.
^delete ^| ^information ^| ^<3
Harry Potter fanfics can be found literally all over the internet but here's some central sites:
If you're just looking for general fics, those three sites will be the big ones. If you're looking for a specific pairing or type, you might have better luck Googling for best-of lists and trying those instead.
All the documentation that you have read is great. It all explains your problem. Here is the LJ importer that you're trying to use:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/livejournal-importer/
That tool hasn't worked in a long time.
LJ's documentation explains why. They don't support this kind of action:
https://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/8.html
You have some options.
I would look into that error message, read some good forums and maybe talk to some people on IRC. The error seems to suggest that mass imports are still possible with the right content in your request. That content could literally be anything but I like problems like that. This is not a beginner friendly task, at all.
Write a scraper or find/modify one. Import your content that way.
Follow the Sleepywaldo tutorial, but you'll get better results with a scraper with fewer places where it can/will go wrong.
check if the jrock_scans and community still exist on LiveJournal. they had the best archive of dir en grey scans. I went ahead and got the links for you: http://jscans.baka-koneko.com/ and https://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=direngrey_fotos&keyword=Haiiro%20no%20Ginka&filter=all
I have one but its very graphic and dark fic. Torchwood trauma recovery -The perfect Storm by Teleen.
Under the director's office a Torchwood One the new director has found the previous director had kept a slave to torture. Not being able to die Jack Harkness has been kept there for decades. What follows is about his recovery. Has kinks and a threesome.
LiveJournal has a communities feature which works the way I was hoping it would. You can make posts exclusive to the community so that your regular blog subscribers can't see the post. But that doesn't prevent lurkers in a community from finding your public posts.
I joined the place-4-addicts community as it best fits my situation, but there isn't much activity on it. Maybe some people from this subreddit can join and revive it.

От противного нельзя. Мы можем точно установить факт сотрудничания, а вот факт отсутствия взаимодействия установить очень сложно.

u/trix180 et al - still in love with Bear. So Thank you again! I know you have so much on your plate and excited to see what's next. Just adding my +1 to this feature "someday"
For it to be a general use collapse block, as I saw you mention a while back- something like
&&& Area to collapse/expand &&&
I'd love to use it in lists and entire sections of things I'm writing. Its also a little shortcut for hiding/privacy aspects within a block.
I think of it as the old <lj-cut> feature from Live Journal way back in the day. - where you could optionally define the text. https://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/75.html
Like
[Collapse link text title]&&&
Collapsable block
&&&
Or like doing it after a header would automatically make the header be the collapse text
Collapsable block
&&&
>pointing out at strategic moments when our behavior is inconsistent with our long-term wishes, and employing other "self-manipulation" techniques.
I can't help but think about Scott's "magic earring" tale here...
(Can't find it but it should be here m
You won't be able to find any streaming sites, and if you do they'll likely be pulled not very long after.
Your best bet is to make a LiveJournal account and join communities that sub videos. Some will automatically let you see posts once you click the join button. Others you'll need to comment on a post to have then be accepted but this is easier then it sounds.
https://www.livejournal.com/blogs/en/arashi There's a list of some communities at the bottom. a_ra_shi is a good start because nearly all other communities use that as a messenger board to let people know of their updates.
