Or next time just have recovery backup codes for your Google's 2 factor authentication. You can client side encrypt your codes on something like https://www.protectedtext.com/ so they will be easily accessible even if you lose all your belongings. (So long as your brain still works)
password is the sacred number
Hey no ones talking about this video and i’ve partially cracked it (video: https://streamable.com/r4qa7) ok so the there is zodiac killer text and decrypted it references protected text a website for protecting text - obviously. The website works by using a passwors and a unique number link hence the numbers in the video so with that i got this link https://www.protectedtext.com/20171006005018 a password is required and i assume that its in the video when theres that really low sound i think with some pitching it would say the password or maybe the sign is the password idk because i don’t know sign i can’t pitch this atm someone else maybe try reversing the audio as well sorry i couldn’t be more use. Edit 1: the password is the numbers in the url it like to an imguru file: https://imgur.com/785i3k5 Edit 2: this has already been done just saw that the pic is the same as one already discovered Edit 3:if u take the deep sounds as morse it may spell aut or rat
update: for that link, if we assume the three letters after the . are .com, and the first part is https, we get P _ O T _ C T_ _ T _ _ T.com/201710006005018....
That looks a lot like protect _ _ t _ _.com
EDIT: https://www.protectedtext.com/20171006005018 We need a password
also, spoiler is down
Cool, I managed to decipher it (caeser cipher, using the 28 letter shift, and I found this: whoever see that light is soon made such that i would be impossible for him to set that light side for other sight;

because he good, the object of the wll, is fully gathered in that light; otside that light, what there is perfect i defective.

if some fellow dude could help me with decoding this poem sort of thing, then we might be able to crack it :D
so the video link (which is also the name of the crossword here ) starts off with https://, so we know the solid dots are ts. After the "." is either a com, org, or net most likely, so we can get a few letters from that.
Here's a link to the transcript I just made. Sorry it's in a dumb format. It was in google drive but I realized it's connected to my byui student account.

I, too, like to write at work. Fountain is the way to go! I like the so-called fountain-mode in the emacs text editor. It has the advantage of looking like your doing something extremely technical, but any text editor will do.
I also like this site for encrypted note-taking in the browser: https://www.protectedtext.com/
To avoid censorship, you can contact the support team of Proton VPN and they can help you come with a solution. I don’t know if using TOR will be a possibility but if you can, please use TOR as it will be the best. For storing your seed, there is a website called Protected Text It is encrypted and you can create your own protectedtext.com/(URL) and password lock it. No one can access it without that password. Remember that URL and password or unless you won’t be able to access your seed phrase.

Yes security is a big concern. For my personal usage what I did for sensitive info like random codes, was use https://www.protectedtext.com/ and then embed into a Notion page. Everything else I use 1password
Apparently, this site doesn't work without www.
. I tried to resubmit the post with the correct link, but reddit stupidly told me "that link has already been submitted" and redirected me back to this wrong post.

It's their privacy policy, it just doesn't have a big h1 heading saying 'Privacy Policy'.
I just prefer the flexibility of Veracrypt containers... storing whatever I feel like in there, and I already have the habit of immediately clearing my clipboard manually so haven't found it annoying yet personally.
protectedtext.com
You can save text files to sub domain protected by a password
Here's one I just created

You could make a www.protectedtext.com site that is encrypted but accessible from any browser and keep your key there if you must have it somewhere. Other option is cryptee account. Maybe omit last digit for security
I've asked this question like 14 different ways here and over in r/tor . I find .oinion URLs during my work day at times and want to load them into my TAILS session without having the URLs on me all day, in any form. Where I work, you cannot have a thumb drive, cellphone or connect to outside email systems (they're blocked). Writing down URLs has not worked for me in the past and the piece of paper gets lost.
The best answer that I got was to load them up to an anon web site that creates text storage for URLs on the fly.
https://www.protectedtext.com/
There's more, that's the first one on the list.
This doesn't answer your question on the drive so much as it does provide a way to do this.
Maybe you should read it again. That HDD could be linked to you. You could be forced to provide a password to authorities if they know you have access to something they want. All highly unlikely, bit still. Hard to destroy, too.
Also, if you know a thing or two about scripting, check the code of the script yourself (https://www.protectedtext.com/js/main.js). Very interesting.
I am in no way affiliated with the website.
There is no need to curse if you disagree with something. And the reason you disagree is because you don’t understand what it is.
It’s simple. You load the page, input text and a password, the script on the page (in your browser; client-side) encrypts the text with your password as the missing piece, the encrypted text is sent to the database.
Please see this image. Should be self-explanatory... https://www.protectedtext.com/img/image.png
What do you think is safer, writing something on a piece of paper and putting it in an old sock in your house or storing some useless text that can’t be linked to you in a database? Make sure your computer is free of keyloggers and use a VPN to top it off. Think about it. What do you think people like Edward Snowden, who know first-hand what the government and other dangerous people are capable of, would pick?
https://www.protectedtext.com/
The site I use for storing important notes and passwords.
Your password isn't sent to any server - they can't decrypt your text even if they wanted to. Only encrypted text is sent over the Internet.
No cookies, no sessions, no registration, no user tracking. They can't identify you at all. No logging in or out. No ads.
Where do I even begin?
The main character, mary sue, aka me, started out as a kid around 6. A portal suddenly opened in her room and she went in out of curiousity only to be used in a simple experiement where a dragon (THE catalyst, aka the guardian of power) would try to eat out a kid's heart in order to replace it, gain a host and give them power in return. The dragon only has one goal, to get more power. The ones running the experiment at the time were the 4 sovereigns of the 4 main elements. Quick lesson in hiarchy: 1. Mortals, 2. Champions (immortals, angels, witches, orcs, etc), 3. Sovereigns (masters of an element), 4. Guardians (embodiment of an idea/thing).
She was the only one to survive the experiment. It was unknown why, at the time. But she believed it was just chance, eventually someone had to survive right? The sovereigns trained her and sent her off into wars and other dimensions that needed saving, so her first title was child soldier.

Turns out this is a really long story, so here it is complete:

ProtectedText allows you to create a page encrypted with a password and edit it at will, but there is no line number nor format/code detection. Besides the first mentioned, PrivateBin could be another one, but you can't edit a previous link, so you would need to clone it first.
I haven't looked that much into it for now, but that's some results, I guess.
If I may, what do you want to do with such service? Is it just to write code or post a snippet but online?
PS: I'll edit this comment if I find something better.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
