Resurrection Remix which is based on Cyanogenmod.
Here's the link to the device page, im using the i9300 by westcrip. I seriously havent had any systemui crashes yet, its my daily driver. You can check the main page for the features, it takes features from several roms which I prefer. Although one crit i have is that the default systemui background is a bit tacky, would've preferred the standard aosp background, and the alternative "pitch black' theme is even worse, but thats why you have theme chooser I guess.
I'm running a 3t, and since they are basically the same phone I figured I would share my experience with you. I really like the hardware, the software not so much. I decided to flash Resurrection Remix (http://www.resurrectionremix.com/) and now it runs like a dream and it looks exactly the way I want it to. If you are looking for a great phone and know how to ROM Oneplus 3/3t is a great phone.
Would you mind directing me to the latest official release download link? The link you gave me is directing to this download page. But when I am checking the official site download page it gives this souceforge page which have v5.8.2 as latest. I'm confused.
http://www.resurrectionremix.com Just look for your device and flash this is the Rom that i have in my S5

The reason why I chose http://www.resurrectionremix.com/ is because it's based off of https://lineageos.org/ so it's stable, smooth, fast, and lean.
But, in addition, it has some really nice customization mods.
The thing is, LineageOS is more popular, it's the "base" OS so it's compatible with more devices. I think RRemix is a "forked" OS so it hasn't been built for as many devices.
If you can find RRemix for your device, I would use that over LOS. But, LOS is still good, it just doesn't have as many bells and whistles.
Which I just realized, Samsung must have a lot of tracking shit in their ROM because RRemix can do a lot and it's no where near as laggy as LagWiz. Also, it's only like 4-5GB fully installed (depending on the GAPPS version). I think LagWiz is double that.
its the vendors custom OS & apps which make the phones slower than they should be... disable all apps your dont use or learn how to install a small faster OS such as Cyangenmod or http://www.resurrectionremix.com/
Even those smaller operating systems can be fine tuned by disabling or uninstalling apps your dont need...
resurrection remix has a lot of costumisation options. if there's something you don't like, just change it
and yes, you need root acces. just google how to install a new rom on your phone and ther will pop up tons of instruction videos and guides
good luck!

I've not experienced that particular bug, but I switched to Resurrection Remix and it works like a charm. No real issues for me since I flashed it the weekend before christmas.
Would you be knowing why my device (the Galaxy Grand i9082), when playing this animation during boot-time, blanks to a white screen after red-skull? I am not on the stock ROM - am running Resurrection Remix ROM
I have the international version and this works like a charm. Having 4.1 is great. The stable (official) release is due soon as well.
You should consider rooting it and having it all the way updated to Jelly Bean.
I kept mine for like a year on stock Gingerbread but after rooting it it is not only faster but the battery lasts a lot more. Here are some sites that can help you with it:
and this is the ROM I am using, http://www.resurrectionremix.com/
