Here are steps someone recently posted on Silph Road (of all places, they love cheating as long as it personally benefits them). You don't need to follow verbatim but it covers the key points. You can no longer get the deal he's referring to, it was a short term mistake that's been patched.
British person here, I managed to take advantage of this with the following steps on my Samsung Galaxy S20FE:
Buddy, don't use free VPNs. They are the worst.
Just use any of these 5 VPNs recommended by other Redditors.
I am using NordVPN and CyberGhost without any issues at all.
The guide to solve this:
FYI I use the latest version of FGL, non-rooted, Pokemon Go 0.111.2 (did not update yet), and Google Play services version 12.6.85
Hope it helped :)

This one. really easy to use. On the settings configure it to do betwenn 15 and 10 taps a second
and as you start the app it self tap mthe plus icon and it will add a target in the screen which you can move arround and once you start the tapper you cant move it only pause it and then move it
I recommend to root, and if at somepoint they work it around you can unroot and you will be fine.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Magisk works as Root provider and Root Hider, at the moment It's the best root hider available, I work with Android and Magisk is the only Root Hider we can't detect.
Download De Fit app ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fitness.debugger ) sign in gmail (the same one you are using in pogo) turn on your adventure sync. You're good to go. No need to get a google fit and whatnot. But if you're using an ios. ehh, idk much lol.
Buy a unlocked htc one m9 https://www.ebay.com/itm/164304200288 turn off all auto updates. Make sure no apps were updated, including the OS and install THIS GPS spoof app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.marlove.mockgps. spoofing will never be safe but theoretically, this is the safest way. hope you get well soon.
~~Don't spread false information. GPS Joystick works perfectly fine.~~ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en_US
Edit: I am an idiot. Both are the same app. Ignore me.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
This. You need to enable the privacy mode, that will generate a new installation with random name. But that's only the first part. The following steps will require root permission, so if you are not comfortable with that I would advise against it.
You will need to locate the installed APK with new random name using a root explorer, I use ES file explorer. The location can be different for different devices, mine is under /data/app. Move the apk into a new folder under /system/priv-app. Uninstall both the Ninja GPS installed earlier. and reboot the device. You should see that the gps spoofer is back as system app (non-removable). Now if u run the spoofer, the system will not ask for mock location permission.
Hope it helps.
Edit: I forgot to mention, you will need systemless root. The only one i know is Magisk. Download it from xda and use your Magisk to hide root from play store. You cts profile should be green or else you won't be able to log into pogo.
If you are rooted, this App can revoke Permissions: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.federicogovoni.permissionsmanager
Let's find out which permissions we have to revoke... https://i.imgur.com/F1S9Uzp.png
First go to settings -> apps -> Google play services
Under your version says a number like: (0404blablabla) remember that number!!
And download the version with YOUR number from this website:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/
Should work after that
How did you flash xposed onto Nox?
Edit: For anyone wondering, you have to install the xposed framework installer apk. One version of the app doesn't let you install the framework directly from the app, so make sure you download the right one. As of right now, it's here.
Maybe here

You can teleport there to confirm, just don't do anything which may trigger cold down, ie spin a stop or throw a pokeball unless the weather is good
TWRP is not a programm, but a custom recovery. And you don't install it, you boot into it. And also you need an unlocked bootloader to be able to boot into TWRP. https://twrp.me/Devices/
Just google TWRP+how to boot into and your device name and see if you can do it or if your phone is locked.
The itools key is a one time purchase for up to five devices. The subscription is only if you want advance gpx routes, but I'd recommend using the bot method to move and not using gpx routes as that can get you banned. My accounts haven't been banned yet.
If you check this link the premium/platinum licenses are lifetime use.
This one is where you'd buy the license. The premium bundle is fine. Even if you're only using one of the five it never hurts to have more in case you get another device to use them on or give them to friends.
I honestly wouldn't go with Union Square. Would recommend doing the Smali Patcher method and then downloading this spoofer app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.fakegpsjoystick it is the best spoofer app available on Android as far as I am aware. Just be aware to uninstall Smali Patcher and reinstall it every time you update your phone to prevent boot loops.
Try ISLAND, it creates a secondary workspace.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.island&hl=en_US
Trading works with 4GB and Android 6.0.
Yes, took me some time to figure it out myself, but here is the reason and a simple solution.
As you know, in order to play on a rooted device, you have to add Pokemon Go to the Magisk hide list. It turns out, Pokemon Go starts another independent process responsible for the Go Plus in the background. This one also checks if your device is rooted. If you don't hide Magisk from this process aswell, it won't connect your Go Plus.
Here is what you do. Download a terminal app (personally I use this app).
Type the following command:
Su
magiskhide --add com.nianticlabs.pokemongo:pgp
You should now be good to go.
saw this on facebook, not sure if it actually works:
>There’s a work around. > >The current solution is to rename the joystick you want to use. In the play store there are apps that can clone other android apps. There’s an app called "App Cloner." Rename your joystick and it should work. NewGPS is currently on the blacklist.
Hi everyone,
I have just found an app that takes your initial altitude (most probably from google) and then gives a random altitude to pokemon go based on a range around the initial altitude. Therefore, the altitude never stays the same, which in some way mimics the altitude given by a standard phone.
I would like to see if anyone has already used this app and what are your findings/reviews.
The app is free on play store. I am not sure if I am allowed to share apps here, in case I am not allowed please let me know and I will remove the link asap.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
“Sos house call” was just the certificate used to sign the app , it’s irrelevant. If your info was indeed compromised by the ++ app , it would have to be malware injected in the app itself ( meaning iosninjas is responsible) I honestly don’t they are responsible simply because more people would be talking about it . Most likely your info was compromised somewhere else . Maybe check here https://haveibeenpwned.com
The guide to solve this (since there hasn't been a comprehensive answer on this thread):
Feel free to give an upvote or some gold if it helped :)
I'm using fakeGPS joystick.
Download the Google Play Services version 12.6.85 APK from here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/google-play-services-12-6-85-090408-197041431-android-apk-download/download/
Then go to the Google Play Store>Settings And switch the "Auto-update apps" option off to "Do not auto-update apps".
Go to your phone's Settings>Apps>Google Play Services and click on uninstall. If you can't see an uninstall button, press the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner and it'll be there. If you can't uninstall the Google Play services, go to:
Settings>Security>Device admin apps and deselect anything that's selected as an admin app, especially "Find My Device".
After that, you should be able to uninstall Google Play Services.
After uninstalling Google Play Services, uninstall Pokémon Go and your Fake GPS or whichever mock location app you're using and restart your phone.
Then, reinstall Google Play Services from the APK you downloaded only. After it's done installing, download Pokémon Go and your GPS spoofer again and it should work.
It's an APK you install and it consequently installs "modules", AKA a manager ( what I just said). .for lack of a better term apps.
It's like a repo/manager on jailbroken ios devices
Admittedly I haven't used it because I have a J7 samsung and right now using FakeGPS so I have no need.
That's called rubber banding. You will probably need to use a program called Smali Patcher to fix it but it's not a hard fix. You basically just turn on Debugging in your phone's developer settings and hook it back up to your PC. Download the Smali Patcher program and hit start. It will automatically patch your phone and then creat a Magisk Module that you just move over to your phone and install with Magisk Module. Easy as that. You can find the program here.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053
Alternatively you can try changing your phone's location settings. I would try setting your GPS to "Device Only" and also try turning off Google's "Improve Location Accuracy" setting if you can find it. This fixes the issue on some devices but chances are you will need Smali.
noot familiar with the app itself! BUT I know on iOS a lot of the "ads" in my various app installs get blocked by using adguard DNS as my DNS server with install directions for installing it onto a mobile device, or even the router in your home. totally free.
https://adguard.com/en/adguard-dns/overview.html
i rarely see any ads anymore.....except on youtube, those still come through unfortunately.
People will tell you that disabling location services will give you a red warning.
I personally have always used this and have never seen a red warning or shadow ban. After reading all of the related posts on this subreddit it looks more like confirmation bias. If anyone can show me something that says otherwise, I'd love to read it.
If you're using an updated version of Google Play Services you will also need to disable Fused Location Services, found under Google Play Services when using an app such as Disable Services.
This service re-enables itself on boot.
It's been suggested another way to deal with the updated version of Google Play Services is to clear your cache and/or data. I personally haven't had any luck with this.
As an alternative to using systemizer you can use lucky patcher to make your GPS app a system app. Lucky patcher can also be used to remove ads and sometimes get IAP for free, in other apps not related to Pokemon GO.
Also make sure that you hide Pokemon GO from within Magisk Manager. And if you use a GO+ or gotcha, fire up your terminal app and enter in the following commands:
su magiskhide --add com.nianticlabs.pokemongo:pgp
Sure. You download altstore and the patcher here https://altstore.io Then you download the ipa file for ispoofer here https://www.ispoofer.com/how-to-install-ios-app-via-altstore/
You can find a youtube tutorial but also read both links because they have instructions.
No one here will recommend you this because sometimes people get banned but I'm not spending any money. Look for spoofer rules, like respecting cooldown and all that.
You can install altstore with your Mac and side load the ispoofer .ipa onto your phone. Or jailbreak your phone and use a GPS faking app along side the legit pogo app. I recommend the latter.
Their Gumroad (Selling Website)
You will see a message saying ”this action is temporarily unavailable, that just means that they’re out of stock. They update when they are back in stock on their discord.
The desktop version is a monthly subscription and over time would cost more than just buying the device and using mobile.
The app itself is free, but in order to get it to work you would need the devices which are not free.

I would give this app a try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre
This is the only app I managed to get working on my newer phone and with pogo when enabling the fake gps in-app setting called unrooted mode and putting the phone in high accuracy.
Here's the app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
1.Install the app.
2.Open the app.
3.At the top you should see 'privacy mode' (or something similar) written in red near the top. Click on that. Select generate.
4.Choose whatever name you would like.
5.Install this clone with the name you gave it. (you need to enable all installation from unknown sources to do this, but the app should prompt you to do so during the installation process)
6.Make sure the clone app is now there.
7.Delete the original version of the app. (the one you downloaded from the play store)
8.Enable developer options. (Settings>About Phone>Press 'Build Number' until a pop up tells you, that you are now a developer)
9.Go in to developer options.
10.select your gps joystick clone as your mock locations app. (look for mock locations setting somewhere in developer options)
11.now just go in to the app, enter whatever whatever coordinates you like & press start
a joystick should pop up as a screen overlay.
You should now be able to spoof.
Found this with this app from google play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
You need root, then you can disable the required services as seen in the screenshot.
I think this could be worth knowing...
What do you guys think?
I've been using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.dvilleneuve.lockito
together with this Xposed Module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.brandonnalls.mockmocklocations
Version 1.4 doesn't seem to work with Pokemon Go but 1.3 does.
12.6.85 may not have 100400 variant (10xxxx targets Android 9+, which was not officially released then) You can try 090400 variant, the only difference being that it targets Android 8+ and may be the best solution to your problem
>LG G5 (H831
LG G5 H831 cannot be rooted because this model has a locked bootloader. Although you cannot root your phone, you can downgrade Google Play Services to 12.6.85 not 12.6.89. Find one here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/
If you can't uninstall your latest version then you have to downgrade your Android OS to an older firmware, but you cannot update to the latest and greatest Android OS. You may be stuck with an annoying Android Update Notification. All hell breaks loose if you accidentally install the update. Only rooting your phone blocks Android Updates, so you can stay on your Marshmallow 6.0 or Nougat 7.0 rom and whatever Security Patch level forever. Every time Google Play Services updates, it has zero effect on your spoofing.
> There is no 040400 version of the .apk unfortunatel
Ya sure, and what is this?!? https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/google-play-services-12-6-85-040400-197041431-android-apk-download/
People, please start reading carefully and stop over-looking the obvious!!!
Download Google Play Services from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/
The .APK has to match the numbers behind the dash symbol. For example " Version 12.8.74 (020406-209656296) " you find one with the same "-209656296" and that's how you find the right one for your phone. You need version 12.6.85 then find the numbers after the dash symbol then you download it.
I never messed with a mode. Hang on, is this the one you installed?
Its a bug in the newest version (0.111.4). Throw a berry, run away and you're in trouble. Downgrading to previous version is the way to go, Download 0.111.3 from niantic apkmirror (https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/niantic-inc/pokemon-go/pokemon-go-0-111-3-release/pokemon-go-0-111-3-android-apk-download/) and uninstall the version you're running now.
This is for my phone it fits my DPI etc... If u go on fgl pro click on the left then click fix Google played services it tells you your phone model etc... Use the one that fits ur phone
disable play store then downgrade, mine is still the 12.6.85 from when google downgraded it, if you want to update your apps go to https://www.apkmirror.com/ the site is legit, i updated pokemon from here today, the only fix for the auto update on services is to disable play store, and yes it works :v
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/
I'd recommend using a 12.5 or older. I tried two of the 12.6's and neither worked for me but I am having much better success with 12.5 so far. Still getting GPS Signal not found, but i was getting that pre-update anyways. Now I can at least play lol.
I assume you aren't a spoofer? Cuz if you are then you are already breaking ToS for PoGo so adding an auto clicker doesn't really make much of a difference lol. But I'll link my favorite auto clicker down below. You can't get it from the play store anymore so you have to download it from an APK store but it's super nice. You aren't bombarded by constant ads and you can have multiple clicking areas on the screen at once. As for the whole ToS argument, I'm sure auto clickers are against the rules. Companies purposely make their ToS extremely broad that way they can ban you for almost anything. That being said I've never seen or heard of anyone being banned for using an auto clicker and I've personally been using one for years with no issue. I doubt it's something they actively monitor for.
https://apkpure.com/tapping-auto-clicker/com.autoclicker.clicker
Try the app Go Walking Fake GPS Location Link. I use it with Pokemon Go and it works really well.
It allows you to use the accelerometer to walk around in-game. Just can just walk to the pokestops and gyms and really search the area for Pokemon. To make it work with Pokemon Go you need root and the Xposed Framework Installer. Then use the module Mock Mock Locations to mock Pokemon Go.
Disclaimer: I am the developer and I am happy about every feedback
Like other dude said, Smali Patcher is your best bet. Disable expert mode and uncheck all settings in your GPS Joystick app. You can keep distance meter checked if you are using GPS Joystick by the App Ninjas.
Smali is pretty simple. Just download the Smali Patcher .exe from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053/page1
Once downloaded, place the Smali.exe into its own separate folder on your desktop. Right click and run the .exe as administrator. Watch the info bar at the bottom of the page as it will need to download some files when you first start it. Once the Smali Patcher program says "idle" at the bottom, you are ready to begin.
If you haven't already, make sure Android Debugging is checked under your developer settings and plug your device in to your PC. Once your computer recognizes your device, you can hit the "ADB Patch" button to begin the process. Be warned that you may have to restart the process if the Smali Patcher .exe gets stuck at any point during the patching process. After the process is complete, the Smali Patcher .exe should create a Magisk module .zip in the same folder that you moved the .exe to. Be sure to move that Magisk Module to your device and then install the module with Magisk Manager.
Smali patcher https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053
Has various patches it can apply and one of them allows you to easily mock your location
>Mock locations - Hide mock locations status, allowing apps like Pokemon GO to treat them as genuine location updates. >Secure flag - Allow screenshots/screensharing in secure apps. >Signature verification - Disable signature verification allowing modification/execution of signed system apps. >Signature spoofing - Enable signature spoofing app permission. and more.
You need a PC to use Smali patcher but you don't actually need to use Smali patcher yourself You can extract the required files out of your phone using a root explorer and share them with someone else whom can run Smali patcher on their computer for you.
Smali patcher can be run inside a virtual machine Step 1 in part 2 is just Read this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053 Because that thread has all the instructions how to use it. Step 2 is to BACKUP your phone! You should perform this Step2 on a regular basis. You risk your phone potentially going into a bootloop and so a backup first is useful. I have Never had my device go into a boot loop after using Smali patcher.
You can skip step 3 because you don't have a computer to do step 3, Instead Follow these "INSTRUCTIONS (ALTERNATIVE METHOD - FOLLOW ONLY IF ADB METHOD FAILS) ::" "4. Select your deodexed "services.jar". Easiest way to extract this file is by pulling it from your deodexed rom .ZIP file, you can find it in "/system/framework/"."
You can get your services.jar from your ROM zip or from your phones internal with a root explorer. When you have your Services.jar you can send that to a friend who can run Smali patcher for you and send back the Smali module that is created using your Services.jar
Then you can install the patch inside Magisk Manager. If something goes wrong you can disable Magisk and this should disable the module so you should NOT get stuck in a boot loop if you use Magisk. Starting your phone in SAFE Mode will disable all third party apps including Magisk manager which should stop any modules loading.
You can follow the steps that do not require debugging but you will need a PC
You can use a root explorer app to copy the file you need manually
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053
Follow the " INSTRUCTIONS (ALTERNATIVE METHOD - FOLLOW ONLY IF ADB METHOD FAILS) :: "
" Select your deodexed "services.jar". Easiest way to extract this file is by pulling it from your deodexed rom .ZIP file, you can find it in "/system/framework/". "
to unroot, just flash Twrp with Odin, and boot it. Then from Twrp install 'unsu.zip' , then Magisk.zip
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067 https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
now should not receive 'unsupported' error anymore .for the rubberbanding issue, use Smali Patcher to create the module. https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053
Remove the systemized (expert) mode joystick, install as normal app, add it to Mock App in Developer settings. Or use Gps Joystick from AppNinjas.
also, you need SmaliPatcher to create the module for Magisk. https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053
A general word of advice.
Read the original xda thread.
There's tons of misinformation going around on this subreddit and most people are absolutely clueless. It's better to read up yourself.
> FusedLocation API GPS spoofers are NOT compatible with the mock location patch.. your required to use a traditional GPS spoofer!
Also don't install the app as system app. That's half the point of this thing. I mean you can in theory, but then disable system mode. Which then it makes no sense to have it as system app. But to each their own.
The event starts in 5 minutes for Asia-Pacific Region. Accuweather says it will rain for the next few hours. FYI: https://p337.info/pokemongo/countdowns/community-day.php https://www.accuweather.com/en/nz/wellington/250938/hourly-weather-forecast/250938
redmi 5a is even easier...DO NOT USE THAT IMAGE ON 5a....https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomiredmi5a.html anyway i'm sure you'll run into bootloop, for not installing dm-verity zip in the correct order...
General? Ok.
0) Try one of the spoofing apps without rooting. If it does not work :
1) Unlock your bootloader if your device has one. (This will wipe the phone)
2) Flash TWRP, flash your custom ROM if you want one and flash Magisk at the same time, without letting the system boot between those steps because some stock ROMs will restore the stock recovery if not rooted. (It's more complicated than that but this is it in practice)
3) Make sure the device passes SafetyNet. If it does not, then make it pass it.
4) Hide Magisk
5) Hide PoGo in Magisk
6) Install your spoofing app
7) Have the app repackage itself under a random name
8) Make your spoofing app a system app
9) On Oreo : Fix the permission files so the spoofing app will run as a system app
You'll find that many devices cannot get past step 1 and the ways to do step 1 vary from one device to another. You clearly overestimate how unified Android is. The US version of many Samsung devices that use Snapdragon cannot have their bootloader unlocked while the International versions of those same models that use Exynos can. Even within the US, some carriers will allow bootloader unlocking while others won't on the same models (notably, Verizon disallows it). For Huawei devices, you now have to purchase unlock codes from a shady website to unlock the bootloader of the device because Huawei stopped sending codes. Many devices have no support whatsoever for doing any of these things simply because no developer is interested in them. Just look at this list of Samsung devices and notice everything that's missing : https://twrp.me/Devices/Samsung/
If you just want instructions on how to get a spoofing app working, then just give this FAQ a look to get an idea of how a general guide is not possible : http://www.incorporateapps.com/fake_gps_route_faq.html
certificates get revoked by apple alllllll the time....my best advice is to use a DNS blocklist such as adguard DNS....or nextdns.io...you can add the apple revoke servers and it will stop the revokes....

Or....check out "NoThx app" or "Nesstool app" from google.....they are made by tutuapp or tweakbox (sorry cant remember which.....) they work as a VPN to block access to apple's revoke servers.....
there is nothing groundbreaking about the gotcha......you can literally hold down your "pokemon go plus" button down and it;ll auto catch too!....you culd use a tight rubber band or even a 2" binder clip lol https://bayfiles.com/F59bu06eqf/keychain_png literally does the same thing as gotcha, without the "pretty digital bracelet" i like to tease my wife about )
When moving from point to point (walking or teleporting) kill the app on the phone, then restart it when you reach you destination. there is anecdotal evidence and analysis (nothing that you could call hard evidence) to suggest that if you leave the app open while you are walking around with the GPS overrider software, that the software may not take into account elevation/altitude of the location coordinates and report the elevation of where the actual PC location is (if at all), and that the fact that the elevation of the "street level" at any point on the globe is known to the Niantic servers which will actively compare what the game reports and what their map shows. for some reason (it's also only reported) that this only occurs while there's active movement, if your location on the software (and therefore in-game) is not changing, then this elevation check doesn't happen. Niantic can only check to see if you're trying to "walk through a mountain" if you're not standing still. hence the advice, kill the game app, walk or teleport to your new location, restart the game app (aka "the bot method"). check out these linkes more detailed informaiton - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0MgiJmIfLs & https://www.thinkskysoft.com/how-to-avoid-ban-in-pokemon/
The best place to start is the iTools Discord group. The first link is where to get it, and the second link is to their Discord channel which you can use to get more info, and also be sure to set it up that if they don't have them in stock, you'll be notified when they do.
iPoGo or iTools are your best bets now.
iTools is $50 USD, the safest method for iOS as of now, and uses the legit app so it's harder to detect. iTools is a bit harder to get, it's a fairly long process, look at my previous posts on my profile and I have a guide for it. Basically, to get it to work you order a device for $50 from their website and install their app through test flight in the app store, this method has been around 3+ years and hasn’t really had any reported bans.
iPoGo is free, has a better in-game interface, and is fairly easy to download compared to iSpoofer has been. The downside to this is that this method is not safe since it's a third-party app. You can download this through a guide on their website.
You'll have to order it from https://www.thinkskysoft.com/itools/ and wait a bit to get it. Plus you may have a bit of a longer wait, if its not in stock. But it'll be by far safer, than iSpoofer or iPogo.
It's sometimes detected by Pokemon Go. What I do is this -- I login to the game, and then while it's running, I turn on the VPN and it will keep running the game. I use NordVPN and thier IPs are blocked by different apps for some reason. Might be different for a smaller VPN provider.
> Poke Genie is a safe, reliable, and simple-to-use tool to help Pokemon Go trainers evaluate hidden values, analyze battle stats, organize Pokemon collection, plan raid and PvP battles, generate custom Pokemon names, simulate powerup costs and purification results, etc. -- an essential and comprehensive guide for every Pokemon Go player.
It is possible to run PoGo on a rooted device. Prerequisites:
I use an application called Island. It enables the work profile in Android, which sets aside a part of the storage specifically for those apps that you want separated from your main storage. Those apps cannot see outside of the work profile, including PoGo.
At this point, you should be good to go. Let me know if I butchered the instructions here, it's been a while since I did this.
Disclaimer: I use a OnePlus 6, and their SafetyNet implementation is...different. My phone is rooted, but I don't spoof. I just hang out here for the technical goodness..
Project treble separates the core os from the manufacturer customizations. This allows for faster updates. A cool side effect is that you can generally install a new Android version even before the manufacturer touches it. This is why every treble enabled phone can install android 11 (for example).
To check if your phone has treble use this: treble check
The Android 11 treble install guide link
I may have read that the Android 11 treble requires Android 9, the process might be different for Android 10
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.mashapp.coorward
This saves you from copy and paste Coordinates. When you click in any Coordinate link automatically that app transfers the Coordinates to GPS joystick and automatically teleport.
You can configure it to open pogo after teleport, so to teleport to any Coordinates you only need to click on the link
You need to have GPS Joystick by app ninjas and only works with Pokedex100 and Pokexperience channels
Most of those apps are repackaging the apps which means they would be signed with a different signature which will prevent things from working and potentially be a red flag for Niantic. You want either Island or Shelter which make use of the Android work profile stuff to run things under a different user account essentially but still while using your normal account. I use Island, but mostly because that was the only one available at the time I was setting up my stuff to run 2 at the same time.
I use a 2Gb RAM smarthphone with the same method (Smali + Magisk), 3Gb is more than suffcient.
I had this problem and it annoyed me lots, solved by using an app that locks the joystick in memory to the lowest priority making it not being killed by android.
You will need to grant root access on the app, and then lock the joystick on it.
It solved my problem, you should try before changing ROM.

I dont use any spoofing app that anyone has posted on here (as far as i know bc i did this a few years ago)
Basically I just downloaded FakeGPSfree (has a blue compass icon in the app store)..enabled developer mode....went into developer settings and made the mock GPS location app that app. Turned off all google location services including the 911 service and location history in your google account settings. Go into the app and set it to no root mode after its installed.
The secret is to get your location working, but cover it from the satellites. You can put foil over your GPS chip, or a few other methods, but I go into a shop in my backyard with metal walls and a metal roof and that keeps me from rubberbanding.
Idk if it would matter but Im on the HTC Desire 530 with android 6.0.1..and it works great. Only downside is i have to double tap my location in the app...press play...then go back to GO everytime I want to move. Not too bad and im used to it now....but a joystick would be pretty fkn cool haha.
App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre&hl=en_US)
*oh just wanted to add I didnt have to roll back my google play services version either. Idk if its just this specific phone or what. I almost forgot...you dont want to use high accuracy in your location settings. Set the GPS mode to "device only".
Go to settings in gps joystick and tell me what you have enabled.

Also, install this and run it. Tell me if it turns up green or red. It should be green with these values:
It's Rooted with Magisk. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps_route for GPS. I used Titanium Backup Pro to extract the files for Root GPS and Joystick Go and then used ES File Manager to copy them over as a system-priv app.
It's much easier on iPad with iSpoofer and their functionality is the best, especially if you pay for pro. You're just more likely to become part of a Chinese botnet

have you tried Parallel Space ? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lbe.parallel.intl&hl=es
Found this from xda forum, works well for me, either can solve the magisk problem, and also able to avoid the game try to test and scan the mobile's inner/outer storage further by building a sandbox and put it there. Only problem heard is the app not working for those who use Google account to login

I'm using g5s plus A8.1 rooted, currently using this app.
PS no need to worry about Google Play Service update and such, and dont forget to turn off Google Location History just to be safe
Unlocking bootloader may wipe all your data from the phone, so prepare a full backup first !
I got a OnePlus 5 and I'm using FGL Pro, everything is working fine for now. But there may be a few things you need to set up, like disabling Google Play Services and auto-updates since the last security patch. All of this is explained inside the application.
You can use this app, but you need Magisk hide with pogo and use the Magisk Systemizer terminal module to enable the expert mode.

Also in the process of getting the Go-tcha working on a very cheap Chinese phoebe I stumbled across Go Plus Companion (not to be confused with the Go Companion) in the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kingpuller.gocompanion&hl=en_GB&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dgo+plus+companion&pcampaignid=APPU_1_wMZHW4CgOM7VkwWayaU4)
If you install this on a rooted device and click on the little 3 dots at the top right it has a root option that automarically does the same process as I linked to in other post.
No root needed, Google Play Link there's no official tutorial but im at work so i can't search youtube but a quick "FGL Pro Pokemon Go" should bring up lots of results
Im using android 6.0 so i dont need to root like you have but rubber banding is when your GPS location from your phone is sent to pokemon go at the same time your spoofed location does causing your in game avatar to run back and forth at impossibles speeds.
Like I said this is fixed in my situation by physically blocking the GPS chip on my phone with tin foil.
Now if you don't have this problem your app might be killing it somehow.. and not returning it?
that app you are using might somehow permanently remove GPS functionality from your device. uninstalling it and restarting your phone would be a good way to check this? if thats the case I'd recommend a different app.
I know you paid for that app but I'd reccomend :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
[sorry this info is unrelated to your problem but good to know for a beginner]
in that app you can make a "private" app version of that one so if Niantic does a ban based on the black list app that they have (which they've done before.. well tested the feature at least) your app wont be on the black list as its a custom one you make.
the only problem with this app is it rubber bands you from your actual location. now, like I said that can be solved with tinfoil wrapping the back of your device and I found for it to work 100% it also has to cover the camera. if you have an otterbox you can do this without your phone looking terrible.
that app you are using might somehow permanently remove GPS functionality from your device.
Sorry for the long post, feel free to ask any follow up questions.
also what OS do you have installed on your device? android 6, 7, or 8?
Stop using that, else you'll be shadowbanned very soon. Use this instead: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
Select private mode and create a clone, rename it to anything, and then uninstall the original app.
Yes. Just use your new phone as a wifi hotspot or use your home wifi.
Just root it. Use an app like: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.systemappmover
to move your GPS joystick and/or Fake GPS Route to system apps.
Then reboot.
Uninstall Su.
Spoof.
Error 12 means pogo knows you are spoofing and they will track you. Continues spoofing with error 12 is a most certain SB or at least a softban. You have to avoid error 12 like the plague!
Error 11 is better. Error 11 tells pogo that there is no gps signal on the phone. If you can't root your phone or move the spoofing app to system then you have to remove error 11 by updating your spoofed position.
This is my goto app and it seems to work on unrooted devices even with the newer security patches. I use the system operation though.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps_route
I am using the app fake gps route. If your phone is not rooted you have to check two checkboxes in the app settings to make the joystick work over pogo.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps_route
Google Play services isn't an app that'll show up in your app draw and might not even show up when you're looking at the list of apps that need updating.
So if you're lucky, you may still be on an older version.
Your security patch is new. The errors are explained in this post which hopefully will be a sticky again soon. If you don't want to root you can use this app with a joystick with the unrooted app setting.
Which red warning? The one that says third partyapps installed and spoof?
If yes, then use this app instead, it has a no-root mode too https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre
I'm not rooted. I have a Galaxy note 5 software 6.0.1 and January 1st 2017 security patch. If you have that follow these steps. It's what someone posted here
Uninstall the game, then after u follow the steps below reinstall it, open the mock app
download: Here's the app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
1.Install the app.
2.Open the app.
3.At the top you should see 'privacy mode' (or something similar) written in red near the top. Click on that. Select generate.
4.Choose whatever name you would like. This will create a copy of the same app but under a different name so Niantic won't be able to detect it and give you a red wanting when you run it.
5.Install this clone with the name you gave it. (you need to enable all installation from unknown sources to do this in settings, but the app should prompt you to do so during the installation process)
Good point, I see on eBay some come from China. So who knows if those are knock offs. I bought mine from Gamestop today like a sucker. it was $45 which is on the high end, but I live a bit remote and don't want to wait a week or so for shipping. Maybe take a few old console games in for trade to help offset it? That is if you don't mind the horrible trade in prices.
Edit: I think Amazon has them for $37 or so.
Depends on your OS. Many 6.x devices work with FakeGPS GO.
Just google how to set up location and accuracy settings.
It's harder with 7.x but possible.
Check the Guides thread for something that might work for you.
Spoofing on OnePlus3T for a few weeks now, running Android 7.1.1 with may 2017 security patch, using Magisk to (hide) root & spoofing app Fake GPS Joystick & Routes Go. Faked location all around the world and got a few soft bans. Got red warning today :'(
