You can download an app from the Play Store like Droid Info or All Tools (All Tools has all kinds of neat handy tools, Droid Info just gives you info about your phone) and it'll show you what architecture your phone is. Or if you wanna tell me what phone you have, I can probably look it up for ya.
I downloaded this App, Droid Hardware Info and took screenshots of the relevant details, such that for APK downloads I have the info on my phone.

We first need to find out if your device has an Exynos or Snapdragon processor. If you're unsure you can download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo and then go over to "System" to check.
Go download Droid Hardware Info https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo then go into the system tab and let me know what it says beside "Instruction Sets"
This APK was built for arm64 and it works for my arm64-v8a so I'm wondering if yours is different.
Did you check what system you have, like ARM64 and so?
Otherwise, use something like Droid Info: • https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
And go in under System, look under Processor and look at "Instructions set", to find out for what version you should download...
Or look for it directly at: https://galaxystore.samsung.com/detail/com.samsung.android.keyscafe
EDIT: My ignorant self just realized that that app might be a Samsung device exclusive - something that slipped my mind, since I didn't get it straight from the Samsung store. Sorry for that!
Hello I assume you are talking about apks. It depends on your architecture. Check this app to find your architecture https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo&hl=en_US&gl=US Once opened, go to System > Processor > CPU Architecture. Apkpure the oldest one I could find is V6.1.0 (armeabi-v7a + x86) On Apkmirror it is V6.0.1 (armeabi + armeabi-v7a) New devices usually have arm64 so this may work well https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/rovio-entertainment-corporation/angry-birds/angry-birds-7-1-0-release/
Note these apps have not been updated for a long time so it may not work or be optimized for newer Androids
To find out out what processor I have I downloaded Droid hardware info
AFAIK the 32-bit version can also run on a 64-bit phone, but not the other way around. So try the 64-bit version first and if that doesn't work, use the other one. Or find out your hardware with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
T-Mo in the US, or Europe?
To find out which chipset you have, you can use the app called Droid Info and it will be listed under the system catagory. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo&hl=en
Qualcomm is Snapdragon, Samsung is Exynos.
I haven't ever faced an issue similar to re signing apps. I'm pretty sure this is a rare issue. There can be three issues. 1st I don't know what causes is but can be solved by deleting the app and installing the update APK afterwards. 2nd issue can be caused by lack of storage space. 3rd issue is related to the Application and Architecture of the Chipset. If they are not compatible the app does not install. As you can see like a computer there are 32 bit and 64 bit versions of hardware and software. If you are using a 64 bit Chipset Architecture (which you can find from Droid Info) it will run most apps.
I recommend you make sure that updates are from the same source or Modder. This is currently all I know and how to troubleshoot similar issues.
Thanks for this info. I found my droid info for the APK download, and it still failed. Any APK first timers like me out there - I just uninstalled all Chrome updates until the December bug fix.
Google Playstore -> Chrome -> Uninstall Updates
Yes. You can get it from APK Mirror. These are clean, legit copies of the APK. Just ID the correct version you need (you can use Droid Info to see which processor your device has), download it, uninstall the new version, then install the old (the old version will not install over a newer version). You'll need to make sure your settings allow for installing side loaded apps. Make sure you toggle off auto updating in Google Play for Plex, else you'll be right back where you are now.
When I see new versions, I install and test. If it fails, I uninstall then reinstall the version I know that works again. I keep a copy of the APK on my device for this reason. Who knows if/when they'll ever fix this. They don't even acknowledge it as a problem on their forums (but I've seen devs respond to other problems). I recommend making some noise at them. The more people that do, the more they can look into this.
What version Chromecast do you have? What is your router? What devices are you using? My only possible lead is that maybe Asus routers have something to do with it, but it's pretty weak evidence so far. Client hardware doesn't seem to matter, so it has to be the app or maybe router settings, but why it just started happening with the new versions after working fine for so long, I dunno. I didn't change anything on my end.
In my experience with phones, random reboots are either a firmware specific problem (generally post OTA, especially with Samsung, anyway), or because there's some kind of battery health decline.
Have you done anything to test your battery health? I'm not sure how accurate the Droid Info app's monitor is, but maybe this will tell you if the health is not good:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo&hl=en_US
Headphone jack AND vibration are also not working? Are you running the Android P beta preview or anything like that? I am on my Pixel 2 to fairly decent results, personally... but I know when I had gen 1 Pixel XL last year and I put it on the Android O preview, my Pixel went from having literally 0 problems ever, to having a bunch of battery drain issues and major UI problems that would make the apps shelf not work and other strange stuff that required me to restart it to fix it.
Just to isolate the problems, have you tried multiple headphones/3.5mm aux cables, or checked to see if there's lint that's preventing a connection or something like that?
In terms of the motor for vibration, kind of the same. Either the motor has worn out, or there's a software problem making the phone improperly use haptics. If I were you, I'd be pretty annoyed with the phone and would have backed up all of my files, SMS, Nova launcher settings and what not and then done a factory reset and just cut all the other stuff out first. It's definitely annoying to have to do this, but I'd say do it to be sure it's a hardware problem or not.
Try this: droid info on Google play store
Use this app and it will tell you.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
Once you open the app go to the "system" tab and look at "Instruction Sets".
This app can tell you what architecture your phone is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
You need to set the play services back to the default version, and then upgrade from the APK. After you figure out your phone's software to get the default version back and upgrade, DISABLE the Download Manager to avoid the automatic upgrading that keeps happening. The only thing is, that you'll need to enable it back on temporarily when you want to update any of your apps.
How to fix Google Play services update problem

I use the free version of Fake GPS from IncorporateApps. I followed their FAQ's instruction to downgrade Google Play services. And it worked...for an hour. Then my phone automatically updated Google Play services to the latest version again.
So, beside the steps in Incorporate's FAQ, I had to disable system software update too. Below is the steps I did. Several hours now and my Google Play services still stays at version 12.6.85 ! (knocking on wood !)
My phones are Samsung J7+, Samsung J7 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. No root. The menu will be slightly different on different phones.
- go to Settings > (search "device admin") > uncheck "Find My Device"
- if there are other things under, uncheck all of them
- you can come back to enable them afterwards
- Droid Hardware Info
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
- Play Services Information
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amapps.playtest
Google Play Store
- Open Play Store > settings > Auto-update apps, select "Do not auto-update apps"
Software auto update
- Xiaomi: settings > (search "updater") > System app updater > Auto updates, select "don't update"
- Samsung: settings > Developer options > turn off "Auto update system"
- open Play Services Information app
- take a screen capture. Will need the version number later.
- tap "app info"
-- Samsung: tap 3 dots on the upper right corner > uninstall updates
-- xiaomi: tap uninstall updates at the bottom of the screen
- tap "storage"
-- samsung: tap "manage storage" > clear all data
-- xiaomi: tap "clear data" at the bottom of the screen
The version to use is 12.6.85 from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-12-6-85-release/
- select the correct variant to download for your phone. Open Droid Hardware Info app and look for 3 things
: architecture - "System" tab > Instruction Sets
: Minimum version - "Device" tab > OS Version
: Screen DPI - "Device" tab > under "Display" > software density
- compare the digits before "-" in the () with the digits in the () of the version before we uninstall the update. (the screen capture in step 4)
- download the correct variant and install the update
Hope it helps !

You can check what architecture your device has with this app.
I don't know personally but I'm sure this will have it on the first page
Here are the APKs to pre-removal Google Photos http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/photos/photos-2-17-0-158898286-release/
Choose the right version for you device by downloading Droid Info

Try running this one - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo and see what you get.
Yes use arm64. You can use Droid Hardware Info to confirm the chipset architecture.
Er det sådan noget du leder efter? Under system kan du læse CPU arkitektur.
I used this. Also in my app settings I disabled the google play store while im playing
Use this app and check CPU architecture.
I use this app when I need to know something like SoC: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo
