FAQ @ Changelly
> We don’t fix currency rates because of the volatile nature of cryptocurrency: the rate of any currency can fluctuate by the minute. This is why the final rate may be slightly higher or lower than expected at the end of a transaction.
> Keeping the rates fixed would require us to cover market risks and currency volatility, which as a result would make our commission fee much higher. Instead, Changelly charges quite a low commission fee (0.5%) for crypto-to-crypto swaps and offers the best available rate at the moment of transaction.
> To learn more about cryptocurrency exchange rates, how do they form and differ, and to find out which Changelly partners use the fixed-rate mechanism, please read the article: cryptocurrency exchange rate
You are probably seeing the fees from the whole block!
Coinbase accumulate Transactions.
Imagine it as "not leaving the House for a single Piece of Bread". They wait till they have a certain amount of errands to run.
The Block has severeal transactions in it, and all of them together have a fee. Your fee is a fraction of that, based on the amount of BTC you moved. If you go to blockchair.com and investigate the adress of your block, you can see which transactions were made within that block, and should be able to see that your recieving adress is one of many
I found some instructions here but I haven't used either Mycelium or Coinomi so I can't vouch for them.
You could also use your Mycelium 12 word seed in Electron Cash
I think we don't have a way to sweep a private key/paper wallet in the webwallet. So you have to use another wallet.
Start with bitcoin. An easy way is to create a new wallet in Electrum with the private key and send everything to the Trezor. (Note: there are scam electrum sites. Don't trust the google search results. You can navigate to electrum.org via bitcoin.org).
Bitcoin Cash: Do the same with electron cash.
Bitcoin Gold: Don't use Electron Gold, it's a scam. Use the full node (it takes a day to sync with a fast internet connection, may take much longer with slow internet), or some other wallet you think you can trust. Import the private key, send to Trezor.
Yes, it's on the play store ( and source code here ) . Be warned, I didn't have much time lately to spent on the app, and looks like that something at Dropbox has changed, so it may not work correctly.
Hi, the data-format is open-sourced, so you could make a compatible app. We already did an Android app ( download here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.madriguera.pma ) and it's open-source too ( https://github.com/F7U12Team/password-manager ). This android version included a lasstpass import functionality.
Have.... you looked it up?
https://metamask.io/faqs.html - "Which Tokens does Metamask support?"
It only supports eth and eth-based tokens, none of the ones I listed.
You have to do it one by one.
Make sure to be careful, e.g., even for BTC there are scam electrum sites that look exactly like the original one. The original is https://electrum.org/, but please double-check that before trusting me :)
BTG can be a problem as there are probably more scam wallets than working ones.
Trezor (both One and T) will support the majority of Stellar operations, to join an inflation pool you need the SetOptions operation, which will be supported.
In the first run, you'll be able to do this using this tutorial (https://www.lumenauts.com/tutorials/how-to-join-the-inflation-pool step 1-3) but providing the raw unsigned transaction to trezor using our python-trezor command line utility.
We plan to add support to the account viewer (https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/) where you can sign Stellar transaction directly using your browser (the browser communicates with trezor instead of python-trezor). This will make it more user-friendly and you won't need to use python-trezor. When this will be finished the tutorial's step 4 and 5 will apply as well.
I believe about four other wallets (see some here, and GreenAddress has multi-sig TREZOR support) besides myTREZOR support TREZOR now (some in still beta), including an Android wallet, and more coming. You can not expect from SatoshiLabs that they dive into all the wallets code (if they even can get to the code) to develop support TREZOR for all wallets available. It can only be the other way around. So push CoinKite to support it, it will probably get them more users as well.
If you are experiencing problem with MyTrezor, use Electrum with your TREZOR, while the issue persists. Just install it from https://electrum.org/#download, connect TREZOR and follow simple few steps at http://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-apps/electrum.html#trezor-user-manual
https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2017/12/12/iota-partnership-microsoft-marketplace/
TL;DR IOTA is using Microsoft Azure to test some features, and the two of them are working together on developing tangles, but they don't have any official, formal partnerships set up.
Online retailers in the EU shouldn't be charging VAT at checkout. Since Brexit, it's now up to the UK government to collect import VAT.
Until Trezor fix this, buy from Amazon?
Yeah, plus it seems they aren't going to support transactions via mytrezor web either? WTF? Talk about losing loyal customers. I don't have time to wait any longer. I came looking for this info because I was trying to decide, keep my Trezor or purchase a Nano S. (BTC/ETH )
$64.00 amazon prime Nano Ledger S
Looking through the source code it looks like it goes to a "coinwalletinc(dot).com" where it uses the same design and points to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.walletinc.cryptocurrency . Their code dont use anything specific for hardware wallets so its likely trying to use trezor as a way of making it look like its by them and can use the hw device when it doesnt (everything is handled from their website).
Delta is pretty good, perhaps the best available at the moment. You configure the past transactions you made and that's it. Keeps track of the portfolio progress. As long as you know price/number of coins, you can keep track and leave the keys in the Trezor.
For export/import,... the file is residing on your own account of Dropbox, it's as easy as get said file and move it somewhere else. If by import/export you mean to export the password to other managers, then your passwords may be at risks, as they probably need to be exported in plain text? Importing would be cool, it should be easy to do (import & export), but depends on the format of said data.
We (not related to trezor nor satoshilabs) have released a TPM for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.madriguera.pma and the source code is here https://github.com/F7U12Team/password-manager. It works offline, passwords are stored in the phone (and in dropbox if you choose to). We do have plans for a desktop version with offline capabilities too.
If everything you said is correct, your bitcoin is safe in your wallet, even if it doesn't appear yet.
It gets a bit complicated here because Trezor can use multiple bitcoin addresses to help anonymize users, however old addresses never expire.
I say "if correct" because if the funds haven't shown up, it's likely that address is perhaps not the one you thought it was? Are you certain it's an old address from Trezor?
Paste the address you sent it to into an explorer (like this one) and confirm you do see that your funds arrived. If they did arrive, and it really is an address on your Trezor, perhaps your Trezor app is running behind. Can you see that as a past address in Trezor?
Yes, although how did you manage to do this? The addresses that Trezor shows for litecoin (starting with M or L or ltc) should not work as a bitcoin address. I assume you somehow converted the M address into a 3 address that works with bitcoin.
electrum-ltc is light wallet for litecoin. In your case you would use electrum (for bitcoin). Get it from electrum.org (be careful there are a lot of scammers using similar URLs). The other technical terms are the question that electrum asks you when you create a new wallet (the questions may depend on the version of electrum, though). When it asks for a derivation path, you need to change it to 49'/2'/0'
Oh, I remember what I did with edge, I changed the user agent to say Chrome and then it worked, seemingly fine:
Keep in mind you can only tranfer BGold when the premine is done. They're pre-mining 8000 blocks and making the chain public afterwards. So currently there is no way for anyone who holds their own keys to sell their BGold because there is no BGold chain yet.
People who are on exchanges were able to sell their BGold virtually, even though there is no BGold chain yet.
Electrum is a free wallet developed by Thomas Voegtlin and others. Be careful, there is a scam site electrumclient dot org.
Electrum is not affialiated with SatoshiLabs, but it was one of the first third party wallets that support the TREZOR.
Just one chance, no other way to get the seed out afterwards.
If you know a trusted person with a TREZOR where you can temporary send the bitcoins this would be safer. Mycellium or electrum are safe to use (you can use Tails on a USB drive to have clean bootable electrum environment). But if you are not to well known with the software, do some tests back and forth first.
I would not take the chance to wait longer as necessary, a defective TREZOR will mean you loose your coins permanently.
You only need to perform KYC for transactions regarded as "irregular" or "risky". If you refuse to KYC, your funds will be returned.
> In case the User refuses to undergo the AML/KYC procedure, the transaction will be rejected and the crypto assets will be returned to where it originated from less any applicable fees. Thereafter, Changelly service will freeze the User account and blacklist the wallet address (exceptions may apply to an address of a trusted service). This User account will no longer be eligible to use Changelly service. > > https://changelly.com/aml-kyc
yeah all i had to do was add the contract address for upusd to metamask and then send it back to my uphold.com wallet and then exchange it on there for ethereum.. i've been investing in the hex coin. investing practically everything i have. cashed out my credit card reward points of over $3500 plus the $1200 stimulus payment.

If it's really urgent, you can try install Electrum and send it from there (it shows the same accounts, etc)

otherwise you can contact support, it's better to ask them (but it might take a while, it could be a bug or something like that)
You can use a cold storage machine to sign an offline transaction:
Step one: On your network-connected computer create a transaction request that spends all the coins from a paper adress to your trezor
Step two: copy the transaction request using a USB key over to a cold storage machine and sign it
Step three: copy the signed transaction back to the computer with network access and post it to the blockchain.
here is a link that explains how to do offline transactions with electrum.
https://electrum.org/tutorials.html
and here is one about how to import a paper wallet
http://www.thecleverest.com/importing-bitcoin-from-a-paper-wallet-into-electrum/
youll have to carefully combine the two to do this safely.
Considering the complexity, and the need for a spare computer etc, if you only have a very small amount of btc perhaps it is worth the risk of losing it all and just taking a risk to sweep from your main computer.... its up to you.
1) Yes, it most definitely does. A plus for me.
2) Unfortunately you can't, sad really, but I tend to used these boys either way as I already got them stationed around my house:
Good luck and hodl
I actually asked this question a day or two ago, but the bots of this sub said my account is too new to ask questions!
Am I correct in believing that this Trezor One (amazon link) is sufficient for holding multiple coins (such as BTC, ETH, BCH) at the same time? Or I'd need the Model T to hold those plus XRP?
Or do I need a separate Trezor for each coin/wallet?
Thanks!
Amazon Canada: https://www.amazon.ca/Trezor-T-Model/dp/B07B8Q2G3K/
I've made a lot of transactions since I got it on May 28. My last transaction was on 2020-06-07 16:40:08 and it went fine. This is the first time it is happening.
Use use an app like Delta. You enter the coins you have/prices and it pulls data automatically to keep you informed of portfolio changes. No need for keys or anything. Been using it for three or four months and it really helps putting some order in my coin chaos.
Multiple pieces of paper = redundancy.
If you wanted something a little more durable there are services that will laser engrave a steel/titanium BIP38 wallet for you.
If you don't want to use a 3rd party service, you could salt water etch your own BIP38 aluminium wallet, or etch a Shamir's secret sharing fragmented mnemonic/seed.
A key safe would be suitable for a paper/metal wallet.
Here is the xpub.
xpub6Bw9P6Uh177jMhvEjfeW1rVm6GbUE1SQH955Z6MrZREZwknEntBKT4LRibGVyLtAar6a6ubb7VjpUVZo7B7ynA5p9kYzJrPmxeWWQ4YnQa5
I know you shouldn't share these but i won't be using it once/if i get the coins out.
It could be that the app he was using the xpub with is a scam and generated false addresses. Here is a link to the app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samourai.sentinel&hl=en
It seemed fine to me.
If you download the app and put in this xpub you can see that it shows a balance of 0.00476587 but there are no transactions on the trezor wallet website.
About your first question, the password manager does require dropbox in order to work and store the passwords. We developed an (unofficial, not related to satoshilabs) password manager for Android that doesn't require dropbox to work (file is saved locally on the phone). Check it at the Play Store or the source code.
We are working on a similar desktop app, but there isn't much to show yet.
> Why not make it so the Password Manager can be used offline and store the encrypted files on my device (phone/laptop, etc) rather than upload them to cloud storage? This way I could also create all my passwords on an airgapped computer.
If you own an Android device, you could try the PM for android : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.madriguera.pma WARNING: I'm one of the developer of it, and it's not official or related to Satoshilabs. The downside, is that for the moment you have to trust us, since the code is not open-sourced yet.
The app is 100% compatible with the official chrome extension and could be used in offline mode.
From my understanding: https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/crypto-transfers/.
To me, if there are no fees at all for trading with RH - this seems to make the most sense, despite the negative headwinds they had. I still believe RH is more credible than some of the other crypto exchanges we have since they are public and vetted.
Thanks for your reply.
Do you mean like this one:
Are this one similar to the one you use? ( Trezor One - MacBook Air M1 )
Thanks again, much appreciated.
Thanks for your comment
is it a Trezor One you have as well?
https://www.amazon.com/CableCreation-Braided-480Mbps-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B0744BKDRD/?pldnSite=1
So the one you link to will work for a MacBook Air M1 with a Trezor One ?
Thanks again for all the support guys, much appreciated
PIA (Private Internet Access) is seen to many as the gold standard for being a great VPN, highly recommend them.
I personally haven't used Surfshark, just seen a ton of their YouTube ads.
Lastly, just in case you didn't know, if you happen to be paying for Google One's $9.99 plan or higher, it includes a VPN.
You can either purchase from our official eshop, or from our Trezor Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8Q2G3K/ref=sr_1_1?m=A25Z0IAI215API&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1537175930&sr=1-1&dpID=419VIXdQ5TL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
There are security features that you can check during the Trezor setup, to be sure that your device is genuine and safe to use:
Trezors are shipped without pre-installed firmware. You will be installing it as a first thing.
Trezor would not connect to our Trezor Suite software if there was an unknown firmware installed.
There is also no pre-determined seed.
If there is no transaction history, then for some reason Suite is just unable to access the blockchain.
You can use https://blockchair.com/ripple if you know your address
Ha comprobado si la dirección todavía tiene bitcoin? Se puede ver en un sitio como blockchair (https://blockchair.com/). Solo tienes que pegar el dirección que recibió bitcoin y te mostrará si todavia contiene bitcoin o no.
That address still has 469 doge. Someone sent you that or the seed is compromised.
It's has balance and its unspent. So it's there
Could be a airdrop but I highly doubt it.
This is the address on trezor's doge explorer: https://doge1.trezor.io/address/DGNW72UJQA2Bj1X3Wo2Rt2Ug6Eipi9qp4x (since it's what you will see on their software).
So this is the address that sent me the 469 DOGE you can see how they are sending large amounts and always its paired with a smaller amount going to some other address and I just happened to be one of them before the 469 is showing as "unspent".
https://blockchair.com/dogecoin/address/DNZSr7o3tej6pLeB5R2aar3wsjHF8BRTtL
Well at last after 2 wks my transaction is confirmed. I’d chosen to wait it out hoping it would return to my wallet or get confirmed. Otherwise after another wk still unconfirmed i would have tried cpfp. Luckilynot necessary 😃
I’ve learned a lot about this subject! Gives me confidence about bitcoin as a whole. So it better my knowledge 🙏
An awesome traffic transaction site
You can upload them on Reddit or here where you don't need an account. You can set a self delete timer.
Remember not to link your Trezor to any untrusted websites and to never reveal your seed to anyone.
You'll notice my steps have him disabling networking prior to system boot.
Tails is not just for online identity obfuscation. See the design specification:
> My friend signed on the wallet before and remembers seeing the passphrase prompt, leaving it blank before and the signs have worked.
Possibly a language glitch but "blank" does not equal "empty". No passphrase and empty passphrase are equivalent, but spaces will still count as a unique passphrase.
> This is likely what happened but somebody bruteforcing it for 4 days has no match with commonly used passwords so that part's kinda strange for us.
You're assuming that Dave went to work the instant you contacted him. His GPU farm likely has bigger bounties that are in queue ahead of you.
> Do you know how long bruteforcing usually takes?
Depends on what kind of passwords you use. Things like PrincessPeach
will be cracked in seconds since both nouns and are dictionary words. Something like gRpjFE5tH2iJy5yq
is effectively uncrackable (centuries). Try for yourself with a PW strength tester
Your friend will have to come clean on how complex his PW choices likely are. And like I said before, I'd be willing to bet he provided the same password he used for the Metamask wallet. The two prompts would have happened on the same day and both start with "pass".
There is an error when executing the first command:
make: ** vendor/nanopb/generator/protob: No such file or directory. Stop.*
I installed GNU ARM Embedded toolchain by following https://launchpad.net/~team-gcc-arm-embedded/+archive/ubuntu/ppa. I can't figure out how to install the .bz2 file downloaded from https://developer.arm.com/open-source/gnu-toolchain/gnu-rm/downloads. I'm guessing it is not the problem.
Not right. OP is correct in that your funds cannot be accessed without BOTH your seed words and your passphrase. That being said, your seed should still be kept private at all costs, since having 24/25 of the required credentials gives a bad actor a significant advantage to access it. At that point all that's protecting you is the computing power/cost needed to crack the passphrase (which depends on the strength of the passphrase you've selected, or the ability to socially engineer it out of you, or get it with the ol' 5-dollar wrench method)
This is probably because you use the wrong BIP scheme. Probably you need BIP49. If you want a professional (myself) to take a look at it: https://uwsoftware.be/index.php/bitcoin-recovery-service/. Just had a client with the same problem (https://www.trustpilot.com/reviews/606c762ff85d7508704b473e)
Just to be clear, a Trezor doesn't "hold" coins. It only holds the keys that are used to generate the wallet addresses and to spend the funds.
If you are saying the funds are not spent after deposited, then check your deposit transaction in a block explorer. Has it confirmed?
or
The coins are on your poloniex account already...There's nothing more to claim.
Bsv after the upgrade doesn't support cash addr again, that's why the coins are not on that address.
Hi, thanks for sharing that with us. I am sure Changelly’s Support team will help you sort this out soon.
They described a few reasons for a delay in their Helpdesk section: https://changelly.com/faq#why-does-my-transaction-take-so-long?
Yeah kinda. But more specificly, lack of liquidity = not many orders on the order book. If there's not much limit orders on the order book then your market order might cause slippage. Kraken would definitely have more liquidity, look at their order book here: https://cryptowat.ch/markets/kraken/btc/usd
You should look up "slippage" "order book" and "liquidity" on investopedia, that will help you understand.
> a step by step guide available to downgrading to old FW? Which version of FW do I need to install?
Yes, like, in the manual
> Where do I find step by step guide for these steps 1 to 3?
Electron Cash and ElectrumSV are both copies of the r/Electrum wallet. All questions are answered (of course) in the two Electrum manuals
You can directly pair your Trezor to a wallet called r/Electrum and directly to the bitcoin-core wallet. So if your familiar with either of those you can do your coin control accordingly.
For the btc, you can download electrum. You can get it from https://electrum.org/#home
After installing, you create a new wallet > import bitcoin address or private keys > paste the private key to the Brain wallet there> click next, you should see the coins.
Open up the trezor, select btc, go to receive address, copy that address.
Go back to electrum, paste the address in the send tab, hit send max. You should see the coins on the trezor.
For bch, you can use electroncash, do same thing, but this time , select the bch app and not btc app when sending to the trezor.
If you want functionality over design, there's https://electrum.org (beware of phishing domains, .ORG is the only official one!), the go-to choice for advanced users. Supports bech32 addresses, multi-sig (yes, with your Trezor[s] and other HW wallets), coin control, RBF and more..
Yes, there is. Trezor uses deterministic builds: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/trezor-dev/5MCyweTY4UA
You can build firmware from source and check that the firmware fingerprint matches the fingerprint of the binary published on their website. When flashing firmware, Trezor will even display the new firmware fingerprint on its display.
If you go the electrum way, beware of scams. Only download from electrum.org. Make sure you have the latest version. All electrum servers are ddosed. Don't use an electrum server from this list. There are several new servers setup by the developers: e2 - e4.keff.org, electrum2 - electrum5.hodlister.co. The servers from bauerj, emzy, and peleion are also working most of the time.
When you recover, choose Options when it asks for seed and click BIP 39. If you have a passphrase, also the other one (it's named something like use extra words). Then choose either p2sh segwit or legacy depending on what account you used. For recovering the second or third account, you manually need to increase the last number in the derivation path.
There is one, it's called Electrum: https://electrum.org/
I highly recommend it. You can even run it with full privacy, pointing at your own bitcoin node, with Electrum Personal Server. A bit more involved to set up though.
Yep... would require about a 20 line bat file... but like I said... most novices won't be interested. Would look something like:
SET DIR=%~dp0%
set COMMAND=((new-object net.webclient).DownloadFile(^
'https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1','%DIR%install.ps1'))
%systemroot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe ^
-NoProfile ^
-ExecutionPolicy Bypass ^
-Command "%COMMAND%"
%systemroot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe^
-NoProfile ^
-ExecutionPolicy Bypass ^
-Command "& '%DIR%install.ps1' %*"
call RefreshEnv
choco install choco install vcbuildtools python3
call RefreshEnv
pip3 install setuptools wheel
pip3 install trezor_agent
call RefreshEnv
trezor-gpg init "Username <[email protected]>" -v
But until someone tests it, no one knows.
One thing that is interesting is that this notification pops up when it's in bootloader mode but not in normal mode:
https://www.screencast.com/t/kHMdS04qp
I also tried via the web and the same issue happens.
>Keepass
Thanks. I'll check out Keepass, but based on the discussion on gnome-keyring and https://keepass.info/help/base/security.html, I suspect that it might have the same problems.
Thx for the link. BTW, are you guys consider adding verified publisher status to the official SL / trezor twitter accounts? I could understand not optting-in on wallet.trezor.io
, for obvious reasons, but it would be cool for twitter and the blog.trezor.io
.
you just need the go binaries ( https://golang.org/dl/ ). As for IDEs, Visual Studio Code (from microsoft) or vim (+vim-go plugin) are usually popular free options. I personally use Golang (by Jetbrains, not free but worth it, has a trial period I think).
The main example works on linux only, here's an example that runs on windows (or should be) https://github.com/conejoninja/cerrojo/blob/hid/example/windows/main.go (it depends on hidapi and libusb, but are included in some other library).
Once you got GO installed, you will need to run "go get github.com/conejoninja/cerrojo" to download the code (and the dependencies)
This is actually not possible.
Bitcoin Cash forked on August 1st and has full replay protection. If you transfered your BTC on August 16th then your Bitcoin Cash must still remain at the same address you held at August 1st.
If you go to https://blockchair.com/ and put in your addresses (not private key !) does it also show your BCH balance is transfered away from your addresses?
Hey no need:) People helped me out a lot too when I started out (and I'm still new). I appreciate the gesture.
A block has been found, but I'm still unconfirmed. try https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/blocks https://cash.coin.dance/blocks
Well the good thing is you didn't send those Lumens to an ETH address! Trezor does not currently support XLM (I own a Trezor and Nano S) and use the Nano for a few coins that Satoshi Labs currently doesn't support.
https://www.stellar.org/lumens/wallets/
That's the list of wallets currently available to hold your XLM. I definitely recommend a hardware wallet for long term storage but the others should be good if you're trading or holding short term. Note that a software wallet is only as secure as the device you're using.
Hello! Changelly is here. In fact, AML/KYC procedures have been implemented in our service for a long time. You may check our AML/KYC policies here. We are doing all in our power to check and process all transactions smoothly and quickly, hence please indicate your Changelly transaction ID so we could clarify the matter and assist you.
Hello! We've investigated your case and it seems that your transaction was being processed in the blockchain queue for too long (951 min) and that's the reason for the delay. This may happen due to the BTC network being overloaded or you set a low network fee. Unfortunately, we aren't able to initiate exchange before we receive funds from you and can't influence it somehow.
Also, you may read this article that explains the reasons of delays: https://changelly.com/blog/about-delays/
Hope for your understanding!
From https://www.bitcoincash.org/
> How is transaction replay being handled between the new and the old blockchain? > > Bitcoin Cash transactions use a new flag SIGHASH_FORKID, which is non standard to the legacy blockchain. This prevents Bitcoin Cash transactions from being replayed on the Bitcoin blockchain and vice versa.
I presume that means that a BTC transaction by the standard Trezor wallet will not have that flag, and therefore will not be recognized by the BCH blockchain. I have not tested it, and do not know beyond that.
It's because Exodus doesn't currently support using ADA with the Trezor. There's a few that are like that. You can see what's supported and what's not by looking at the Exodus status page:
https://www.exodus.io/status/
If you check our Status page, you'll be able to see which assets are supported and which ones have Trezor support that you'll be able to see right within your wallet.
https://www.exodus.io/status/
If you look at the transaction on blockchain.info, the 'other' address where the remainder is sent to, is the change address. You can click on that address and you see the available balance (for that address). Multiple transactions use new change addresses with additional balances.
As said before, Electrum shows all addresses.
Are you using the Homebrew version of Python? If so, make sure you're installing python-trezor to the Homebrew path. It's been a long time since I've set it up so I don't remember exactly how to do it, sorry.
Could you just download the binaries that were just released?
Yeah that part is kind of confusing. As in, really confusing. I can try to explain.
I think you can type, but Terminal isn't any showing feedback to show that you are actually typing. Here's the PIN pad that Trezor displays on the screen, randomly scrambled:
5 | 8 | 3 |
7 | 1 | 4 |
6 | 9 | 2 |
Now let's say you want your PIN to be "123456789". Well, you need to type the numbers into Terminal according to how Trezor sees the PIN pad, which is like this:
7 | 8 | 9 |
4 | 5 | 6 |

You need to mask your true PIN from a potential hacker by typing it according to the scrambled screen your Trezor shows.
So according to my fake PIN pad above, to set your PIN as "123456789", you need to type "539671482" ~~"692714583"~~.
I got stuck here too, and thought the tool was broken until somebody forwarded this PIN pad layout to me. If you have any other questions, just ask!
By the way, Electrum 2.0b3 is available, although I haven't tried it and don't know if it can initialize a Trezor yet.
/u/afrotec answered almost everything. Here are my additional answers.
There was also this status update on another Github account which tackles the progress of the overall project as well as optimizations over things that the Ledger team is doing.
Yep, mine won't either. I have a HP 11 G1 (daisy_spring). It went end-of-life at R72, which I think was towards the end of 2018.
/u/stickac Why email him when you might be lucky enough to catch him on Reddit!
The source code is still available at https://github.com/saleemrashid/trezor-mcu/tree/openpgp-legacy but, as you can tell from the branch name, this was designed for OpenPGP. It could do OpenPGP signing but I abandoned it shortly after.
This is because I've decided to rewrite it in Rust. Rust is a safer language and will also enable me to include the code in the TREZOR 2.
Also, whereas the old code was designed for OpenPGP, I intend for this to work for most smart card applications. That includes SSH and, hopefully, Windows authentication. Regarding the latter, I'm not entirely sure I will be using PIV, but that's still to be decided.
Awesome I should have just kept this on Bittrex from the start. Also the support on here is great because you get back to me, but it's on stupid Reddit. You need a better way of contacting support rather than reddit. https://www.screencast.com/t/IPZo9jTPn
After this is done I am going to sell this wallet.
Nothing in impenetrable.
Even Ledger's CTO says he would trust their secure element to withstand an attacker for 1 week.
>Q : How safe would you say is the ledger (secure element) against physical attack ?"
>A : "....even if you can last 1 week, that is good enough, because you would have moved your funds and the attacker gets nothing"

If you have a steemit-account, you can upvote me there as well: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@dnaleor/trezoro-trezor-for-monero-the-basics
(I feel like a cryptowhore for posting this, but it's an easy way to get some reward for making this video)
There's more detailed explanations there. Basically you want to check the GPG signature of your downloaded file against the associated asc file (look under the green button of the file you downloaded on suite.trezor.io).
Don't forget to move your sd-protect
card to your spy coin to remove the encryption key from the encrypted firmware while at rest:

Here's an amazon listing of the case too BTW:
is that the real Trezor Store on Amazon US? Seeing reviews of people talking about hacks and firmware already installed.
Won't something like this work? https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Convert-Connector-Resistor-Charging/dp/B08D7WM3V1/ref=sr_1_11?crid=1BZBJJGUI1FPW&dchild=1&keywords=micro+usb+to+usb+c+adapter&qid=1632402851&sprefix=micro+usb+to+%2Caps%2C202&sr=8-11
Plug the Trezor into the micro-SD end and the USB-C into the Android phone?
Hey dude! Thanks for the comment. I found one at amazon that would probably be a lot cheaper due to customs and such. Is it still the same? https://www.amazon.ca/Trezor-T-Model/dp/B07B8Q2G3K/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=trezor&qid=1629499870&sr=8-4
It uses a micro USB cable. For example https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711PVX6Z/ Or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CHGK4G7/ Depending on whether you have a USB A or USB-C port on your computer or phone you'll use it with
>1- Do you use a Trezor One or Trezor T?
>
>2-Do you use a passphrase? (If not, this might be a case of weak keys generated by Trezor)
>
>3- Did you recently update your firmware before this happened, or are you using the newest firmware version? Do you know what firmware version you last used before the issues?
>
>4- When did you buy the Trezor and from what source?

>5- What wallet do you use?
>
>6- Did you EVER input your seed into a digital device even if temporary? Or have a digital back up of your seed?

Definitely, I'd like to know too.

Is this legit from amazon canada?
I have this one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0792GZ4HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_K9Y8EW1687C4V2RMKZME?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I do keep it on my keys so it could be hardware failure, I'm not sure if they are supposed to do data.
