Yep, this is accurate! The DGB app will return to the Play Store soon! In the meantime check out Coinomi Wallet and study how to properly protect your coins! Coinomi offers everything the DGB app does, except for DigiAsset support.
Coinomi has had support for LCC since version 1.8.2, which you can get right now on Google Play.
However exchanging LCC for other coins will depend on our exchange partners (Shapeshift/Changelly) supporting it, as we don't do the exchanges ourselves. LCC is not yet supported by either of them.
I have a Ledger Nano S, it's nice. But, it's a pain if you buy more than a couple of other cryptos or if you need access to your funds often and easily. It's the most secure, though. Good for using as a "bank" of sorts.
I keep a little money in Coinomi on my phone for spending. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en
download this wallet if u havent already and i'll send u some verge. u can pay me back in $20 worth of ETH later.
Deal?
If you went through the Coinomi Website , you are probably good. They also have a link to the Google Play store.
There are many.
Some reliable exchanges are:
Kraken
Bittrex
Shapeshift
Changelly
For high-trade-volume times like this I like to use the Coinomi wallet on Android, as it has Shapeshift integration built-in, so I can quickly convert between many different crypto tokens right on my mobile, then when I'm ready to hold again, I ship them all off to my Trezor wallet.
Only use a mobile wallet like Coinomi if your device is not rooted, and you secure your device with a PIN and/or fingerprint. Having your cryptocurrencies on mobile is inherently less-secure than a cold or paper wallet. As I said, I only use Coinomi in transient times like this, and send them off to my Trezor asap.
Here is a relatively recent article discussing methods of exchanging, and the associated fees
don't restore a wallet. just create a new wallet when you install Coinomi (and make sure to install the REAL Coinomi app, not the other scan app that look like it): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
once you have installed the app and created a new clean wallet, add the coin "Bitcoin Gold". Then in "Bitcoin Gold", select "Sweep wallet" in the ... menu at the top right.
That's where you enter the PRIVATE KEY where you had your BTC on the day of the fork. But make sure that you removed your BTC from that address before weeping it, as i explained (for safety reasons).
Coinomi on Android works great with VTC. I personally use Coinomi for small amounts of crypto (you would never walk around in public with your life savings in your wallet), I love it. The electrum wallet will work as well.
Check out Coinomi: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Unless you want to send Ethereum, you only need a wallet once to create an address and private key. You can also use https://www.myetherwallet.com for that purpose, it'll guide you through the process.
Never lose the private key. Never. Ever. Lose. That. Fucking. Private. Key. It's the only thing standing between you, your money and the rest of the world.
install coinomi -
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
select Bitcoin cash and restore wallet with seed words from mycelium
Use derivation path of m/44'/0'/0'/0
Once you see the BCH you can sell them for real bitcoin with an exchange or sites like
yes if you have private keys then just download coinomi wallet and add bitcoin private key to it thats it and don't thrust anyone private keys is your bitcoin don't share it to anyone.

If you are new and don't have hundreds of thousands, I recommend the Coinomi wallet. I use it to store all my doge and other crypto. It has great support. You can also use Dogecoin Wallet by langerhans. It only has dogecoin, so it's probably easier for a beginner.
Please don't use freewallet, it seems unsafe.

Just download something like Coinomi - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet on your phone. It is multicurrency wallet. It will allow you to receive Bitcoin, Ethereum and a few other crypto currencies. When you receive some, you'll also be able to send them. But making usd <-> crypto is a bit difficult if you want to remain anonymous.
Hope this helped you. I also use a Samsung phone and Dogecoin works fine on it :)

If you have an Android phone, Coinomi supports hundreds of cryptocurrencies. I've used them for holding small amounts of tokens and they've been quite good, it stores all your coins in one app.

Coinomi Wallet (Android link) is a really good and reliable wallet. They have a simple UI and are well known. They are partnered with Verge and I haven't had any issues with them so far.
Edit: Spelling
A good mobile wallet for Android is Coinomi. It also has integration with Shapeshift and Changelly.
I actually just bought my first Dogecoin (exchanged ZEC for DOGE through Shapeshift like 30 minutes ago) today all in the Coinomi app. I gotta say, DOGE is so fast and I love this community! I'm going to be investing heavily in DOGE in 2018. To the moon!
I honestly can't think of too many tricks :P All I can really say is you'll want to store your coins in a wallet as opposed to an exchange for safe keeping. I usually keep mine in Coinomi, its a mobile app wallet that can store multiple coins unlike most wallets that only store one kind.
If I feel like trying my luck with some day trading then I'll send over whatever I'm willing to lose (I only play with money im financially able to lose just in case) and then play with that and send it back to coinomi once I'm finished :)
The only other thing I can think of is that if you wanted to start mining coins then I wrote up a semi-short post about how to get started mining coins, otherwise just make sure you do your research before buying to hodl.
To my knowledge it is the Dash core which has funded a broker in Venezuela. And Dash sponsors educational meetups with overwhelming support.
The coinomi android wallet has the Spanish language. • Multilingual & HyperLocal Not available on Apple iPhone at the time of writing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Mnemonic phrase = seed ..... gotcha. Private key = address to send/receive coins, right?
thank you!
I see recommendations for Electrum but the Android app ratings are less than the app I just transferred my coins to, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en
Any reason why I should go with Electrum?
Can I move from current wallet to Electrum (another wallet) without processing fees? Or should I stick with my current wallet?
There is one multi coin wallet on Android that supports bitcoin cash as well. This: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en Coinomi Wallet :: Bitcoin Ethereum Altcoins Tokens - Android Apps ...

Depends on your internet speed. Its about 2GB of data
>And is there a way to get my address so I can start mining right away?
Try Coinomi Only when you mine on traditional pool. Does not work with P2Pool. But if you mine in a pool they will collect your earnings in their wallet 1st. So you don't actually need a wallet right away.
>Secondly on the p2pool list what should I be looking for on which one to mine?
I think anything is fine. Better yet you can make your own P2Pool node.
>I see some have fees, is that because the find more blocks?
Where do you see this? If you see it in pool that means the pool is collecting fee for its uptime.
>From /u/peoplma
>I was wondering if you could add just a couple things. A link to the coinomi android wallet, it's probably the best one out there.
Yeah, they're still developing the iOS wallet.
Make sure you've installed the correct coinomi wallet, there was a fake recently on the play store. Valid link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
A few more:
But, the only real thing I see to reach a larger audience and thus make it REALLY big is : ==> Integration into a Point-of-sale system for added payment option ==> Secondary app to allow shop owner to both BUY & SELL CNN at his configured rates (until CCN market is more liquid). ==> 1 dispensary with different locations adopting it & merging it with "frequent stoner" promo stuff if purchase are made using CCN.
EDIT: anyone living near one of these?
Try the Coinomi wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Multicoin, built in shapeshift.io exchange.
But it's centralized, it's not an SPV wallet like langer's, you depend on the dev's servers for blockchain data, much like electrum
You can use Coinomi. It isn't explicitly for Gridcoin but it does support Gridcoin.
ios: https://itunes.apple.com/app/coinomi-wallet/id1333588809

Thanks Smokeditty for your reply. Appreciate your help. I followed your method and it worked!
I claimed my ANONs using Magnum Wallet (by entering my ZCL wallet's private key from my Coinomi Wallet which I exported using this method by Coinomi Support) and then sent these ANONs to my newly installed ZelCore app wallet for Android. I received my ANONs successfuly, no coins lost in the process.
Coinomi Wallet supports Gridcoin:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
nyc is on the new app version that is already out for android.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en
You have a couple of options:
Coinomi for Android supports BIP39 and several coins including ETH https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
If link fails, search app store for coinomi wallet. Best wallet I've used.
Then we need to accept BIP70 as a real standard (currently it's a bitpay one man show) and get it implemented into the majority of wallets.
I was looking into a few beginner friendly android wallets the past days and that's not an easy task.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kryptokit.jaxx
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hashengineering.bitcoincash.wallet
None of these fully support BIP70 as of now.
I personally really don't like the user experience of the BitPay wallet and all of its forks (Copay, Bitcoin.com). The user interface is messy and bloated, doesn't follow any android app design guidelines and the multi account feature is needlessly complicated for beginners.
Electron Cash hasn't been upgraded to a BIP70 compatible version on the play store yet and has a user experience that is more suitable for expert users.
So what wallet would I give to a beginner to bitcoin cash who wants to just use the currency (and that ofc includes bitpay)?
Here is a guide I wrote on how to safely redeem your BTG. I fully think this is a scam coin, but you might as well claim your free coins to sell for real Bitcoin!
When I went to redeem my free Bitcoin Gold (BTG) I noticed that there is a complete lack of information on how to do this safely – even the Bitcoin Gold website doesn’t have clear instructions. Below I am going to detail a safe process to redeem your free coins.
Bitcoin Gold was a fork of the Bitcoin Blockchain that occurred in October at Block 491407. Anyone who held Bitcoin in a wallet at that time received a corresponding amount of Bitcoin Gold. Please note that you need access to the private keys of the wallet to access your Bitcoin Gold. If you held your bitcoin on an exchange or web wallet that doesn’t give you access to your private keys you must wait for the exchange/site to give you the Bitcoin Gold (If they choose to do so. They have no obligation to if they don’t want to – another reason that you should always store your Bitcoin in a wallet that you control). To check if you have Bitcoin Gold you can enter the address of your wallet here: https://bitcoingold.org
If you wish to sell or transfer your Bitcoin Gold you first have to split it from your regular Bitcoin wallet. This is the safest way to do so:
Send all of the Bitcoin in your wallet to a new address/wallet. Since you will be exporting the private keys to your Bitcoin wallet it is safest to move your real Bitcoin out of the wallet first so there is no risk to that.
Once the Bitcoin is moved, export the private key of your old wallet (now empty of Bitcoin but still has access to the Bitcoin gold based on the Bitcoin balance that was in the wallet at the time of the October fork). For details on how do this all you have to do is Google for the name of your wallet and “export private keys”. Be careful to never enter your private keys in any website or online service.
The easiest method to import the private key into a Bitcoin Gold wallet is with an Android wallet called Coinomi: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet Download the wallet (If you don’t have an Android phone or tablet you can run Android on your computer using Andy which can be downloaded at: https://www.andyroid.net
Once the wallet is downloaded open it up and create a new Bitcoin Gold wallet. Once in your new wallet click on the three vertical dots menu in the top right and choose sweep wallet.
Put your private key in the field provided and it will let you know how much Bitcoin Gold is contained in that address. Confirm you want to import that value.
Your Bitcoin Gold is now in your wallet. You can hold it there, send it to someone else or send it to an exchange to sell it. I choose to sell mine at HitBTC as it was the only exchange accepting BTG deposits.
Optional if you want to send your BTG to an exchange to trade or sell: You can sign up for HitBTC here: https://hitbtc.com/?ref_id=5a0dab3a06dd8 (Please note this is an affiliate link that will give me a small bonus if you use it to signup. If you enjoyed this guide and it helped you out please consider using my link to reward me for my efforts).
Once you have an account go to Deposit and generate an address for Bitcoin Gold and paste that address in the Coinomi Android wallet to send your Bitcoin Gold to the exchange. Sell it for Bitcoin or try to day trade with it. It is essentially “free money” if you already held Bitcoin on the day of the fork!
Hope this info will help someone who is confused on how to claim their BTG! If this has helped you please share this in forums, social media, or with anyone you think it could benefit. If you want to donate a bit of your free BTG to me: GUTf3omss65B5CdxyDqm1ZjrczPoS3YveH
Feel free to ask questions if any part of this process is confusing!
There is Coinomi Wallet:

Ready for this fork guys and gals! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Or a wallet that holds most all of them https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
If you have an android phone. Use Coinomi wallet it supports the fork: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
I'm using Coinomi for mobile. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Install coinomi and sweep the funds. That worked very smoothly for me.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en
They still say that they're open source in the Google Play store...
Coinbase is not that secure as you do not have your keys.
The most secure are core wallets - although for that you need to have space which most of us don't have.
So I would advise you to use coinomi as I am currently using it (This doesn't mean that it is the best one, nor that you can trust me ) - I like it as open source and that they will release computer version soon (maybe in few months) and also most importantly you can see your keys by using mnemonic tool (which you can see on their site and also run offline for extra security)
Other wallets:
Exodus - the best looking one for computer.
Cons : it seems that you can't control your fees (dogecoin fee is 5DOGE, where in other is mostly only 1); You need to put some low amount to be able to grab your keys.
More info you can find at this post, Fulvio55 did great job for making this list.
Before even starting please make sure to know something a bit - what are private keys, what are light wallets etc.
Do not put any funds in that wallet if you can't export your keys
Be your own bank = act accordingly
Is it this one?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Thanks, I will give that a try.
You don't have to believe me, you can check all this on each respective website.
Arguably one the most useful posts I've read in a while. I'll add a few more:
Coinomi - A great Bitcoin and altcoin wallet. Beside being easy to use, it gets updated frequently. Also it stores your private keys (encrypted) locally, so it's pretty safe in that regard.
Brave Browser - There have other browsers suggested for neat features plus privacy, but still Brave is my choice. I don't use that on desktop but their mobile app is sweet.
Poweramp - Easily the best music player for android. It's not free but it well worth the money.
TouchRetouch - It's a pretty well-known app but still worth mentioning for retouching.
Bitwarden - I still use LastPass but they get worse and worse by every updates. I heard good things about Bitwarden (specially from privacy standpoint) and it worth a shot.
Use Electrum-LTC.
Download it from https://www.electrum-ltc.org
After the download:
go offline
launch / install
create a wallet
write down the seed
encrypt the wallet
import private key
go online
Edit:
I over read mobile.
Use Coinomi with the "sweep paper wallet" function.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Android wallet apps:
Put them here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet than if you want imo
Holy smokes! its an app download ---> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
nothing too it.
If you have ZCL on exchange (Bittrex, Cryptopia, etc), the exchange needs to announce support for the fork. If they don't, you won't get BTCP. If they do, it's likely you don't get it straightaway, some will only distributed the new coin 1 month or more after the fork. The safest way to ensure you get BTCP is to transfer/withdraw your ZCL from Bittrex to your own wallet. Electrum for ZClassic wallet (Windows/Mac/Linux) is recommended. After the fork, you should download Electrum for BTCP and input your wallet private key there.
You could also transfer it to Coinomi multi-coin mobile wallet for Android (iOS still in beta) after they implemented ZCL support, which should be soon (Twitter annoucement). With Coinomi, you don't have to do anything to claim, the BTCP it will appear in the app after they sync the nodes (but there's no telling how quick they'll do it). Or you could use the private key from the Coinomi ZCL wallet and import it to Electrum for BTCP.

Once the Bitcoin is moved, export the private key of your old wallet (now empty of Bitcoin but still has access to the Bitcoin gold based on the Bitcoin balance that was in the wallet at the time of the October fork). For details on how do this all you have to do is Google for the name of your wallet and “export private keysâ€. Be careful to never enter your private keys in any website or online service. The easiest method to import the private key into a Bitcoin Gold wallet is with an Android wallet called Coinomi: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet Download the wallet (If you don’t have an Android phone or tablet you can run Android on your computer using Andy which can be downloaded at: https://www.andyroid.net Once the wallet is downloaded open it up and create a new Bitcoin Gold wallet. It is essentially “free money†if you already held Bitcoin on the day of the fork! Hope this info will help someone who is confused on how to claim their BTG! If this has helped you please share this in forums, social media, or with anyone you think it could benefit. Whats your opinion on
Here is the text of the guide for people who would prefer not to go to the external Steemit link:
When I went to redeem my Bitcoin Gold yesterday I noticed that there is a complete lack of information on how to do this safely - even the Bitcoin Gold website doesn't have clear instructions. Below I am going to detail a safe process to redeem your free coins.
Bitcoin Gold was a fork of the Bitcoin Blockchain that occurred on Oct 24th at Block 491407. Anyone who held Bitcoin in a wallet at that time received a corresponding amount of Bitcoin Gold. Please note that you need access to the private keys of the wallet to access your Bitcoin Gold. If you held your bitcoin on an exchange or web wallet that doesn't give you access to your private keys you must wait for the exchange/site to give you the Bitcoin Gold (If they choose to do so. They have no obligation to if they don't want to - another reason that you should always store your Bitcoin in a wallet that you control). To check if you have Bitcoin Gold you can enter the address of your wallet here: https://bitcoingold.org
If you wish to sell your Bitcoin Gold you first have to split it from your regular Bitcoin wallet. This is the safest way to do so:
Send all of the Bitcoin in your wallet to a new address/wallet. Since you will be exporting the private keys to your Bitcoin wallet it is safest to move your real Bitcoin out of the wallet first so there is no risk to that.
Once the Bitcoin is moved export the private key of your old wallet (now empty of Bitcoin but still has access to the Bitcoin gold based on the Bitcoin balance that was in the wallet at the time of the October fork). The easiest method to import the private key into a Bitcoin Gold comparable wallet is with an Android wallet called Coinomi: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet

I misspoke. It is not breadwallet, it's coinomi.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=en
Just download it from the PlayStore.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
There's Coinomi, at least on Google Play (App Store version is apparently still in production). They even published an article on how to get your BCH in the wallet if you had some BTC in it before the split.
I have been using it myself for several months now, and I don't have a lot of things to complain about when it comes to it.
Paging /u/Highflyer108, who said they don't know about any mobile wallet for BCH.
I agree. I mean you can, but it's not safe. Coinomi wallet then? They have a nice Android app and support Gridcoin:

Use the coinomi android app instead: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
Regarding a dual coin wallet, I know Coinomi for Android supports many different coins. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
If you're using android, coinomi supports HD wallets for multiple altcoins (but only one wallet(seed) per type of coin)
