As far as i remember, MONA is actually widely accepted as a source of currency in Japan. Along with that and finally opening up in Japan's largest crypto exchange, MONA doesn't seem like a shitcoin.
They even have MONACOIN ATMs scattered across Japan!

Fortunately, soon after I wrote the article, the price of Monacoin has reached 100 JPY and almost is about to hit 1 USD. Congratulations!! https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monacoin/
Increasing the price is not the final aim, but it is a memorial day. Many crypto fans in Japan are celebrating the event.
The market has been underrating this coin so far. Monacoin will get a higher profile in Japan definitely, and speculative money may change the circumstances. (I personally do not deny the speculation.) This is the new start for the community to encourage the usage of the cryptocurrency.
Congratulations and good luck again!!
An Android app and iOS app pair is released to receive Monacoin & Bitcoin.

if you go to coinmarketcap, i dunno why but it will exclude exchanges with zerofee-trading volume(i'm guessing cobinhood volume will be excluded too in the future). check out the link below for all exchanges trading monacoin: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monacoin/#markets
I don't know why volume from bitflyer is not included...
From what i know, Zaif is run by Tech Bureau Co., Ltd., one of the exchanges approved by the Japanese Gov't. Checkout coins traded on Zaif: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/zaif/ currently total volume of USD125mill, for Monacoin USD45mill
I honestly can't think of too many tricks :P All I can really say is you'll want to store your coins in a wallet as opposed to an exchange for safe keeping. I usually keep mine in Coinomi, its a mobile app wallet that can store multiple coins unlike most wallets that only store one kind.
If I feel like trying my luck with some day trading then I'll send over whatever I'm willing to lose (I only play with money im financially able to lose just in case) and then play with that and send it back to coinomi once I'm finished :)
The only other thing I can think of is that if you wanted to start mining coins then I wrote up a semi-short post about how to get started mining coins, otherwise just make sure you do your research before buying to hodl.
Honestly just jump start the PSU and hook it up to your card, but don't mix power supply's.
Edit: Here's a guide to jump start the PSU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZiWciJLK3o
In other words don't plug two power supply's in to one card if you have 2 pins. Also make sure you turn off the secondary power supply off before the main when shutting down and turn on the second one after the first one when starting up. They also sell adapters
