what the hell kind of misleading graph is that?

The real thing. Pump. Dump. If you are holding any dgb you'll do your finances a favor to just dump on the next pump because there won't be too many more before it goes to 0.
Yep, this is accurate! The DGB app will return to the Play Store soon! In the meantime check out Coinomi Wallet and study how to properly protect your coins! Coinomi offers everything the DGB app does, except for DigiAsset support.
Hello and welcome to DGB!
Nodes are one of the foundational aspects of all blockchains. They ensure consensus and are key to the decentralization of a project. You can do cool things like running your own full node and routing your mobile wallet through it, meaning you have complete autonomy over your DigiByte. "Trust but verify" -mctrivia, DGB Developer.
There are actually way more nodes than 250 on the DGB network, in reality its closer to a couple thousand iirc. To see these nodes though you must use a node crawler.
The ~250 number represents open nodes with network port 12024 open. These nodes can connect to more peers and disproportionately support the network!
The reason it doesn't work is the plugin is for DigiPassword.
So far only Digi-ID/AntumID supports this standard though more will come
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rocks.digibyte.digiid iOS: coming soon
Yes you likely can. You will have to go to the AppData folder -> DigiByte -> your wallet.dat should be there.
Here's how to get to your appdata folder.
I recommend
>Search for "Run" in the windows search as shown below, or press the Windows + R button to open the Run App.
>In the run app text box, enter "%AppData%" and click OK. Windows will directly open up the Roaming folder which is inside the AppData folder.
>Open the DigiByte folder and copy/backup your wallet.dat file

Good luck, let me know if you need anything else!
I would say the reason for Jared and the guys disappearance is they are getting ready for something big, the reason the price is going down, is because the next big thing doesn't want people nagging like what you are doing in your post, if the guy was going live and suddenly did not, then there must be something good happening and he can't come online as usual, what do you want him to tell you? HODL ? ROFL. let the guys work peacefully and if you have a problem with DGB, just move on to another currency and stop being so pessimistic.
Quoting something from Steemit:
"So what's happening for DigiByte right now and what will come within the following weeks? Lots! The main first thing will be the Citi Tech for Integrity Challenge (T4I) awards at the end of July (date TBA) for their DiguSign product. There are even rumors DigiByte and CitiBank have setup a partner contract which will be announced after the awards. This could be the reason for DigiByte to keep low on Twitter and Bitcointalk since the last couple of weeks due to an NDA of the CitiBank challenge."
Go to https://www.exodus.io/releases/ , you will find the latest changelog there which says "You can now send and receive Digibyte. To add Digibyte to your portfolio visit the Settings section then click Assets to turn it on." Hope this helps :)

It is currently an open beta, I am looking for testers and an honest feedback to improve it.
You can add READ ONLY exchanges keys, wallet addresses (DGB supported!), manually add holdings (or watch-only entries), read news, view your portfolio (using different charts) and your profit/loss, check candlestick charts (from 1y to 30min) and much more coming soon...
Anyway, if you are interested in trying this app here's the play store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitsnapp.com.bitsnapp
Remember that it's a beta version, please report any bug you find so I can fix it, also, let me know if you like it or if you have suggestions, I am looking forward to receive your feedback!
App subreddit: /r/Bitsnapp
Looking at trust reviews. It really does look like i'm screwed. if they fix it I will update. I will also be pulling my funds if that does happen.
Ouch, well for one you got unlucky and you bought in during a bull-run, meaning you paid a really high price. I'd suggest you put those coins on Bittrex and wait there until price goes past 6 $-cents.
Honestly your best bet is hodling and hoping more money flows into DigiByte in the coming months.
But for you to make back your money the market capitalization of DGB would have to be upwards of 440 mil-$ so keep an eye out for https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/ Just check daily or every other day, personally I always keep a tab open on that website.
If you want to make it easier but you will lose some DGB in the transaction process from fees and such, you can exchange your Litecoin into DGB on https://shapeshift.io/#/coins This is how I did it for about $600 worth. I bought Litecoin on coinbase.com and traded them on shapeshift.io.
You're talking about "Brain Wallets", which are effectively just the private keys generated from a bunch of words. They're inherently insecure compared to a properly generated private key, as the address is actually able to be brute forced. You can't brute force a normal DGB address though.
There's even people who've used half a line from obscure south african songs as a brain wallet for Bitcoin and had their stuff removed.
Basically, if you had the password for your wallet.dat file, but not the wallet.dat file itself, you've got nothing. You should ALWAYS test restore your stuff, especially when talking about money. The wallet.dat is your actual private keyset, and the password is just the wallet.dat being run through ssl encryption.
Edit: Afrikaans poem. See here for "What is a brain wallet": https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/guides/what-is-a-bitcoin-brain-wallet/
Sorry, dude! I should have sent you this link as well. https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/guides/how-to-mine-digibyte/
Do what this how to says, just replace SGminer with ccminer as you will be mining on Nvidia rather than AMD.
Your .bat script will just need to have this line;
ccminer.exe --algo=myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9003 -u username.worker -p x
Don't use shapeshift.io, the fees are too high.
The two exchanges with the highest volume are Poloniex (that's the one I use) and Bittrex. Those are your best bets.
Cool, Google actually has a decent API for it that you can use for a while: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/candlestickchart
A better option but little more complicated is highcharts highstock series of charts: http://www.highcharts.com/stock/demo/candlestick
Wanted to make one myself, but got too much at once right now and I'm not the best programmer. Just make it real-time and you will be a success, as a day-trader refreshing the page every few seconds is a headache.
Maybe I'm going crazy. I could've sworn I saw one on Amazon. But I can't find it now.
The cheapest one I could find is a Gekkoscience miner at 15 GH/s for 125. That's still a decent price. Although I'm not sure how good the manufacturer is

Look, I'm a DGB fan, but I hold XVG too. And you sir are part of the problem with crypto--talking shit with zero to back it up.
DGB uses BTC tech. XVG does not. It is inherently more difficult to implement on Ledger.
Check out the Altcoin Support section on Ledger's Trello Roadmap. It costs 150k Euros to implement a BTC based altcoin.
Do some research instead of sounding like a fool.

I've got a pair of these OG socks, plus a pair of the new ones they offer. Envy of the office with such stylish socks 😎
I made payment of 0.66579800 BitcoinSV to Coinsbee for an amazon gift card:
The BSV address Coinsbee gave me to pay into: 19gtzMCPh4VhRiCkJNWG8aDKtBX3VAtBaJ
Tranasction Hash (txid): 9863a98469ff5c245aa17750caf1310dd8a7132e2bca88f36bda0a756a9ea5b0
However I never received any confirmation email nor any Amazon GC after making the BSV payment.
What is most concerning is that Coinsbee has since moved the 0.66579800 BSV out of that address we paid into, it not like they are unaware.
I emailed Coinsbee customer support and got a very badly written reply that my invoice ticket expired before I made the payment (which is totally untrue as there was almost 17 minutes left on the clock when I hit send) so they gave me the link to Coingate to fill out the refund form, but I never received the order number and transaction number from an order that I never received a confirmation email for!
..I still have not received any refund nor the Amazon Gift Card
I found this the easiest way too (Fiat -> BTC -> DGB).
The first time I went through ETH-DGB on Bittrex, thinking of cheaper fees, but I ended up spending a bit more, due to some mistakes I made on gas (Bittrex ETH wallet is on a smart contract and it needs more gas than standard Tx) and due to lower liquidity on the ETH/DGB market compared to the BTC/DGB one.
So for me (in Europe) the easiest way is to buy DGB from Fiat is:
Fiat € sent to Kraken (via SEPA)
Fiat € --> BTC on Kraken
BTC sent to Phone wallet and then sent to Bittrex
BTC --> DGB on Bittrex
DGB sent to my wallet
There are easier and quicker ways, like buying on litebit.eu or using shapeshift.io (if you already have some other coin) but you'll spend a little more. Which is totally fine as they're offering a very good service.
from above

theres really nothing to the minecraft thing
I'm in TX & we too are blocked from using many exchanges. I use ChangeNow, its is based in The Netherlands, check it out on TrustPilot. I first discovered it when trying to find a way to buy Bittorrent BTT. I make purchases with a visa card, some banks/credit cards may deny the payment. If the payment doesn't go through contact your bank to confirm you are making this purchase. My bank sends me a text message to verify. The fees are high, they actually increase the price of the coin by .01, but the coin is your's, it goes to your wallet. You do not have to worry about it being stuck on apps like Robinhood, Voyager etc.
The process is super quick, the payment is through Simplex. They purchase BTC on btc.com, swap it for you & send it to your wallet. They send emails throughout the entire process & even a verification email to make sure you received your coins in your wallet. If you already have coins (which I didn't) you can just swap, the fees are way less this route.

You don't really own the tokens and they might become one of those business that scams and locks people out of their accounts.
It's probably nothing to worry about, but there have already been some allegations against Uphold. You can send the DGB as XRP, then use ChangeNOW.io to exchange it back to DGB and put it in an Exodus wallet or something. Uphold won't allow you to directly send it as DGB, but if you send it as XRP and back then the fees should be almost nothing.
This right here. Changenow.io was very simple, and similar to Abra but I think better. I entered my Exodus DGB wallet address and the DGB was sent in about 10 minutes. The Simplex email I received showed a BTC address so I thought I made an error but it turned out to be ok and I received it to my Exodus wallet a short while after.
Go and register an account in Poloniex
If you want to use Litecoin to buy DGB, just transfer the Litecoin to your Poloniex' LTC wallet, transfer again your LTC to BTC wallet, then use your BTC to buy Digibyte in Poloniex.
Based on http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/ Poloniex is the top DGB market.
Hope this helps you. HOLD!!!
Sign up for Coinex. Buy LTC on Coinbase (or wherever) and transfer to Coinex. Buy DGB on Coinex (transfer LTC->BTC on Coinex).

Hi! Thanks for you opinion! Soon we'll add DigiByte support on [Guarda web-based wallet](https://guarda.co/app). Stay tuned to check it out! Guarda Web Wallet is multi-currency, has a built-in exchange and coins purchase with a bank card. Even more, it’s highly secure as you are the only owner of your private keys/backups.
Yes you make a firm point. The market may have been influenced by high end traders however that doesn't by any means indicate that it will collapse. Anyway the Citi awards will have a part to play in this. Your view on this is interesting. Comment on

Your incite would be useful
You can convert through https://changelly.com/ without opening an account, but you'll need somewhere to send it. Get a Trezor, DGB is already listed on it so you can keep it in cold storage and negate any third party liability
Converted ETH to DGB via Changelly - https://changelly.com . Use DGB mobile app or desktop wallet apps to hold your DGB. When ready to sell, use same service to covert to another crypto and then exchange for fiat or invest in other crypto. 👍🏻
Changelly.com has been a great platform for purchasing DGB. Just have to get USDT or another coin onto their site and swap for Digibyte and within seconds to minutes (depending on coin) DBG is in your wallet. Not financial advice. Just try a small amount first or several times so that you are comfortable with the process.
As a noob I also have Uphold. I just found this info from them on Digibyte wallets https://uphold.com/en/digital-wallet/digibyte.
"We hold your keys so you don’t have to worry about custody. Around 90% of our crypto is held in cold storage."
Hi u/moonpumper, we're glad to hear you are enjoying Uphold services!
Many users from Digibyte's community have requested network transfers integration. We hope to implement these features for some of our current Tier 4 currencies in the future.
Yes the HUMBL Team and DigiByte are quite close - HUMBL CTO Adam Wolfe even made a DigiByte Point of Sale App called DigiCafe. As of right now though, I believe DGB is only added in their BLOCK offerings. In the future I hope that changes and we see more cool stuff like a real DGB Wallet and DigiAsset implementations, I know they are capable and passionate about DigiByte!
If you live in NYC best bet is to download the DigiByte wallet and ProtonVPN. Turn on the VPN and then go to changeangel.io
Use your DigiID to login and then swap whatever coins for DGB and send them directly to your wallet.
Ask me if I live in NYC...😉
The DigiByte Android app;
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.digibyte&hl=en
P.s. to register for the site you will need to use Digi-ID, which just requires you to tap the fingerprint button on the app and scan the QR code shown on screen
The future is here :)
Hmm I believe this one for Android works with no withdrawal fee. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=id.nyandev.digibytefaucet you can also join the Telegram Discussion group to ask if someone wants to help you out with a little DGB.
Thanks mate, there is no workaround that I can find, I can backup the keys in that app, however when I send them / export, it doesn't matter, nothing can open them. I can but don't have to enter a password to export the keys from that app, and, they are saved as DigiByte-wallet-keys-2018-08-19 with no extension. Starting to think this app is the only thing that can open then back up?! I do have the full DigiBtye Core app installed if it would help (and fully up to date with the blockchain)
Looks like I'm back to waiting for this app to resync (hopefully this year XD)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet.digibyte
I need to do some digging it seems, I have the wallet keys, wondering if I can some how use those to open up a new wallet and import my DGB?
More info, this is the wallet I have had forever:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet.digibyte
This is a great hardware encrypted usb as well https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G31OS4O/ref=twister_B00GPL355U?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 it guards against brute force attacks, if you enter the password wrong 10 times it locks the data and you have to format the drive to use it again.
There is an informative book about the beginnings of DigiByte back in 2014. It is available to buy from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/DigiByte-History-First-Christopher-Thompson/dp/1519602804/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492533251&sr=8-1&keywords=digibyte
