I highly recommend Exodus. Most user friendly design, and handles multiple altcoins.
If you need advanced features, and even more availiable altcoins I recommend the "Eden" version of Exodus.
From the Exodus roadmap: >Monero remains on the Exodus roadmap and we are excited to include this asset. Unfortunately, the UI/UX of Monero remains difficult and is still not ideal. Today novice users continue have difficulty with transaction notifications from the current beta GUI wallet from the Monero core team. Because Exodus does personal one-on-one support for each Exodus user we feel including Monero too early would cause a massive support burdon and confuse casual digital asset enthusiasts. Good news is we are getting closer and we do expect Monero to be included in 2017. Although pros and technical users may like bleeding edge technology, until Monero is rock solid, tested and “dog-fooded” internally Exodus will not release Monero until it is ready for “normal” (non-technical) digital asset consumers.
I would guess there are good chances that Monero will be included in 2017 in a Exodus "preview/beta".. for now it's not included in it https://www.exodus.io/eden/
Boa sorte!
It would be nice if OMG also integrated with Trezor wallet. With Trezor you can use Exodus wallet for a beautiful and user friendly interference and exchange assets securely offline on Trezor hardware. The exchange fees are ridiculously high though. https://www.exodus.io
If onley OMG could provide a better solution to the exchange mechanism used by Exodus to then with no doubt they’ll become a world exchange.
The Factoid-price reacts very sensitive on the Bitcoin-price. And: It's already a nice rise since June. Many are very good in the profit zone and therefore quick with pressing the sell-button. But it's healthy and there are a lot of signs that M2 will be released in the next weeks and https://www.exodus.io will add Factoids soon after M2 or even contemporaneous. Plus: They were always good in surprising us with new partnerships. What I want to say with that: It's just a question of time, and I'm not speaking of months, that the market will have something to react on in a positive way - maybe even with some hype, because Factom gets more and more attention. I personally feel safer with holding Factoids than with holding Bitcoin.
Safe is a relative term. Whilst I agree that hardware wallets are better than purely software wallets the latter are still "safe" if used correctly. If you are only storing small amounts of coins the cost of a hardware wallet becomes a factor and something like Exodus Wallet may be more appropriate.
Where to purchase BTC
Coinbase is very expensive for Canadians because you can only use credit cards. The final fee you pay for a purchase is 4.49% (3.99% to use your credit card and 0.50% for the purchase).
Canadian Bitcoins is also expensive. Their current sell price is CA$4,546.94 per bitcoin versus QuadrigaCX whose sell price is CA$4,386.00 per bitcoin. This means Canadian Bitcoins is charging an extra 3.67% right now.
I recommend purchasing through QuadrigaCX. Once verified, you can fund your account by wire transfer (free) or by Interac Online (1.5%). Their purchase fee is also 0.50%.
Which wallet to use
If you are just getting started with a small amount of money, you can try Exodus. It supports several currencies and is very user-friendly. Note that it is not open source.
If you plan on spending a personally significant amount of money on crypto, you should buy a hardware wallet to be safe. Popular hardware wallets at the moment are Trezor and Ledger Nano S.
Hope this helps!
Hi, co-founder of Exodus (https://www.exodus.io) here...
We're hiring:
All positions are remote. Review positions here: https://www.exodus.io/jobs/ - (engineering positions not listed) then shoot us an email to :)
Exodus is a really good choice as well and you get the native like staking rate directly in the wallet along with other coin support and exchanges. You do have to click a button to collect your staking rewards every so often but that's not a big deal https://www.exodus.io/
Hi, co-founder of Exodus here...
Thank you for posting about this. This should be fixed in the latest version 1.22.0 that was released on Friday (https://www.exodus.io/releases/). In 1.22.0, if you rescan the blockchain, it should pick up the hidden coins: http://support.exodus.io/knowledge_base/topics/my-balance-is-not-correct
Let us know if this does not work. In the future, you can email us at , join our public Slack: https://exodus-invite.herokuapp.com/ or call us at 402-500-0805
Thanks again for the report and feedback! We couldn't get to where we want to be without watchful community members like you :)

Hi u/cointasticariba -
Your XMR landed in your Exodus wallet about 13 hours ago. Please update your wallet to the latest version (20.4.23):
https://www.exodus.io/download/
Once you're using the latest version, your XMR should appear.
Put it is a crypto wallet. Each currency has its own wallet. If you own multiple crypto currencies a multi coin wallet be a better easier to use as you would use one software vs multiple. Exodus is well know multi crypto wallet. Coinbase does offer a multi crypto wallet for mobile device. The wallet is separate from your coinbase account. You could link the wallet to our ac to make send coins easier.
Above are called hot wallet. They are connected to the internet so thay are secure as the device they are used one. If the device gets hacked the wallet might get hacked as well.
For extra safety, you could use cold wallet. Cold wallet is an offline wallet it could receive coins but not send them. Once a cold wallet is connected online is best to treat it as a hot wallet. Cold wallets could be paper wallet or hardware wallet. Paper wallet is just a piece of paper that has the privet and public keys print on it. Hardware wallet, like ledger or tezos, are usb like device what stores your private key. They supposed multiple currencies and but easier to use than paper wallets. Hardware wallet cost between $ 50 - $150. I don't think hardware wallet is worth it unless you are storeing +100 thousands of dollars.
Note the securer the option, the harder/longer it becomes to exchange the crypto to fiat due to the extra step is needed to move money around into the exchange. Also with all options above it is important to make sure that you don't lose your private keys as if you lose it you will not be able to retrieve your wallet.

Personally, I moved it to Exodus wallet for now(https://www.exodus.io/) once the snapshot is done and the new coins show up i'll be moving them back to the exchange to trade(maybe) depending on price.
Lol I can't tell if this is a troll or not...
So let me get this straight? You are upset that the WALLET you downloaded, doesn't currently allow you to EXCHANGE a certain coin? Hold on Karen, we are getting the manager right away for you!
So, how do you think they are scamming you out of your money by not letting you exchange a coin? Please explain to me how you came to the conclusion that this is a scam.
You can't call out their level of incompetence when you couldn't even do the basic research about the wallet before downloading it. You say the greatest minds behind exodus couldn't figure how to show which exchanges were unavailable yet they do, very clear as day on their website. You just never bothered to look before actually downloading. https://www.exodus.io/status/
Stop yelling at other people and look in the mirror a little bit.
Bummer! I'm sure this is stressful.

Sounds like you are getting some conflicting feedback from these systems. The important thing to understand is that there are multiple wallets at work, under the hood. (It sounds like you have, at least, two -- coinbase's hosted wallet and your own private bitcoin wallet with a seed phrase.)

If you put your seed into electrum, and it shows as empty, then it almost certainly is. Though you could double-check by trying another wallet like Exodus. (https://www.exodus.io/)

I wasn't aware that Coinbase had ATMs. Are you sure that it was a *coinbase* ATM?

Is there any chance you have another seed laying around? Also, I think that if you reach out to LocalBitcoins support, they will help you recover your account.
Try out Exodus wallet.
It can serve as a wallet for both your Dash and Ethereum, also many other coins, and it has shapeshift built into the wallet for exchanging between coins with one click.
Exodus is far more convenient if you don't want to deal with exchanges.
ZelTrez Wallet is also a good one, but they just launched and are in the process of adding coins. Dash isn't listed yet but it will be. They have Shapeshift, Changelly, and Kyber exchange integrated into their wallet. They are buidling their own decentralized exchange into the wallet using masternodes. I know miners a loving Zelcash at the moment, which is their native currency.
Go to https://www.exodus.io/releases/ , you will find the latest changelog there which says "You can now send and receive Digibyte. To add Digibyte to your portfolio visit the Settings section then click Assets to turn it on." Hope this helps :)

is this the legit link for exodus wallet? i don't see it in the sidebar
edit: Maybe one of the mods should consider adding the link for exodus in the sidebar and removing jaxx, since it is just a hotwallet.
There is no mining. Currently, no factoids are being created at all. The Factoids in existence are from the ICO (Initial Coin Offering). The Factom protocol is operated by a federation of server, and after the third milestone those servers will be rewarded with newly created Factoids. Developers are only just finishing the second milestone (Federation).
There is both a terminal interface wallet and a rough GUI wallet. Soon, some other wallet options will be available including integration from the Exodus wallet.
Both cosmosation.io and Exodus wallet give 9-10% apy. I havent used cosmostation (I use Exodus) but setting up either is pretty simple and both have desktop as well as mobile apps.
I understand where you are coming from here and your heart is in the right place, but you are essentially asking users to give you crypto directly and then you’ll donate it? Unless I missed something. This creates a bit of a trust issue and could also cost you tons in capital gains taxes if you aren’t properly incorporated to receive charitable donations as a non profit. Might I suggest hosting a list of existing charities that accept crypto while you work on getting structured? ( this is assuming you are not already after I looked at your page, also assuming you are in the US which I realize you may not be. feel free to disregard if it doesn’t apply, just my two cents.)
https://www.exodus.io/dogecoin-wallet on high demand it might be so that they stall a certain coin to be traded inside the wallet though (u can still send and receive) Set it up and check first!
Doge isn’t JUST a meme and a great community. It’s also a potentially GREAT investment. Back in May of this year, this article came out explaining that when ETH hits $400 they’ll continue working on a Dogethereum bridge where DOGECOIN will use ETH’s smart contracts. https://www.exodus.io/blog/dogethereum-dogethereum-bridge/
Well ETH hit $400 and beyond. Now, late January, DOGECOIN will be used in Flare Networks with EVM based smart contracts. https://ethereumcryptocurrency.com/2021/01/28/flare-networks-to-integrate-dogecoin-doge-prior-to-network-launch/
Quote from the first article: “The idea of using blockchain not just for payments (e.g. Bitcoin) but also for all kinds of Dapps, catapulted ETH to the #2 spot in the crypto industry in just a few short years. Dogecoin is already one of the most popular crypto assets. If smart contracts can take Ethereum from obscurity to #2 in just a few short years, imagine what a Dogethereum bridge that links DOGE to Ethereum’s smart contract capabilities could do for DOGE.”

Apologies for the poor experience here. Our exchange partners are experiencing a large backlog of orders and downtime, so in the meantime, pair availability is reduced for many assets sadly. Please keep an eye on our Status Page for updates:

You can use the XUMM mobile wallet by Ripple. You can enter your Private Keys into it and gain access to your XRP. Alternatively you can also use the Exodus Desktop Wallet too. By inputting your Private Keys. Just be sure these are official wallets from official sites.
Exodus Desktop Wallet which also has Mobile via Google Play Store. https://www.exodus.io/
XUMM is on Google Play Store. Search XUMM
Good Luck,
A way that may be easier for you would be to import the keys to the Exodus wallet and it will split them for you and allow you to trade them for a lot of other cryptos. It's what I did for my BSV and I haven't heard any negative press about Exodus wallet.
edit for https://www.exodus.io/download/
You should not be entering any identifying information when registering a wallet. You download an app, you enter a phone number for 2FA, you set a password, and you get your seed phrase. You need to do research more carefully.
Hi u/speedfire21 -
If your friend already sent a report to the support team, then someone will be getting back to him soon. I'm not sure which error they may be seeing and there are several possible reasons for sending errors. I wouldn't be able to dig into this as deeply as the support team will be able to with the safe report.
One of the most common errors I see for wallets that aren't functioning properly though is that people aren't running the latest and greatest version of Exodus. Please make sure your friend has Version 20.8.19 downloaded. If not, the newest versions can always be found here:
https://www.exodus.io/download/
Sorry - but other than that, they'll have to wait for a response once the team gets their report.
https://www.exodus.io/monero-wallet
https://support.exodus.io/article/1049-why-cant-i-send-or-exchange-monero-xmr
Exodus is great, especially for Monero. Nodes can be unstable at times but check back again later and it might be working. I’m not sure your particular issue but what I am sure of is your attitude posting here and how you’re approaching it is all wrong.
Maybe you didn’t do enough research beforehand or maybe you encountered a regional problem (exodus isn’t available in some states) but you should take a more calm approach about it.
Support in this sub is pretty good and you’ll probably get a response soon from a moderator. Try emailing support too, though I wouldn’t advise taking the same aggressive approach if you hope to get good service in return.
Give respect to get respect. Treat people how you would like to be treated.

Be careful. Easy to get scammed!
Monero is a cryptocurrency, just like Bitcoin- but a little bit less popular. It's more focused on user privacy and fungibility (ability to use it like cash).

I've used Exodus desktop wallet to swap small amounts of XLM for Dash. Worked like a charm and the fee was reasonable. Supports many pairs, so you might be lucky and get to offload all coins at once. Don't keep your funds on it though, as it is a closed source product. Android/iOS wallet is probably the most convenient method to store Dash until Dashpay is released (device independent, account-based).
Convert to BTC using https://xmr.to and then you can explore further options. You won't find a magic tool to convert XMR to BSV.
Maybe you can also try https://www.exodus.io - I have heard that you can sell and buy crypto within the wallet, but never tried myself.
Have a look at https://www.exodus.io which supports many coins and has a built in exchange. I don't think you can buy through paypal, probably best to buy on a regular exchange for that. Also exodus can use a trezor hardware wallet to store your coins for extra security.
Just wanted to let fellow Vechainers know that Exodus desktop now has a dedicated Vechain wallet. It is is not automatically added to your Portfolio screen and you need to click on the plus sign in the top right hand corner and scroll down or search VEN. Then just tick the box and it will appear on your home screen.
I transferred over a small stack from Binanace to test it out and it looks sweet sitting in a Vechain wallet and on my pie chart in Exodus. After Binance sorts out the split I will have to see if they upgrade the Vechain wallet on Exodus. Some people here mentioned not liking mobile wallets also. I hope this is an option until we can get an official desktop wallet. https://www.exodus.io
Here are some things to get you started.
Exodus wallet: you need this to recieve and send bitcoins, litecoins, and some other currencies, you have other wallets out there, but I use this one :) Don't forget to write down all the codes you use and passphrases you get which you have set after installing the wallet.
BTC direct: an exchange where you can buy bitcoins with cash (Don't know if this accesible from the UK, sorry :/). This would be the second place you go, after downloading a wallet. when paying for the bitcoins on that site, they'll ask for a "receive address", that is where you enter the bitcoin address you can find in your wallet. Read the FAQ on this site to have some questions answered, like what the fees are and what you need to to do to be a able to use the site. For instance you will need to verify your account before being able to trade on it, by sending them a picture with your ID next to you.
Bittrex: an exchange where you can trade the bitcoin you bought on the previous site for other, different kinds of crypto currencies, on this site, agein, read the FAQ. On this site you'll also need to verify your account by sending ID to them and such.
These are basically the three things you need to know about to get started with trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies :) However, I would advise to lookup more "how to get started with crypto" and what not on google.
Also, never listen to people on here saying "buy X coin" Always, and I mean ALWAYS, do your own research. People will Always try to "shill" their own investments. If you don't know what Shilling means, look it up ;)
Hope this helps! :)
Move your coins to Exodus if you don't have a physical hardware wallet. Exodus is a multi-cryptocurrency desktop based wallet that boasts an easy-to-use UI. You can keep your Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash etc in it and when you sign up to Exodus you get a 12-24 word seed phrase which acts as your back up. This is independent of Exodus and can be used with many Bitcoin wallets (e.g. Electrum, Trezor, Ledger) to restore funds .So as long as you have your backup seed there’s nothing to fear, even if Exodus goes out of business. Much safer option than storing coins on exchanges. https://www.exodus.io/
Download https://www.exodus.io, encrypt the wallet, transfer your ETH and wait. Unless you lose your private key, you're safe. No need to take a loss, prices will rise. Just don't leave anything on Coinbase (or any exchange at all), I don't trust them.
hmmm. where is my info stored? in my computer? in the chain, which chain? the collateral look great but i have difficulty trusting the backend tech, didnt find anything that talks about it in the site.
thanks
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! If you have your 12-word seed phrase backed up, try reinstalling Exodus: https://www.exodus.io/download/
If that doesn't work, unfortunately, we don't have the tools to remedy this problem here. Please reach out to our support channel: https://www.exodus.com/contact-support/
We've had a large influx of users recently, which has lead to our support team being backed up a bit. However, sit tight, and I can assure you that your support ticket will be answered. Thank you for your patience!
Remember, Exodus will NEVER ask for your 12-word phrase, password or lead you to a website that is not Exodus.com. Be cautious of individuals impersonating customer support. They will most likely reach out to you privately.

Hi, Canadian here. I used Shakepay to buy Bitcoin then used a website called ChangeNOW and converted my Bitcoin into Dogecoins into my Exodus Wallet and it worked fine for me.
Exodus does have a In-application converter but guess what? Somehow We cant trade to Dogecoin. Coincidence? I think not. You can use any good place to buy Bitcoin too. Kraken, Coin base. I was skeptical of the Converter website cuz it took 30-40mins to get my dogecoins but it really does work.
Depends what you want to stake.
Exodus has a really helpful site for explaining staking of all coins. Here’s a basics guide from them:

While you can store your Dogecoin on Binance, most would recommend that you do not store your cryptocurrency long-term on an exchange. Rather, download an wallet like Exodus and store your cryptocurrency on there. This way, if something were to happen on the exchange, your Dogecoin isn't at risk of being involved. If you only plan on holding Dogecoin for a short period of time, you can get by with keeping it on the exchange. Again, that is not recommended by most.
First, try getting your own ETH wallet to transfer the USDT to. The easy way is to go to https://www.exodus.io/ and make a wallet. If they are not permitted to do business with Texas Residents and that is where you live, you may have to establish residence elsewhere and send them evidence that you now live in a jurisdiction where they can serve you. Always keep your coins in your own wallet and never leave them on an exchange longer than it takes to buy or trade them. I hate KYC and refuse to submit to it. Good luck. If you have questions along the way just ask. I will do what I can to guide you.

In the U.S. : Open a Coinbase account, buy Ethereum or Bitcoin, open a Bittrex account, and trade what you bought for dogecoin, then download the Exodus wallet and send it back to your computer so you control your coins.
Do this backwards to cash out.
Doge is merge mined with Litecoin. https://www.exodus.io/blog/how-to-mine-dogecoin/
Anyway they both have ~2.5m block timing and Doge in particular is prone to delays because the throughput on Litecoin and Doge is so low. I don’t know your transaction but maybe it had a low fee?

Hi u/ben60601 -
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this!
Did you download your Exodus app by going through the official website?
https://www.exodus.io/
There have been a lot of scam apps lately and I'm wondering if you accidentally downloaded one of them instead; otherwise there's not much chance of this happening.
So sorry to see that you're having issues.
Unfortunately, that message can be for a number of different things and doesn't give us much of a clue.
All I can suggest is to try it a few more times as not every attempt is successful yet unfortunately.
Also, please make sure you're running the latest version of the wallet to assure that everything is working properly. Newest update is today:
https://www.exodus.io/download
And you could try closing the app and doing a full reboot of your device. Sometimes giving it a clean slate to work from gives it a fresh connection.
If those don't work, please contact the Exodus support team at [email protected] and one of the support team can help you figure out what's going on.
You have More than 25 Pending Transactions. It looks like the ETH network is very congested. I would wait longer. If this still remains an issue, contact Exodus Wallet support.
NOTE: Exodus Staff will NEVER ask for sensitive information, including passwords, 12-word phrases or private keys.
Use the Exodus Desktop Wallet, it holds multiple coins. Store your passphrase in a very safe place. And you can also extract each Crypto private keys, if you choose, write them down and put in a safe place.
I had the same issue and the majority of exchanges in the US will not carry FUN. I went ahead and transferred mine to https://www.exodus.io/ and then converted to BCH when selling to transfer to my other wallets
Hi u/botanist667 -
No , you're not missing anything. XMR is not currently supported by the Exodus/Trezor integration.
You can see which assets are supported by Exodus and our Trezor integration by referring to our Status page on the website:
https://www.exodus.io/status/
Well, DOT is a nice design, fixes some of the issues that make ethereum difficult at the moment. But ethereum, having been around longer, has the first mover advantage and dominates in terms of adoption.
Bitcoin is already linked to ethereum in a couple of ways. Some trustless (like ren, tbtc and liquality atomic swaps) some custodial bridges like wBTC.
DOGE, not sure. I know that dogethereum was a project, not sure what happened there...
EDIT: found it > https://www.exodus.io/blog/dogethereum-dogethereum-bridge/
Hi u/b0hater -
Sorry but DOGE is not part of the Exodus/Trezor integration.
You can see the list of assets that Exodus supports and whether or not their supported by our Trezor integration.

So, it crashes with both the Apple App Store and Google Play apps?
Are you following the download links through our official website?

There have been a lot of fake apps lately and just want to make sure you have an official download.
