Install it with Sandboxie.
>It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive.
Processes inside containers everywhere including on mobile devices. It's a good way to enforce resource access, isolation. But getting it right so that non tech users aren't too much burdened is difficult. There are already few solutions but requires proactively using them. Containers can be used to isolate dependencies so that OS doesn't become a garbage dump of legacy support while still allowing legacy apps to run.
I didn't bother with the registry. In the sandbox settings there's a folders section that you can deny the c drive and add an exception. I don't have the app in front of me, but the setting is there.
This may help.
It works but it's so clunky.
I used to use Sandboxie to sandbox everything - especially my web browser. With Bookmark and history syncing on, throwing away all the changes when you shut down the browser and the sandbox deleted itself was no problem, and the binary had no meaningful access to the host OS. Sadly it started giving me issues and recently it's been in some turmoil, https://sandboxie-plus.com seems to be one open sourced variant that's still worked on though, I think I'll have to see what's going on there.
You don’t need to encrypt all files, extensions/addons can’t access any data outside the browse. Although if you really want to make sure you could use something like sandboxy on windows, or flatpaks on linux.
> My PC is still running fine after years of using FileCRs torrents. Piratebay has been dead for years I recommend to use better sites to find what you are looking for.
Might recommending sandboxing pirated software though. Sandboxie is one such sandboxing software.
> I'll just leave this here.
I'd say TPB is still useful, most of the movies I watch can be found there. Obviously you should go for private trackers if you want quality torrents.

a site i use pretty often is called agfy iv used them for years had no issues at all no viruses or any of that jazz it just works but obviously thats only my experiences so it might be different for you so again use at your own risk below is a link to the Microsoft office 2021 professional crack download on agfy

if you wanna guarantee security use a virtual machine or run it in sandboxie linked below
A VM would be a solution, but:
> go into a virtual machine which has the encrypted files inside.
you'd have to encrypt the VM itself (with your super-secret files in it) or there would be accessible traces inside of it. Virtualbox works great, it even runs W11 on my non-compliant W10 machine, ha ha!
But I was thinking of something like Sandboxie or these other suggestions.
When I was still using XP I had a marvelous program (whose name I sadly can't remember, and anyway it's obsolete by now) which froze the state of the machine. Then I could install any software for testing purposes, even viruses, and exiting the frozen state everything was back to pre-freeze state, including the registry.
But as I said, I'm not up to speed on all that.
> I am just frustrated that everything has to be dump into my C drive (mostly in Appdata, roaming folder)
This is why Sandboxie was made - everything gets installed and run from one single folder on your C drive.
You can use Sandboxie to install programs in an isolated sandbox. Most programs apart from things like anti-virus software will work just as if they were running normally but you will be able to completely erase the programs very easily. This is particularly useful when testing software or if you know you only need a certain piece of software for a one off thing and want to install it temporarily. Sandboxie is also very good for security since if you run your browser inside it even if there was an unpatched exploit in your browser any malware that manages to get to your PC will be isolated to your sandbox and wont be able to damage your system. Speaking of browsers sandboxie is also very handy as a kind of "super private browsing" tool. What I mean by this is that if you launch your browser in a brand new sandbox (that you could also configure to automatically wipe it's contents once your browser is closed) every single change that happens including new browsing history, cookies, new installed extensions etc will all be contained within that sandbox and once you launch your browser normally/in a different sandbox it will be as if nothing you just did ever happened.
ideally, you buy your alt from frontier directly (not via steam etc.) so you don't have to run a seperate launcher (besides the frontier one). Then you can just switch accounts in the launcher.
If constantly having to switch accounts is anoying, or you want to use both accounts at the same time, you get yourself a sandboxing program, make a sandboxed partition on your harddrive and install a second install of elite on that. You use your alt account to login to that install. To run them at the same time, you have to run the second install sandboxed but it works just fine. You can also run more than 2 accounts at the same time this way, as long as you have seperate installs for each.
After the threat is removed either by AV or re-installing windows, you should install sandboxie (https://sandboxie-plus.com/). Once you run your browser (or any program) sandboxed, all threats stay inside the sandbox, and just emptying the contents of the sandbox gets rid of everything.
No made up words. I'm a professional software engineer.
> Emulated Environment
A software environment that is entirely simulated in memory. Typically used to enable the execution of off-architecture executables, such as video game ROMs, ARM-based apps (running Android apps on Windows, etc), or to reverse engineer software, usually malware.

> Sandbox
A piece of software used to run a program in an isolated environment. Typically used in "no trust" execution scenarios.
> Ring 0
A term synonymous with "kernel level" in computer science applications.

TL;DR: get fucked Big Brained Reddit know-it-all
Just start the Mir4.exe directly inside a sandbox. Doesn't matter if it is steam or global launcher. Free to use https://sandboxie-plus.com/
For each account you need to create 1 sandbox and run the game inside it via right click on the mir4.exe and press start sandboxed. After that select the sandbox you want to run.
Do NOT forget to create X amount of sandbox beforehand. There will be a couple of errors that sandbox will show you but you can ignore those.
If you want to run multiple accounts at once on PC use https://sandboxie-plus.com/ and create a sandbox for each client. If you installed the Game via Steam go directly into the folder where the game is saved and run the Mir4.exe inside a sandbox from the prog.
This maybe a very inefficient solution but you can create a virtual machine and run it within it. It is also possible that the program might not allow itself to run in Virtual Machines.
Another solution is to download Sandboxie Plus, it's a open source program which runs programs in a sandbox, and doesn't let it make changes to the host. It may or may not work, you can try though. This uses less resources than the virtual machine aswell.
Here's how: https://sandboxie-plus.com/
Basically what you do is install Sandboxie, create a new sandbox, then install Epic Launcher from within Sandboxie to the sandbox. Then simply launch the Epic launcher from a desktop shortcut or from within Sandboxie.
I've done it before with Steam and run two Steam accounts on my PC. Haven't tried with Epic, but should be possible.
For exact instructions, try to find some tutorials on YouTube.
One thing, don't just run .exe files that came from a resource you don't know!!!! Download sandboxie to run it What is a sandbox you might ask? A sandbox is a program that runs a .exe or other files in a separate environment from yours, making so that the .exe is isolated from your computer files! Here you have the link for it: https://sandboxie-plus.com/
I believe Sandboxie is what you're looking for, it's a program that allows you to open programs in an isolated "sandbox" that has it's own files and folders and settings, and it doesn't interfere with your original programs and files.
So basically you can use it to open multiple instances of any program you want, and they will all be different from each other.
Learn to use Sandboxie (Plus).
I install everything in a separate sandbox. You can then simply make a backup of your sandbox folders. After reinstalling Windows, reinstall Sandboxie and copy the backup over. Done.
It limits what a program can do in the system. You could limit what files the program running in the sandbox can read and write, can it use the network etc..
I use apparmor and firejail programs on Linux. When I still used Windows, I used Sandboxie, it seems to be still maintained and it's now open source. https://sandboxie-plus.com/sandboxie/
You might need to configure the sandbox to run the program correctly.
You could try Sandboxie to run a second instance, or perhaps even a virtual machine, but that may be overkill.
In a browser, you could use container tabs, like e.g. in Firefox.
