Here is their end-of-year development update. You can see screenshots of two of the things on your list (wish list and game reviews).
So they posted feature updates in August, September, October, and December. They were adding things every month, which I suspect maybe slowed down a bit due to the holidays.
As for cloud saving, that got implemented months ago. So I am not sure why that would even be on your list.
And Samurai Shodown Neogeo Collection is free too as expected weeks ago. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/samurai-shodown-neogeo-collection
Game is insanely massive and can be a little scary for completely new players, but it's also one of a kind in terms of MMOs.
Thankfully, the EVE team also set up a site for new players https://www.eveonline.com/now/eve-academy so I highly recommend visiting the academy, watching the videos, exploring which paths you can take, and make sure you scroll down and watch the "First Steps in EVE" video!
you can check gg.deals to see whether or not the games are actually at their historical lowest price so you get the best deals
red dead 2 is a really good long game, but it takes some patience because it starts off slow, a must if you're a rockstar fan and played (and enjoyed) their other games like la noire already
assassin's creed odyssey is another really long game, easily 50 hours so gotta make sure you're up for it and really love that style but for $5 it's the most bang for your buck here
jedi fallen order is great if you're a big star wars fan, it's like a more action-y dark souls if you like that style
i can't speak for the others but the three i mentioned get huge recommendations from me :)
Run CMD as admin, then type sfc /scannow, afterwards do Windows update, after restarting PC then check if issue still there, or not. It's possible .NET framework might be corrupted, and have to reinstall it. Unless you're using a 3rd party anti virus, then ensure it's not doing false positive quarantine your game files.
You can download the standalone, on page click Windows button, and there you can install the standalone version see if that works for you. Yes you can still access same account, as the login server on game dev side, not Epic, just like warframe.
Few interesting games at historical lows: Witcher 3, Star Wars Squadron, Octopath Traveler and more. If you're tired of looking through the clunky EGS, here's a handy list:
https://gg.deals/deals/?dealsDateFrom=2021-07-22&store=57
Yes, it would be great for Epic to add more features, and they have been adding in more features. With that being said:
You can see the statistics, which is time played, on your library. If you are on the tiled view, press the 3 dots under the tile image.
There are many games with achievements already, with more to come. Epic is also developing the achievement system.
You can actually use Steamlink with non Steam games.
When it comes to remote play, I think it's better to use a system that specializes in it, which is Parsec, it is massively better then what Steam offers, and honestly, I would rather see Epic partner up with Parsec and put Parsec on their store instead.
You're absolutely wrong.
Take a look at the top sellers on EGS currently: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/collection/top-sellers-top-20
20 titles. Of those:
Games that use Denuvo: Borderlands 3, Detroit, Zombie Army 4, Metro: Exodus.
Games that use Uplay: Assassins' Creed Odyssey, Assassins' Creed Origins, Anno 1800, The Division 2, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Rainbow Six Siege, FarCry 5.
Games that use other DRM: Red Dead Redemption 2.
Online-only games: Dauntless
Games that are DRM-free ONLY for single player: World War Z, MechWarrior 5, Journey to the Savage Planet (requires command line.)
DRM-free games: The Outer Worlds, Satisfactory (requires command line,) Control, Outer Wilds.
So out of the top-20 current best-selling games, only 4 are fully DRM-free. And of those 4, one requires you to add a command to skip EGS, which essentially means there's some form of DRM, however small. 16/20 top-selling games doesn't seem like less than a handful, or does it?
Also in grid view you can click the 3 dots under the game image and see your time played.
Im surprised your Google search didn't bring this up as first result. When I Google "Epic games time played" this is the first result.
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/news/september-store-feature-update
The unreal engine fee is 5% so by your calculations, it should be $9 millions from final fantasy 7 remake.
But I agree. Unreal engine is epic's main source of income. Comparing UE revenue with fortnite is a joke.
The engine is not only used on video games, but movies, transportation and construction as well : https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/
Observation is a great narrative-driven thriller set in space, resembling sci-fi movies of the same genre. It took me about 6 and a half hours to complete and made me want to start Stories Untold from the same developers. I really liked it, and would recommend it over Close to the Sun if you want more of a good story than exploration, although the games are similar in that they have female protagonists, good voice acting and dark, solvable puzzles and atmospheric environments.
Observation is rated 80/100 on Metacritic based on 20 critics reviews.
You can also check out its technical aspects summarized by me on PCGamingWiki.
I tried other options here. Launcher. Browser. Nothing worked.
I know they are obviously eventually working for people, but I was able to get the direct link to the store page and I can get that to load every time in Firefox.
edit: Loads super quick for me! https://imgur.com/a/inRG92E
note: if you get stuck in a loading loop after step 4, just refresh and it should bring up the confirmation. I think this may have been from me not logging in first, but obviously cannot confirm that now that I have the game.
note2: if you have trouble with Chrome (or any chromium browser), try Firefox or (shudder) Edge.
Hope this works for you guys and I'm sorry if it doesn't!
Next week's free games:
You'll need to use DS4Windows app
or see if attaching the game to Steam as a non-steam game and use their version of controller emulation. If Steam route doesn't work, then use DS4Windows.
Hey all we're working to get this all fixed. I saw a few people posting the link to the collection page: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/collection/batman-free-week

You can grab them there while we work on the launcher tile.
Are you familiar with GG.deals? It lists all the deals and rates them and you can see if a price is a historical low, etc. I think it would be helpful for you as well since I use it for a while now. Check it out here.
You can just connect your Dualshock 4 with a wire to your computer and for some games (Red Dead Redemption 2 or Assassin's Creed Odyssey for example) it works natively.
Other games, you have to download a tool called DS4Windows (https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases) and install it. By default, it will "emulate" a 360 controller. You can change this in the settings (as well as a BUNCH of other stuff, like using bluetooth, changing lightbar colors, having multiple profiles which are useful to switch between "native" dualshock support and "emulating" 360 controls, etc). Very useful tool if you use Dualshock 4 on PC.
Kingdom Hearts is complicated and I don't remember all the games, so I looked up an Amazon listing. Descriptions says, "Includes 10 Magical KINGDOM HEARTS series".
Wording is a bit weird, but that's what I based my claim off of.
Next week's free games:
I'm in Indonesia and have no problem claiming it https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/rocket-league/home
Why you didnt wanted to use VPN?
From what I remember you should request a password reset and go through that with a new password.

>Finally, some new users who create accounts are finding that their email address is already associated with an Epic account. Full game releases August 31, 2020 so the game will be $14.99 then via a $10 off Epic coupon. You just lose out on a timed-exclusive mad scientist cosmetic set and the closed beta of course.
Cloud saves are a planned feature, but they are not implemented yet. You can back up saves from the save folder the location of which you can find by looking up on PCGW
It's better to just wait for better sale prices on Epic to use the coupon. You done missed most of the $4.99 to $9.99 sales that are any good. All that's left really is World War Z, Outward and Metro Exodus.
Lego games are practically $0.99 to $4.99 all the time... https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/lego-batman-the-videogame/
I see, you already have a coupon. You couldn't get two coupons simultaneously; you got a new coupon each time after you had used the previous one. ~~You won't get new coupons now that the sale is over~~ You can get new coupons for one more week and you can use your coupon only on games and DLC that cost 14.99+.
You should check out the FAQ
It came with mine when I bought it just a week ago on Epic.
And it should come with it since the Gold edition has the season pass and the season pass says:

>Additional weapon
>Far Cry®3

>The SAMURAI SHODOWN NEOGEO COLLECTION is not only coming to the Epic Games Store, but it will also be free to download between June 11th and June 18th!
From Epic Games News Post
Let's review a few recent announcement, changes up to this point to think this next week's giveaway is going to be something groundbreaking at some point.:
> Announcement for Two-Factor Authentication requirement in order to claim giveaways. The suspicious part about this requirement was this very sentence;
>"Beginning today and ending on May 21, we will periodically require two-factor authentication prior to claiming free games on the Epic Games Store."
> A timer for the countdown says "unlocking in" instead of regular date for next week's giveaway.
> Going for all the trouble to render a fancy scene image (probably with Unreal Engine) to just demonstrate next week's giveaway.
> In June 6 there will be PCGamingShow which is sponsored by Epic Games. So the giveaway for the next week will boost a lot credits for Epic Games during the show if it's not already.
So make sure you're throwing your wildest guesses here.
I'll add
Manifold Garden, costs €15.99 in my region.
Superliminal also €15.99
I haven't played them yet but both are at the top of my wishlist. Both are first person puzzle/exploration games with good ratings.
>I haven't used my coupon either. Would have been easier if Epic had some of the games that are permanently missing from Steam.
Ask and you shall receive!
I had my eyes on this for months but I used my coupon earlier.
Now if only people would stop spreading misinformation and used google search once in a while.
I've been using Epic's offline mode for months.
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/news/launcher-offline-mode
Aye yup. It reminds me of the quote mentioned here: https://www.blender.org/press/epic-games-supports-blender-foundation-with-1-2-million-epic-megagrant/
> “Open tools, libraries and platforms are critical to the future of the digital content ecosystem,” said Tim Sweeney, founder and CEO of Epic Games. [...]
It would be great if they would support the open platform that is Linux, as it's critical in Tim's own words!
I did the same thing. You basically tied the bundle to your account. Now visit the Paladins page and tie the game to your account. You will then see it in your library to install and play.
This is the Paladins page.
P.S. Strix is awesome! I pop so many headshots with em' and never even used em' before.
They are on GOG.com and DRM-Free as well. That is enough for me. And for folks saying old UT is dead (currently EGS is drowning in competitive FPS games), I would laugh as hard as when I heard that Battlefield 2 is dead.
Might want to run the email that was associated with your account through this site to see if your email was compromised offsite: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Otherwise, I can only highly recommend to revert the information back to your own and take those steps to securing your account tightly.
NordVPN is a good one and should make it possible for you to buy stuff. One problem I had with Epic games when trying to buy from a country different than the one my account was set at (I moved abroad) was having to change my billing address country in the epic store settings. My country not matching my credit card only showed up after 2-3 years of using it tho, so maybe you won't encounter that at all.
I found a solution guys !!!!!! it has something to do with complications in your internet some kind of traffic interference.. anw what u have to do is :
- Download a VPN Software (I use ProtonVPN)
- Connect to any of the free places, re-launch epic and sign in. Enjoy !
There's this PCGamingWiki list I made.
To check an owned game for cloud support you can just look for it in the context menu by clicking on the three dots next to the title. Supported games will have an Enable Cloud Save toggle in it.
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Batman:_Arkham_Knight#Input_settings
Follow whatever steps are indicated for your PS4 controller (it's a DInput controller, just like PS3 ones). It says that second generation DInput are bugged, and there is no workaround listed in the database sadly.
For future reference, go to PCGamingWiki.com , it has information on a lot of stuff including controller support and how to set it up for most games, whether it's a DInput controller (PS3 or 4) or XInput (Xbox 360, One).
Oh okay sorry, thought you meant it another way. Glad to help! I recommend using the site ggdeals to check for good deals. (Remember to disable keyshops though, so you won't have unofficial sites like G2A)
Metro Exodus one of the best games in epic and is a AAA game. You can also get the other 2 Metro games for Very cheap. A must buy is Soma in my opinion. Currently at 90% off... https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/soma/home I got it for 1$ and is completely worth it.
/u/avidchrist
There was a major issue in the most recent version of the Launcher the other day. It kept DDOS'ing my router (sending like 800+ upload connections) crashing my network.
What I had to do was download the most recent Epic Games installer, reinstall it from the installer, and then restart Epic and try to get the recent patch a few times while it crashed my network another 2-3 times. Thankfully, I was finally able to get the updated version they pushed to fix this issue, and I was able to use it normally once again.
Download link: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/download
That link should download the 10.18.10 version for you, while the current version should be 10.19.1 once you get it all fixed up.
Good luck!
You can only use it for the addon packs you see in the store. Because the coupon has a minimum amount required, I think only the Jager Pack can be discounted because the others are under $14.
Next week: Blair Witch and Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered
Also, the Halloween Sale is live: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/discover/halloween-sale

You can claim in here:

Where does it say that?
4 games, need 3 gb RAM minimum, a good story game: The Walking Dead: Telltale Definitive Series. Also includes Michonne and the DLC A good value too, 19$... Your RAM's enough to play even Tomb Raider Trilogy...

Next one is probably in october for halloween https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/collection/halloween-sale and I don't think there's coupons.

Here is a link to the sales.
By getting the GOTY edition or the GOTY Edition Upgrade from the base WWZ game now, you’ll have the benefit of receiving all post-launch content, including the recently added Marseille missions, along with all weapon and character skin DLCs released so far.
Both SnowRunner and World War Z have even more content coming, with a new class being crafted for World War Z, and an entire Season Pass for SnowRunner, including new maps, vehicles, and much more! And if that’s not enough, SnowRunner’s vibrant modding community has already produced hundreds of mods that will keep you coming back for something new.
I'm keeping an eye out for Mortal Shell; it looks like Dark Souls Evolved!
Twin Mirrors seems interesting, just because I love the genre :)
Game pass is not the same thing as selling you a game to keep for ever. It's a subscription model. Oh and remember this https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/apr/26/playstation-network-hackers-data or this https://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/12/10/77000-steam-users-are-hacked-every-month-heres-how-valve-is-fixing-it/. And if you don't mind me asking where did i ''attack you''?
at the same time the 2 sites numbers (Store and Community) are very close to similar
https://www.similarweb.com/website/steamcommunity.com/
And Steam's monthly active users are probably around what we are seeing on those 2 sites, which is probably around that 150 to 175 million users, since it was 120 MAU last year. The user base is the same for both store and community, I think a comparison can be made just because the numbers are so similar to between store and the community that blending them together would still result in ~ the same number.
Either way, neither Steam nor Epic users are spending a lot of time on the stores
Eh, steampowered.com and steamcommunity.com have the same userbase, but different purposes though. You're not going to be using steamcommunity.com without visiting steampowered.com, so the latter is still fairly accurate for what's used by the main steam store userbase. Steamcommunity is more like a social media site, whereas steampowered is the game store and what we should compare with Epic.
Remove 'store' subdomain for a more accurate result though. https://www.similarweb.com/website/steampowered.com/?competitors=epicgames.com
https://www.similarweb.com/website/store.steampowered.com/?competitors=steamcommunity.com
I have to point out that Steam has two sides, store, and community, I know this can cause confusion, and things might not add up by that I refer to traffic amount by country, which Epic #1 traffic is china, while Steam #1 traffic is US, not sure how this add, or if site even accurate, not sure if Steam has another service that not being tracked at all because they did launch a Chinese Steam version in China, and I don't know if it tracked at all.
You've got a point there, achievements on a store that has no user profile system is kinda absurd in first glance. But they might be also planning to add user profile system similar to Unreal Learning. If they adding profile system to an engine learning portal, I don't see any reason not to add it into someplace that would look more appropriate than a learning portal.
The Epic Online Services that are in development includes achievements. The roadmap for these services have been taken down until GDC 2020, when they will discuss the updated roadmap and their plans.
I doubt we'll hear anything about achievements until then.
https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/update-on-epic-online-services
Agree in general but I must correct some of the points.
They're not simply just a Fortnite company they also have Unreal Engine which is most popular game engine across PC and console games from triple-A games to indies. And it serves not only for game industry. So they have pretty much money income other than Fortnite, no worries. But it is true that they developing EGS with Fortnite money.
They even have Epic MegaGrant which is basically a funding project. They recently founded Blender with $1.2 million. See more here;
https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/megagrants
Right now they have 228 item on their store in total. You can check that by going Store page and switching to Browse page there you can see the total number of items on the store.
Their last feature update shipped on November 20. They were regularly shipping new features in every two weeks or so. As someone has already mentioned here, the new features delay is probably because of the holiday season. But of course some features are also requires more time due to level of complexity.
Tons of Paragon assets are free on the unreal engine store, so it's unlikely to be coming back (example: https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/slug/paragon-gideon ). There were a few attempts at making a successor, but none of them made it off the ground yet, I think.
Epic is heavily working on out of box crossplay integration for unreal, should be released this year (couple weeks after Borderlands 3 launch) https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/epic-2019-cross-platform-online-services-roadmap
>Yes facts are facts. All provided
You've provided no facts. Zilch, nada, nyet, none whatsoever. All you have is "circulars" and self-affirmative statements with no actual documentation or evidence to back it up.
>Nobody is forcing Steam to be/push DRM
And Steam isn't. Valve couldn't care less if you didn't use Steamworks and just sold the game as-is.
>They can be completely DRM-neutral like EGS
They are, or there wouldn't be a list of DRM-free games on Steam. It's not Valve's job to tell devs/publishers how to use its platform.
They set the base price, but those stores are still free to run their own promotions as well. For example, GMG has Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood at 15% off while it's still the regular price on EGS.
Also, if multiple stores selling a game isn't competition then what is?
It ain't free but, it's a start. And there's also this, which is a historic low(outside it being free of course).
And you can get the TellTale Batman for $4.99 right now via the $10 coupon. Which ul' probably be free soon anyway.
Have you tried to connect via bluetooth or with an usb cable? Do you only have issues with GTA V? If so, maybe this program could help DS4WINDOWS. It's basically an xbox controller emulator for PS controllers.

I got FC3 with the Gold Edition. Show them this page. I got mine after some 4-5 days. The only problem I had with this store so far. The support sucks on this topic. Those guys seem to have no clue.

It has finally arrived to the Epic-Games-Store and it seems to be the drm-free version (I could start it without the EGS-launcher): https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/rimworld/home. Together with the $10-Coupon it is also the lowest price I have seen until today.
