yes, completely normal and expected.
Great book on the topic of Sleep from Mathew Walker. Why we sleep.
You seem to have extremely good focus. You have to adjust what your focused on. I have a few book suggestions. "Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart" by Gordon Livingston. Here is a link to a good overview. The last link is a lecture direct from JBP on the book. The challenging part for Beyond Order vs 12 Rules is precisely that the concepts are less concrete/more subjective to the reader’s own experiences. If 12 Rules is practical advice for bringing order to one’s life as a foundation, Beyond Order is the stepping stone for growth on thriving in the chaotic (and even recognizing the necessity of that chaos as mechanism for betterment and change).
Balance is the goal with Beyond Order. Too much order, and a person/system/society can grow brittle, stringent, and stagnant. Too much chaos, and they could likewise become formless and wild. The psychology behind balancing both aims to provide a sort of broad wayfinding method for stability and then further development. JBP’s own experiences with family health battles, depression, and addiction evidence the psychological need for direction, change, love, and growth. These so often tend to be more subjective topics which is part of why I think it’s harder to absorb.
Känns som Stefan skulle behöva lyssna på Jocko Willink: https://www.getstoryshots.com/books/extreme-ownership-summary/#Chapter_1_Extreme_Ownership
