Oh and a few other random points:
1) Do your push ups and meditation when you're taking breaks during your HW.
That way you have a motivation to do them -- you want to get away from the HW -- AND you get a break from HW that isn't going to keep you away for too long.
2) Also, Habitica is an awesome option.
3) Also, I use swipes myself and love it
Remember The Titans, Forest Gump and all of these 6 in the list http://swipesapp.com/blog/inspirational-movies-to-boost-productivity/
If you like making lists use any of the previously recommended apps. If you like to actually get stuff done then use swipes.
No offense to lists I just like to keep all those in wunderlist. For to-do lists I prefer swipes.
I would like a redo of Swipes for Android. Essentially the same app, less buggy, and better options for managing snoozing of notes/reminders (in X hours, in X+2 hours, etc)
u/mindofmetalandwheels I found this cool little app which I am still exploring but it is a minimalist task manager. It has apps for ios mac and on the web. http://swipesapp.com/ and it has a dark mode which is always nice :)
Swipes has definitely improved my productivity for the last 2 months using it.
It has minimal design and intuitive interface. It's like the Mailbox for tasks - swipe left to snooze a task, swipe right complete a task. NB! It's totally free unlike some well known competitors.
There's a smooth integration with EN - you can pull tasks from all notes with check marks. Organize a project with check marks in EN and import it in Swipes for more convenient access.
The integration is made very wisely. If you complete a task in Swipes it will be check marked in EN, and vise versa.
I'm an Android user, the iOS users can also enjoy a Gmail integration where you can pull the email subjects and they will appear as name of the task in Swipes.
For those of you looking for something authentic like a genuine To Dos in EN this may be a solution that actually works.
Usage:
Will be happy to see other fellows using Swipes and their comments. I myself like using the app in a various ways like:
Snoozing all the tasks without the most important I'm working on currently so I can get into a focus mode - this helps me remove all distractions
Using repeating tasks to be reminded about few things I do everyday (you can set this up by taping on a task in the current list of tasks)
using the so called work spaces (tags) - I have 5 tags - office, personal | 5 mins., 30 mins, 1 hour and I'm combining the first set of tags with the second to get a quick overview of what kind of tasks I have to deal with
The average star rating for Android is 4.2 stars. The average star rating for iOS is 4.5 (iPhone, iPad & Mac app)
What is your privacy policy? I don't see one on your site. A similar app, Swipes, has a very disturbing policy on user data once you create an account, which includes their mandatory cloud service. Also curious on how your sync works... is it two way or one way? Another app, Taskclone uses one way sync to pull user data from any given note with a checkmark, but can't sync back to Evernote. Thanks!
