All of Texas and bordering states are blacked out, both Astros and Rangers.
The way I get around it is to sign up for a VPN service. I use GoTrusted and it works really well. I use this every year. Luckily, I'm a T-Mobile customer so they gave all customers a free season of Premium, so now I only pay for the VPN service.
Just use a VPN service such as GoTrusted. Your connection will funnel through a server in the US, allowing you to view the video on (as well as anything else that is region-restricted). It only costs a few bucks per month.
Google VPNs. There's free ones that work well, and for purchases they should be enough. Then there's paid ones. I have one I pay $5 a month for, and I watch Netflix and Hulu through it, apart from connecting to Steam. All you have to do is download a program, activate it and that's it. It gives you a fake IP from the US. The one I use is GoTrusted, and even though it's paid, $5 isn't too much and it works really great.
The way it work with GoTrusted, I download a VPN client after I have signed up for the service. So this is to only one device, but you can download the client to other devices like a desktop or computer. I have it both my Surface Pro and desktop.
Then when the client is installed, I go into the settings and tell it the region I want, which I select UK. After that I sign in.
Once the VPN client is signed in, then I go to and login as usually and watch the game.
As for other devices like AppleTV and tablets, I know there's a way to get the VPN settings onto Apple and Android devices, but just havent done it myself. There are instructions on the service site, but since I use my windows devices, I just stick to that.
I use GoTrusted and they seem to work fine. I had a couple DMCA notices before and haven't had any since. Make sure to set your upload rate in your torrent to 0, though. That seems to be where people get in trouble.
I was using GoTrusted at first but the quality wasn't that good and I had more buffering than I wanted (despite having 50 Mbit internet). I'm using Hidemyass now (which is apparently free for 30 days if you let them know why you're canceling) and it's much better than GoTrusted for me.
I'm getting about 100ms ping to most of the UK servers from my location now. I don't know if there's better but I'm happy for now.
I've worked helpdesk for 10+ years.
1) If you're going to browse, don't use the company's computer. Bring your own laptop, or if you work from home use your own PC. If you only have 1 monitor use a KVM switch to go back and forth between the company machine and yours.
2) If you're going to use your personal laptop on the company's wifi, use a vpn service like GoTrusted. That will bypass a lot of the wifi's firewall rules as the traffic will just look like encrypted port 80 traffic.
Yes. Look up Astrill VPN or Strong VPN or GoTrusted VPN. Those three are good ones. You pay for this service and then it masks your IP address.
So you would put on a European or Asian IP address on the VPN and this makes the NFL think you are out of the country therefore giving you access to the live games through the foreign gamepass plan.
VPN prices vary from service to service. I use GoTrusted since it seems to be inexpensive ($5.99 a month) and got rid of my throttling issues with Comcast. There are free ones, but they are usually unreliable and often shady as fuck.
