Here are links to the apps I used before the update.
Android apps
Barcode Generator You use Code128 as the code type.
Edit: Clarification
Google lens can do it. If you have a stock Android device it's built into the camera app (it's in the swipe out menu)
If not and you don't want to use lens

It's free and ad free.
If you have NFC tags you can use those also since it's a bit faster.
I use this one
(for android)
It's a normal code39, but you can't have spaces so you'd go to add code and then for that example it'd be 01D001G01 for the code.
I've used it when our freezer was so fucked you couldn't scan any locations because you could barely stand in it and they told us we could INF items from grocery that required it since it forces you to scan it in.
there's on in Google Play store that I use called Barcode Generator
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.aeioulabs.barcode&hl=en_US&gl=US
It's worked great for me, mostly use it for backroom locations or cheating when doing pulls and I find a ghost.
It depends.
If the card only has the barcode, and not an embedded NFC chip or something, it will still scan OK, and the balance is kept in your account inside the grocery store's own IT systems anyway, not on the card itself. However, the cashier might reject the card if you cut it down.
Also, some cards contain an NFC (contactless) chip, which actively communicates with the card terminal when you hold it against it. In this case, an antenna is embedded into the card, often running all the way along the edge. By cutting the card down, you will damage this antenna and disable the contactless function.
There are smartphone apps available for scanning and displaying barcodes, such as Barcode Generator (Android) or Apple Wallet (iOS). Maybe that's an alternative for you? However, not all physical barcode scanner devices are capable of scanning a barcode displayed on a smartphone screen, and the cashier might reject the code displayed on the phone just as likely as the cut-down card.
>Gibt es noch Apps
Mein lieblings QR code reader ist dieser, weil umsonst und werbungsfrei:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.aeioulabs.barcode&hl=en
Es gibt natürlich VLC, für falls du Musik als Datei hast.
Although myStore is available on Android as you already learned, I've used https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.aeioulabs.barcode in my retail adventures and it's really good at what it does. No premium feature or ad bs, just makes and saves barcodes of varying types for you
Ok so if you have a sharable calendar link you can, for example, encode it in a QR code and write a bit.ly redirect Bellow it too. That way somebody with a QR code reader app will just scan it and somebody with no app to read it or camera can always type it in.
For example on Android there is this one which I find quite nice: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.aeioulabs.barcode
But any will do, you're only after the link. Print a few stickers with basic info relating to that room, the QR and the link in text and it'd be enough.
Give This a shot
