This is awesome. I can't believe I didn't know about it before. And they have an app, for all you Android tablet users
http://baseball.theater is going to have an app coming out.
/u/HelloControl_ was/is looking for beta testers.
Edit - Scratch that, it's already out.

Thread he made about it yesterday that I missed somehow.
They actually have an Android app (maybe iOS too).
I think there's only an Android app
Wow, that's a fantastic site! And there's an Android app too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jakelauer.baseballtheater&hl=en

># Long Version
>Baseball Theater is both a website and an Android app that I created as my love letter to /r/baseball and the team subreddits (shoutout to /r/chicubs) to let you watch highlights for baseball games super easily, with lots of little tools to enhance that experience. We all know how unpleasant mlb.com and ESPN are for watching highlights, so I set about making that easier for everyone.
>
>Most of the team subreddits have gameday threads that show highlights as the game progresses, but a lot of highlights are added after the game ends (especially condensed games and recaps) which aren't picked up by those threads. This fixes that.
>
>Here are some of the things Baseball Theater provides:
>
>
>* See all the games played for any date: https://baseball.theater/20160912
>* View highlights from any day for which MLB.com provides data (here's Game 7 of the WS, go Cubs)
>* Direct links for all the different available video qualities
>- Choose your favorite team so their games always appear at the top of the page
>- Hide scores for all games, so you can watch the condensed games without spoilers
>- Mobile-friendly website
>* Android app, which includes most of the website features, plus the ability to set preferred qualities for wifi & mobile data. (this takes me longer to update so updates are less frequent)
>- Everything is free, and always will be

>- New design
> - Much nicer visually, should still provide all the same info that you've come to enjoy
> - There is a bug with city names for multi-team cities (Cubs show up as Chi Cubs Cubs). I'll get this fixed up ASAP.
>- Articles section for MLB news
> - This was a fun one! The site now grabs the RSS feeds from various sites that I think provide good MLB articles (Fangraphs, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, 538).
> - I don't like having to go to all these different sites to see all of the articles, so it's nice to have it all in one place.
> - I am open to suggestions for sites to add or remove.
>- Highlights separated by team
> - Left column is the away team, right column is home team.
> - If you're on mobile web, the home team highlights are shown by default unless your "favorite" team is the away team.
>- Lots of bug fixes & improvements
> - Mostly for those of you in non-US timezones

>Hey guys, I'm the creator of baseball.theater, a website for /r/baseball to easily watch game highlights. Last year, the site was a big hit, and I've made some improvements this year to make it even better. As always, it is completely free, now and forever.
>
> I posted much of this information during Spring Training, but seeing as lots of people don't pay much attention to things until the season starts, I figured I'd put up a reminder about it for everyone. I don't intend to spam the site, so I never submit updates about Baseball Theater more than once a month.

>#What is Baseball Theater?
>Baseball Theater is both a website and an Android app that let you watch highlights for baseball games super easily, with lots of little tools to enhance that experience. I made the website as my gift to r/baseball and the various team subreddits (and to myself!), because the MLB experience is really slow and unpleasant.
>
>/r/baseball and the team subreddits already have nice ways to see highlights, with the video converter bot and the game threads that automatically update with videos as the game progresses. However, those threads stop updating when the game is over, so they miss interview videos and other highlights. Plus, it's hard to go back and find a thread from more than a couple of days ago.

># What's new in 2017
>* Brand new Android app! Download here. Includes all the website features, plus the ability to set preferred qualities for wifi & mobile data.
>* Website is now HTTPS-secured
>* Website will attempt to automatically choose default thumbnail & video quality based on loading speed (to avoid killing your mobile data limits)
>* Complete rewrite of the website, for speed. It is now 20x faster to load highlights for a game.
>- Everything is free still, and always will be
>- I signed up on Patreon for those who wanted to contribute to the project's development. There are links in the site & app for anyone interested in this.
