I have no idea how this hasn't been mentioned yet, but the 5e Companions app for Android (and maybe iOS?) is absolutely the best. Has all published options for Wild Shape, Ranger companion, Familiars, Polymorph, Elementals, Fey, and Celestials. You can sort by CR and movement type and then mark entries as favorites. You can have any beast statblock in front of you in about 5 seconds. As a DM, and as an occasional Druid player, this app has been invaluable.

I don't know about a list, but there's an Android app called Companions that works wonderfully for most situations. Includes lists for Wild Shape, Ranger Companions, Familiars, Polymorph, Elementals, and Fey. You can sort by CR, Size or Movement and it has stat blocks for each. Also, it has a Favorites list you can add your more commonly used creatures to for quicker reference. I'm not sure if there's an iOS equivalent or not, but you can get the Android version here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en

I like this one. There are a few formatting errors here and there, and it doesn't give info for Undead minions you can summon, but I'm pretty sure it has everything else as of the most recent update.
The Companions for D&D 5e app for android has statblocks for the 4 elemental gens. Note that these statblocks come from the Guild Adept content "Xanathar's Lost Notes to Everything Else," which is known to be rather poorly balanced. I think these gens would be a fair option as a familiar for a Warlock who has taken Pact of the Chain, but no one else.
Otherwise, it might be appropriate to serve as the kind of familiar that a player can bind to if the gen is willing (the party does a favor/quest for them or their goals are otherwise aligned), but it isn't compelled to follow orders and can leave the player's service at any time.
If these seem too powerful/disruptive for familiars in your game, I recommend using the statblock for the Flying Monkey from ToA, or the Tressym from SKT (if you want a bit more magic/power), and just flavoring them as a gen.
There's an app on the Google play store called companions. Searching for dnd companions should bring it up- it has a water weird as it's icon. It lists all allowed shapes for wildshape, as well as polymorph, ranger companions, etc.

Not literally but yes, there are!

If they have Android and you're okay with phones at the table, there's also an app called Companions 5e, which is a godsend for Druids.
In case she's interested in having them all in one place, there's a really simple app that I use which has beasts and fey and elementals for Druids and Rangers and anyone else that has summons, pets, familiars, mounts, or Polymorph. It's this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
You can turn into any beast you've seen that meets the requirements. There's a list of beats in the back of the Monster Manual.
If you're more of a digital person, and have an Android device, I'd suggest this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
You could turn into a frog/toad for 2 hours (half level, rounded down) with Wild Shape.
Can breath water, if needed, and get +3 to stealth. Normally you get some xp for avoid a fight as well as killing bad guys.
Not only will it be a clever way to go about it (Maybe you don't like killing? Depends on your character), but it should be faster so if the others players are there they won't be bored.
And then when you do meet up with them, you'll have a bunch of spells slots, HP, HD, etc. left since you didn't have to fight your way out.
Edit: If you have an Android device, I'd suggest you check out the app called Companions. It's free. Gives you a list of every beast you can turn into, or familiar you can find, or beast you can summon (druid or ranger). Lets you search by size, CR, and abilities (no flying, etc.).
if the player has an android there's this app, if not, a simple solution is to text them a picture of the stat block from the MM
If you have an Android device, I'd suggest Companions
Use the rules in the book to figure out the CR and swim/flight restrictions, then look at the list in the app. Everything there is from an official 5e book.
I use both of those apps and love them as well. Also, for having beast stat blocks handy (wild shape, familiars, etc) this one works wonders:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
If you can find a way to merge the virtues of these apps and consolidate them into one, you'd have an app I'd pay for :)
Not sure if they use it but Companions is useful for druids. Gives you a sortable list of wild shape forms also has options for elementals/fey as well as polymorph and ranger (beastmaster) and familiars
A lot of people on here were talking about Companions 5e that is a link to it on the google store and this is a link over to the convo where /u/llokii is posting and taking feedback about it.
Not a character sheet app, but Companions for D&D 5e is an absolutely wonderful app. Stat blocks for anything you can polymorph or wildshape into, with sorts by their movement type, your "Favorites," CR, whatever. This is the app I hand to anyone playing a druid in my campaigns.
If you want something quick on the go try the Companions for D&D 5e appfor Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en.
That way he may not need more pages of text. Everything is searchable by CR, type etc and has full stats. Very handy in my games.
I dont believe that any of the beasts for Wild Shape have proficiency in any saves. If your wanting to know more about what kind of things your beast forms can do, i suggest looking at the 5e companion ap. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en
I find this "Companions" app so helpful.
"Reference guide with full stats and info for: Druid Wild Shape forms Beastmaster Ranger Companions Familiars

This is the app I use and I love it. Perhaps try to bring in some of the features offered by it so you're on par. Sorting by CR, or perhaps being able to list your Druid level and type so the app can auto populate your possible forms would possibly be appreciated. Also, perhaps check boxes for "seen" or "known" for those with strick DMs who hold their Druids to the "must have seen the animal" rule and apply it to the campaign, rather than allowing a Nature check to determine if they know the animal. This would help keep track of that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
Companions is pretty nifty if you've got a Druid in the party to save you looking up animal stats.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
Can't seem to find the spellbook app I use, guess they must have taken it down. Pity, feels a bit more polished than the ones still available.
Not sure about a list of them. I use an app for it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
Edit:
Okay. I just checked. There isn't really a section of it for conjure spells, but it does list Wild Shape, Ranger (companions), Familiars (both for Find Familiar, as well as other means), Polymorph, Elementals, and Fey.
Not quire what you're looking for, but should do it. Lets you organize by size, movement type, and CR.
Companions for D&D 5e really came in handy for my druid. That SpellBook cards app was also a great help!
> I'm just going to place this here

It's for Android, I don't know if there's an iphone version or not.
If you just play around and see which shape your character as the most fun with the result may surprise you.
If you're casting a concentration spell like Entangle or Faerie Fire pre-combat then sometimes it's worth going for a higher AC than HP, you may miss out on a multi-attack but you'll be boosting your party's attacks
Dire Wolf, Elk and Brown Bear are all great in combat. If you generally have an ally in melee then Dire Wolf will have advantage on attacks, it's AC and HP are also a bit higher. If not then Brown Bear multi-attack is great.
Both are Large so make sure you're not getting in the way of either your ranged or melee allies. This size often allows you to block off/control areas of the battlefield, reducing the enemy's options
Giant Spider If you want to scout ahead and suspect combat is nigh then you can sneak across the ceiling (+7 stealth) and web your enemy so all your party has advantage on their attacks
Giant Badger They dig tunnels! This is very, very handy to help the party infiltrate/escape/hide etc
Cats 'n' Rats great urban scouts, even if you are seen then you needn't be seen as a threat
Ape has a ranged attack and can manipulate many humanoid objects/weapons etc
Flea/bug you could literally spy on someone by sitting on their shoulder...just don't get squashed

If you are on android, companions is great.

The Companions app for Android is what I use.
There is an app for that:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions
1) Like the other said, Yes it works as normal.
2) 3) If you use a smartphone, there are apps that I find really helpful: Companions for D&D 5e for all the shapeshifting thing, Spell List D&D 5th Edition and 5th Edition Spellbook. I really like the later, but it lacks non-core spell which really is a shame.
There is a nice app for Wildshape/Ranger Companions/Familiars that might help with that.
There are loads of cards and spell trackers and apps etc which can look a bit overwhelming. None of them are essential and very soon you'll not need any of them. However I found it really useful to check them all out at the beginning to see which one, if any, works for you.
This person made some great wildshape cards:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/2vxnp4/5e_beast_cards_28_of_95_for_druid_wildshape_xpost/
This is a great wildshape app:

This is a great spells app
There's an Android app, if that helps.

I've used this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en
Ah, it may only be Android in that case, you can check with the company

If you have an Android, I use this
Companions app for wildshapes and conjuring etc https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en_GB
This one if you are a druid :)
Companions for D&D 5e is useful for druids. That and the spellbook cards posted below are ones I find most useful.
This is a great Android app that helps with some more detail.
If you're on android, there is a handy app for it [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions] which lists a bunch of forms with their stats, CR, abilities etc.
I'm still seeing the companion app on the Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sixdeight.companions&hl=en
Is amazing if you want beast stats for a druid/ranger/familliar
There's a nice app (at least on Android) called Companions for D&D 5e
