There are smart phone apps that contain the character sheet, I've been using Fifth Edition Character Sheet for years. Solid.
I've used the android app Fifth edition character sheet use this app to build the characters then fill out the character sheet. It'll help you understand how the process goes.
I've started using Notion. Sly Flourish did a nice write up and included a great template to get started. Once you get used to it, it's a pretty cool tool.
Rules as written, you can choose an Imp, Sprite, Quasit or Pseudodragon. Point that out to your DM. Pick the stats of one (they're available online) and ask your DM if you can reflavour one as a cherub.
A familiar can use the Help action to give you advantage on one attack roll per round. It can also Help you on any ability check you can justify.
This app has both iPhone and android versions, and it works fairly well. As an added benefit, it lets you make multiple characters for free!
My bf and I found on Amazon, Date Night Dungeons. They currently have 4 books where you and her would switch dm'ing every session. Characters are preset but with the addition of attraction points, we are very much enjoying the modules. I included the link for the first book on amazon:
Rescue of the Blackthorn Clan: A Couple's Adventure Module: OGL 5th Edition (Date Night Dungeons) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1954686013/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_BN7THPV9GM9QPCE17JQY
The 5e Companion App (Android + Apple) has done me well so far. It's free (you can pay to upgrade) and you can do pretty much everything. It has Character sheets, a party tracker, combat tracker/simulator, full bestiary, dice roller and a glossary, all rolled into one. It's updated pretty regularly as well, plus you can add your own homebrew

The sub is r/5eCompanion if you wanna check some stuff out
Hello my friend!
If anyone wants an alternative for an offline tabletop Rpg tool, quite humble and simpler than that one, check this out, that the one i have got:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Tomorrow.Roll20TabletopRpgMaps
It has been pretty usable to me for a long time and i think it is the best tabletop rpg app on android for offline campaign management.
I'm going to elaborate unnecessarily, just to beat this dead horse.

No. From the spell: "For the Duration, you sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you. If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, ...".
It's plain english.

"sensing magic" does not mean seeing an aura. it's a binary - the presence or absence of magic within 30'. That is it.
Yes there are, you have to navigate to them through the files section. Files>Books>Rpg>Dungeons & Dragons should be the path.

Phantom Steed; Communal is a spell in Pathfinder/3.5. I don't see why you couldn't just port it over.
Heck, just use the 5e version and add: "At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, summon one additional steed for each slot level above 3rd.
... I'd also probably extend the duration to something like 1 hour / level. 1 minute is stupid.
There are tons for icon websites out there. some for free, but the best ones you have to pay for ( usually just a few bucks, and it supports the artists)
Try searching for "Fantasy"' icons
Might have to cobble them together from sever different sources to find ones that match what you want.
Check out the AD&D Oriental Adventures handbook. Here is a link to the book on Amazon.
I seem to recall some modules built around this book from way back in the day. You may need to do some searching but it would be in the AD&D version of the dnd.
Hope this helps and happy gaming.
I was gonna suggest the same app. Here are the links for the app -
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blastervla.ddencountergenerator
Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/5e-companion-app/id1507254451
Fyi this is a phone app that I don’t think is on computer but i could be wrong about that.
Good job you for making something and putting it up on the Play Store! Can you explain what your app does to set it apart from other apps such as Lion Den's Fight Club 5?
Yeah! Sorry I should of been more specific!

I’m thinking of purchasing this to get a few sessions under my belt, i like the idea of it also been a nice start for my players with some pre generated characters to get them into 5e.
Why would you have to re-write the dragon queen campaign? Sorry I haven’t researched that campaign just yet. Is it that bad? Awkward?
Try Grid Paper This is a great price - you can find similar for about $30 at an office supply store.
Pros: Cheap. Can draw something and you just have it for as long as you take care of the paper.
Cons: It's not a battlemat, it's paper. You have to store any maps you want to keep.
I do just fine with this, I bought mine at an office supply store, but this link changes my plans going forward. I don't mind the storage challenge and enjoy that I can draw important locations *once*.
??? Like for inspiration?
For world building/city feels/flavor I like "Invisible Cities", which is a collection of tales from Marco Polo put together by Italo Calvino, translated from italian by William Weaver (here's a link I found on google for it)
For character creation, honestly read any fantasy. Wheel of Time has characters you can easily make character sheets for, excepting maybe Rand al'Thor. I also just read "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, which was great for learning how a wizard/bard might work, as well as an innkeeper. Also, recorded book is boss.
But if you want to buy just one book, and you want something amazing and fast and simple I highly recommend "Table Fables" by Madeline Hale (it's on amazon for less than $11). This book has roll-to-make lists for almost everything, from PC and NPC creation to random loot, to monster attacks! This helps especially with random encounters and smoothing-over awkward "wait I have nothing planned for THAT direction"-moments, it's great! Here's a link to that too!.
Hope that helps, that's what I use, PM me if you need anymore help :) also, I think the more you read the more fun these games get
I just started and bought this box+map:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XFN6ZGD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Used it for three sessions now. Haven't regretted it one bit. I usually prep one side the day before, and use the other side for random on-the-fly encounters. The dry erase comes off with a little work if left on for a couple days. Dry erase cleaner works great for those, though.
Folds nicely and has a box to put figure in, paper, your dry erase markers and eraser... It a good buy from my perspective.
My dm has one of these. We store it at my house and my recommendation is to make sure you roll it for storage if not laying flat. Make sure it stays rolled. Ours accidentally got semi-folded, but nothing creased. Just made it a bit rippled during our last session. It’s now stored in a cardboard tube.

It Should be called 'Campaign Lab' and it should be available for free on the Google Play Store.

Sorry, smart ass comment. Idk what you should name it, but I hope it works better than any of the alternatives on the market.
This may not be 100% what you're looking for, but on Android I've had good success with Fifth Edition Character Sheet
